Good grief-i don't see how I missed reviewing this place as I have used them for years! Mazcare has taken care of a couple of my Mazdas-an old 1990 626 my mom passed down to me when I first started driving and most recently my 2009 mazda 3. Once i bought my cx-5 I stopped taking the 3 to the dealer and started using mazcare. They are very honest, kind and will make sure your car is taken care of. Their pricing is very reasonable as well. Unfortunately for me my cx-5 was totaled so I think I'm moving away from mazda for a while but if you own a mazda and this is near you please give them a try! read more

Today was my first time using Mazcare. A part fell off my trim and I wanted to replace it. I looked for nearby Mazda service and found Mazcare. It had really good reviews, so I decided to try it. It was late at night, so I used their online appointment scheduling for the very next afternoon. First thing this morning, there was confirmation of my scheduling! How nice. When I went for my appointment, I was given the price for the repair and told I'd need to wait for a short time for the part to be ordered. My total wait time to get the part and install it was less than an hour. Everyone was so efficient and so friendly. I'll definitely go back when I have any work to be done on my Mazda. read more

These guys absolutely came to our rescue! On my way back to No GA from a gulf beach trip my Mazda CX 5 developed an intermittent miss along with some unusual warning codes. Since I was going right by the Marietta Mazda dealer I stopped in only to be told that they don't work on Mazdas with over 150,000 miles any longer. They did, however, refer me to MazCare just down Cobb Prkwy from them. I was not hopeful since it was almost 4pm when I rolled in. Charlie jumped right in and diagnosed a bad coil pack on cylinder #2 and recommended changing the spark plugs also. They had a spare coil pack that they had salvaged from another repair job to use...NO CHARGE! Four plugs and a used coil pack later and we were back on our way home. Now I know where to take my Mazda for future service needs thanks to Charlie and Sheldon at MazCare. Thanks guys! read more

I am very satisfied with the Miata service I received from MazCare today. They completed the work I requested, (replace clutch throwout bearing) and helped to solve the problem I was having (noise when the clutch was depressed and shifting was less than smooth). The work was completed in one day, and they sent me emails to let me know their recommendations for additional services. When I picked up the car, Charlie took the time to thoroughly explain to me what they found and what they did to correct the issues. I know what you're thinking... an auto repair shop with 5 stars?! Sketchyyyyyy, these reviews must be paid for/fake, all.the.horror. But yal, it's REAL and well deserved. I was overdue for an oil change and called to see if I could be squeezed in for an appointment. Sheldon was incredibly friendly and able to accommodate. I was immediately greeted when I arrived and they pulled my car into the shop very fast. I could not have been there for more than 25 minutes. The professionalism here is top notch and you can tell that Sheldon & the team knows their stuff! easiest way to put this is that they will not even look at slightly modified cars, i had called them for an pre-purchase inspection for a mazdaspeed6and because it was slightly modified (nothing past simple bolt-ons they rejected looking at it. I guess they do not know mazdas as well as they say they. and maybe i would have less of a problem with it if the guy was not so eager to hang up especially after cutting my sentence off to say we do not look at modified cars. read more

Years ago I took in my Miata as a 1st time customer for an oil change. It began smoking the day after I got it back from this place. They said it was a separate wear-down issue. Mazcare is a great independent mechanic for Mazda and Japanese cars. I brought my new pre-owned Mazda CX-5 in for it's first oil change and a checkup. They took me the same day, and was able to get my oil changed with their full synthetic oil that they order from France and a check up down in about 45 minutes. They are very knowledgable about Mazdas. They have recently started to service non-Mazda cars, so if you have a non-Mazda you can take it here as well. My only complaint is that they recommend the full-synthetic oil change every 3500 miles, which is a little excessive. Other than that they are great, and knowledgeable and reasonably priced. read more

