I supplied just the shifter bushing and they installed it.. just charging me for labor. They also try to work with your schedule. I couldn't drop off my car during the day so they said I could drop the car off in the dead of the night and they'd work on it the morning. We had our 96 M edition fully restored with new interior, top, and significant engine work. Alex and Joe worked magic and gave us back our baby in like new condition. RSpeed is a dream come true... getting away from the overpriced untrustworthy dealers. From the moment I first spoke with Alex over the phone... he was very patient, very friendly... he explained his answers... and answered all of mine plus some. They replaced my 2003 Miata engine back in 2016, that's right... the engine! So you know, they know what they're doing, because now it's now 2018 and it's been running super great! They obviously are doing my maintenance and I've always had the same great quality and super warm fuzzy feeling from them! I've seen people walk into the shop before and ask them to work on other car types, instead of blowing people off they've taken the time to recommend somewhere reliable to take their car... help them out and just be kind human beings! This review is only for the online store. When I first purchased my miata, I had a very sloppy shifter. After shopping around, Rspeed had a very competitive price for the kit I was looking for. No complaints on the transaction, the shipping, or the product. I just wish they were closer to me so that I could get my timing belt done by them. Keep up the good work guys! read more

They make things right! I went to RSpeed with my 1994 Miata complaining that my car was conking out at stop lights, had starting problems, and the belt squealed. They gave it a 60,000 mile overhaul replacing belts, seals, oil, you name it... The belt still squealed, and while it no longer died at the lights, it was still having starting problems. My car ran 50% better, but I was not satisfied. I complained, so they re-replaced my belts until they didn't squeal and replaced a fuel pump and filter FOR FREE... just to keep me satisfied and make things right. They are really dedicated to their customers. read more

Hector is as good as it gets. I am sure everyone else is as well. With 1 single phone conversation lasting only 5 min., he saved me $1,000.00. He knew exactly what was up and told me how to fix what was a disconnected vacuum hose where 2 other shops said I needed a new intake manifold. Plain and simple. If you own a Miata, you owe it to yourself and your car to do business with R-Speed. You will never meet a nicer, more honest group of folks than the people at R-Speed. You'll never meet anyone more knowledgeable or enthusiastic about Miatas They literally treat you like family. They listen, they give you options and advice. If there's a way to save you money, they'll tell you. If you have an emergency, they'll help you out. Short story: I had my clutch master cylinder go out on the way home from work just as R-Speed was closing. Stranded on the side of the road, I called Joseph and he said he'd stay open until I got there. As I was waiting for the tow truck Joe drove out and waited with me. When the tow truck arrived, Joe drove me back to the shop, put my car in the garage, and drove me home, 30 miles out of his way. When was the last time you got that kind of service? And, that kind of service is not a one-time thing. It happens all the time at R-Speed. I could tell you story after story, and so could anyone else who's been to R-Speed. There are people who drive in from other states just to have their car worked on by Hector. They work on other cars too... Do yourself and your car a favor and head to R-Speed. read more
