After 2 failed attempts at other dealers, I ran across IQ Autos via Autotrader. They happened to have the exact car I was looking for: package I wanted, exterior color, interior color, etc. By this point in my process I was super skeptical so I took to yelp and saw they had great reviews so I went ahead and gave them a call! I ended up getting Tony who gave me all the information I needed and invited me out to the lot for a test drive. I showed up close to closing hours and he went ahead and had me take the car on an overnight test drive. This worked out perfectly because I was able to drive it to work and make sure that driving an electric car was actually going to work for my commute. It actually ended up easing my anxiety a bit. He didn't rush me to make any decisions, worked with me on my trade, and even got me a better interest rate with one of his contacts than I was able to get through my credit union. I went in with my guard up and Tony ended up exceeding all expectations and making this process much better than I could have imagined. Even though I did not buy a car from them, I was really impressed with how helpful Tony was, I asked a lot of questions, he was very accommodating and very friendly, made the process very easy. I was prequalified so there was no financial stress. Buyer Beware!!! on the purchase of a replacement Mercedes Benz in the year 12/2017 I left IQ Autos with a pretty Red Benz with a Branded Title. Now I tried to resolve this issue on my own but the simple solution was for (Tony) just to buy the car back back for my balance because nobody wanted the car because of the branded title which i knew nothing about. It's not the next deal if this hurdle had been cleared i would have been straight. I'm a German car guy; always have been. I've bought 2 BMWs from IQ and have always been impressed beyond belief - my local mechanic has said on both occasions "wait this car isn't new?" First off, they are really particular about which cars they buy/sell. Look at their site - they find gems that still have a lot of factory warranty left which get you an amazing bang for your buck. Like a 2 year old M3 or M5 for less than 1/2 original sticker and 3 years of warranty remaining? Yep, they get 5 of those a month. If you are a BMW person, which I am, talk to these guys as they know a ton about everything they sell. Great prices, great people, great cars. Seriously, before you go to Ellis or Nalley, stop by and check this place out. I am still working on convincing the wife that I need an M5 to do daycare runs. OK; so if you're reading this review there's a chance you're not sure what to expect of a small dealership that's not affiliated with a specific marque or franchised in some way. And you also aren't sure if reviews are legit or not, right? Well, I was the same way initially, but after my experience I can tell you I LOVE this place and these guys are awesome! Matt and Tony were who I dealt with primarily, but everyone here was friendly and there was absolutely no pressure. And if I didn't know any better, I'd have sworn I was at a BMW dealer in terms of their product knowledge - these guys know BMWs like the back of their hand. I had been shopping for weeks for a late-year pre-owned X5 diesel, and stumbled on a 2012 model at IQ Autos after doing a search on Cars.com. I checked out IQ's website and everything seemed pretty simple and up-front, so I made sure I was there the minute they opened the next morning. The SUV was in great condition, had every option I wanted (as well as few more I was happy to have), and it still had that new BMW smell to it. I took it for a drive and definitely felt comfortable with the car, but I was still a little unsure about this new experience; but Matt told me everything about the vehicle's history that they had, and since there was still 1 1/2 years of manufacturer warranty remaining (I confirmed this w/a local BMW dealer), that pretty much eliminated any hesitation I had. They made a fair deal with me on my trade as well as the X5, and although it took about a week for me to finally commit, there was zero pressure and - more importantly - zero BS. And the service after the sale has been outstanding as well. I just wish I would have found this place 3 years ago - but I can guarantee that I'll be back when it comes time for my next car. 3/15/16 UPDATE: The title to our 640Ci is NOT branded (!) Carfax still accurately displays the lemon status, I am told, but the title proves to be OK. Thanks to IQ for returning my post and helping get to the factual status. ORIGINAL 2/21/16 (edited): Please beware that "manufacturer buyback" = "lemon". My wife and I understood from the start that our soon-to-be car was purchased by IQ at a "buyback" auction. Having thought I would keep the car for a long while, the car's history did not concern me. Now with an ailing mother-in-law for which to care, and needing a 4-door vehicle, I have found that dealers are unwilling to trade the vehicle for a reasonable trade-in value due to its history. Upon my learning the unfortunate reality, IQ said they would trade the vehicle from us but were only able to offer 77% of the purchase price only 6 months later because "...between the buyback status and your having owned the car for less than a year, we are concerned about our ability to sell it." The car is great and the experience was good, just be sure to understand the realities of your new car's trade-in value due to its history. read more
