This provided my husband and I with a peace of mind that you do not typically get when buying a used car. About two weeks later, there was an issue with the drive train. My husband brought the truck in for assessment and Corey ensured that the problem was fixed at no cost or hit to the warranty, since he had just made the purchase. That is what I call excellent customer service. Corey not only takes pride in ensuring that the cars he sells are good quality, but does the right thing if something goes wrong and that says a lot about his character. For context my wife and I were in Atlanta for a week and hoped to buy a Honda Odyssey for our growing family during that time. I had spent hours looking at dozens of Odysseys, and had a spreadsheet with 5 or 6 that were worth a look. Then my wife came across Johnny's site on CRAIGS LIST of all places. I called him Monday morning and explained what we were looking for in a car. It was very clear from that conversation that Johnny knew a significant amount about the industry, and even more importantly about the Odyssey itself. This put me at ease immediately. Ten minutes after we got off the phone, and before I had even sent the deposit (he does require a refundable deposit to show that you are serious), he had already sent me a car that fit my criteria. After mulling it over for a bit, we decided to buy it by Monday afternoon. We had had the opportunity to look at a few other options from my spreadsheet in the meantime, but none really fit the billing. Once we decided to buy the car, that's where Johnny's service really shone through. Johnny started sending videos of the entire process - his initial once over, interior, exterior, and all the little details. He noted the very minor defects, and also the outstanding features (there were many). I received videos of him test driving the car in the rain, on the highway, testing various features from air conditioning to alignment. He sent me a video of the engine bay, including his assessment of all the engine components. He even put the car on a lift and sent a video of the undercarriage, showing no leaks whatsoever and no rust. All in all, I felt like I really knew the car despite not putting hands on it. Furthermore, Johnny is not pushy. When I asked about various maintenance items, Johnny actually checked for potential issues and multiple times told me the car "doesn't need that", saving me additional money. It felt like the opposite of the classic salesman trying to sell you a useless extended warranty. When I asked him if the car could be ready before we left town, he and his mechanic (shoutout to Nick) stayed late at the shop to get the car finished (I did have a timing belt put on as part of routine recommended maintenance). The best part was the windshield. After I had signed the paperwork to buy the car "as is" including any defects, Johnny discovered a chip in the windshield hidden under a sticker and told me he would take care of it for no extra cost to me. THAT is why he is so great. He goes above and beyond, and he not only says he wants the best car for you - he actually makes it happen. You see, Johnny is not just a broker trying to push cars on customers. He wants you to have the perfect car, and goes the extra mile or two to ensure customer satisfaction. We got lucky by buying the first car he shared with me - (it can take up to two weeks for him to find the perfect car for you). All in all, it took 60 hours from the first phone call to the car pickup. Just incredible. After driving the car for a bit, I took a whiff of the engine bay - and it literally smelled perfect like a new car. Odysseys are known for VCM issues that cause oil leaks and oil burning in the engine, and this car very clearly was not burning oil because there was no smell. This was just the cherry on top. Johnny, we are so grateful for you, and we will be sending everyone we can your direction. Oh, and we will definitely be back for the 12 seater van once we have 8 kids haha :)
