Upon taking the car to the dealership I was told that the engine was completely gone and that the car was totaled and I needed to pay to get it fixed from the accident so they could resale it. I do not believe that was legal. They then traded that car out for a different car refusing to refund the down payment. The second car that I got from them the check engine light came on within 48 hours of me leaving the lot. I have been to the dealership multiple times called and text no repairs have been made the one that was failed and the engine light came right back on. This lot and dealership is heavy on the fraud side. I believe they are turning engine lights off and messing with odometer readings. Would not recommend

While the vehicle was sold "as-is," I believe customers should still be treated honestly and fairly regarding major mechanical defects. I attempted to resolve the issue professionally with the dealership before pursuing further action. Buyers should strongly consider having any vehicle thoroughly inspected independently before purchasing from this dealership. This was an extremely stressful and expensive experience, and I would not personally recommend purchasing a vehicle here based on my experience.

During that time, I was not provided with clear updates or proper documentation. When I finally picked the car up, I was told everything had been fixed. However, I was not given a repair invoice or any detailed proof of the work completed, despite asking. Within just 3 days of driving the vehicle, the same issues returned -- jerking, loss of power, and difficulty reversing -- making the car unsafe to drive. I then took the vehicle to a certified dealership, where I was informed the car now needs a full transmission replacement costing around $6,000. When I reached back out to 1st Choice Automotive, they refused to take responsibility and stated they had already fixed the issue, but still could not provide proper documentation of the repair.
