My decision was based on several factors: 1. The vehicle was the most realistic of the 3, being in the best shape, the maintenance history, and the model. 2. I also chose based on the reviews from this dealer. 3. My salesrep Zak and the owner Sam (and all the employees) are good and honest people. 4. Price and quality with ability to purchase a warranty. I haven't bought a used vehicle at a dealership in many years, and this experience was top-rated. My salesrep Zak was friendly, professional and most of all HONEST. I won't go into too much detail here yet I must state that anyone buying a used car from a dealership (as is) should know that there are no guarantees. You should very thoroughly research the vehicle you are looking to buy beforehand so you will know if there are known issues. Zak and I discussed the pros and cons of vehicle (I was already very familiar with my vehicle as I had bought only this truck for the past 30 years. The truck had everything I needed except for one option, and so we negotiated having that option installed by the dealer, which they did, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and the quality of integrity these folks showed. Before buying here I looked at their reviews and while almost all were 5 star, there were a few "unsatisfied" customers, and I noted they were almost all from reviewers who obviously didn't do their research. That inspection uncovered THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in work the vehicle needed. Instead of taking responsibility for the condition of the vehicle and working with me to address the documented issues, John refused to cover the necessary repairs. After I had already invested my own money into discovering what was actually wrong with the car, the games started. I was then told there was another buyer in Alabama, which certainly appeared to be an attempt to pressure me into moving forward despite the results of the PPI. Apparently that strategy didn't work very well, because BOTH buyers ultimately walked away from the vehicle. Think about that. Two serious buyers. One of them paid for an independent PPI. The inspection identified thousands of dollars in needed work. Neither buyer bought the car. I wasted weeks of my time dealing with this dealership and spent my own money having their vehicle professionally inspected, only to find out exactly why an independent inspection is so important. If you're considering buying a vehicle here, DO NOT skip the PPI. Do not allow yourself to be pressured by claims that another buyer is waiting in the wings. Have the vehicle inspected by a qualified independent shop, get everything in writing, and make your decision based on what the inspection tells you--not what the salesman tells you. I did exactly that. And I walked away. So did the other buyer.