let me tell you. This place is the BEST for all your Mazda needs. I bought a 2002 Mazda P5 from Charlie. It was my first manual car and I'm now an advocate for manual driving- its just better. Unfortunately I needed to replace the wheel bearing, once mazcare got in there it turned out to be a lot more than just the wheel bearing. This was on a Friday and I was starting a new job the following Monday. Mazcare went way above and beyond to get the parts they needed (which some they did not have so they actually called around and found it) because of their dedication and hard work, I got to keep my new job and continue racing around in the P5. Ohhh how I love Mazcare! These guys have been my exclusive mechanics since 2005. Before then, my car had been to a random selection of mechanics who did an 'ok' job at dealing with my 99 Mazda Protege. But then I still had car problems and then alas I was was introduced to Mazcare, Charlie and Alan really look out for you and your car, also there's two other mechanic guys there who do an excellent job I just can't remember their names right now! (*sorry guys) They specialize in Mazda (all models, any year) and they do a superb job. Since they specialize in Mazdas you know your car is being taken care of thoroughly, also these guys aren't just out to get your $$$ while doing half-a$$ed work, they take the time to really get to the root of your auto problems and they keep you informed every step of the way. They even call you after the fact to follow up with you and make sure your Mazda is purring like a kitten. I often recommend this place to other Mazda owners as well as individuals who are considering getting a Mazda. The quality of service here exceeds the local dealership and their prices can't be beat either. read more

I switched to Mazcare about a year ago for my auto service needs after using a Mazda dealer for many years. I left the dealer due to rude service that I received there. I have been extremely pleased with the switch to Mazcare and highly recommend them. Here are some of the reasons I recommend Mazcare: --It is extremely easy to schedule appointments. I fill out an easy form on-line requesting a time and Charlie usually sends an email back shortly thereafter confirming the time. --When you have an appointment, they work on your car right away so you don't have to wait. I usually get in and out of there in about a half hour for oil changes. --All of the personnel are very friendly and helpful. --I do not feel that I'm being ripped off by having unnecessary work recommended. It seems they run a real honest business. In the time I have been going there, they haven't discovered any needed repair work -- dealers usually find something or other that they want to repair each time you take it in, and you always wonder if that work is really needed. My car is running great so I don't really think work is needed right now. There are just a few minor points why I am not giving this place 5 stars: --They aren't open Saturdays. I always have to get work done on workdays which sometimes is a little inconvenient. --They don't have some amenities such as loaner cars that you can get from dealers (but I'd much rather have the better service described above than a loaner car). --The prices for oil changes are a little on the high side. I think it's worth it for the level of service received, but it is still worth noting that they are more expensive than most other places where you would get an oil change. I have not had any need for major repairs from Mazcare, so I can't really fully review all aspects of the service yet. read more

It's been 2 years since my last review so I figured I should update this one. Guess what? These guys are still freaking awesome. My Mazda 6 has a taste for wheel bearings, so I brought it back to Mazcare for another replacement. The guys thoroughly inspected the rest of my car, and knowing that I'm handy with a wrench simply gave me a laundry list of items they suggest I replace soon. I had been struggling for a few weeks trying to get the check engine light off and my car running smooth again. I changed a sensor and had a mechanic friend look into the problems, but we couldn't seem to get things right. I called and explained my situation to Charlie and he already had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done. I brought it in and within a few hours they diagnosed the problem and had it fixed. If you have to get something fixed to pass emissions, they will fix the problem and then run your car through the drive cycle needed to pass. They guarantee that your car is ready and will pass! When I had a third Gen rx7 I knew that Mazcare was the best place in the south east for having work done. I'm a DIY guy so it took a while for me to have a situation where I needed them. I wish there were 10 stars for Mazcare. I was looking for someone to tighten down the convertible top and stopped at Mazcare to see if they knew somebody that worked on Mazda tops. Charlie said "let me look at it", he did and said I can fix it for you. He got his tools and tightened the latch, it's good as new. He ask me if I had been hearing it rattle. I told him not from the top but there was a loud rattle in the dashboard and I couldn't find where it was coming from. He said, I just fixed it for you. I had been looking everywhere on the dashboard for the rattle, and it was the convertible top latch. Four bolts had fallen out of the latch and that was the rattle. He fixed the latch and it stopped the rattle. If he knows how to fix something like the I can only assume Mazcare is THE place to take a Mazda for anything from rattles to replacing a motor or transmission. No more searching for the best Mazda repair shop, Mazcare has to be the best in the world. Thanks Mazcare, you get my highest rating,. I've had my 3rd Gen RX7 for 23 years. Only two shops I've let touch it in 20 years. One is in Pennsylvania. The other is Mazcare right here in Atlanta. And, given the age of the car, it's not usually something that is straightforward. These guys have the technical prowess, communication skills and knowledge of local resources (welders, A/C specialists, etc.) to address any problem I've presented them with and fix it right the first time, at a very reasonable cost. I'd highly recommend them without hesitate, and often do -- even to the Uber drivers when they pick me up/drop me off if it's needed for the day. read more
