The car had a hard start up sound, so I went and had the oil changed. By wednesday 08/21, I had to pay $150.00 for a new chip key. The key stopped working and the alarm would not turn off. By 08/23, I had to buy a new battery for $250.00. On 08/31 (my birthday) the car sounded like it didn't have any oil and the gears were grinding. I texted the Fake finance/warranty number which is a Google Number and let them know that the car was not drivable and needed to be towed. They towed it to another car lot (undisclosed), which I believe is owned by the same company. I gave them the key. The sales person met me on monday 09/02 to get my belongings. Then had the nerve to say for another $500 they could put me in another car...LOL you must be out of your rabbit arse mind. Then finance/warranty text me that if I didn't pay $1100 they would repo the truck. You can't repo a vehicle that doesn't have an ENGINE. They sent threatening text at which time, I was reminded by my attorney, that even the though their is no LEMON LAW on a used car, the car had not been titled in my name. So I contacted the TAG office and this was confirmed. I also dropped insurance coverage on the vehicle. THEY ARE SCAMMERS and should be CLOSED.

Excellent and quick no nonsense service. I walked in got the deal done! I had to order my new car and they worked it all out with my trade in. My new car was ready in 4 weeks! I am so appreciative of this dealership and the excellent service!! The dealership is very clean & everyone has a smile on their face! It is conveniently located next to restaurants and some retail shopping if you need to wait for a bit.

I found a vehicle on their website that I was interested in. On that note, their website was awesome. There were multiple pictures on the website and all the information I needed on the vehicle. Along with clear pricing for that specific vehicle. Super easy to navigate. I responded on the internet expressing my interest late one night. The next morning bright and early I had a response giving me information and asking if and when I would like to come test drive the vehicle. After a few email exchanges I asked about a drive out price and was given that before I ever got there. I went over with my husband to check out the vehicle. The sales manager, Jason Brown, came out to greet us and let us know he was there to help. Our sales advisor was Kernell Hunt and he is a rockstar. He's very calm and listens to you. He asked if we wanted to do the test drive alone or have him join us. We opted to go alone. Then came the monkey wrench. I went over to test drive a demo car with an amazing price on it. While walking around the lot I saw a car that I said would be the car I would really love. The price difference was hefty because it was a car with an executive and m sport package on it. My husband encouraged me to test drive it. To make a long story short, that is the car I ended up buying. But I couldn't decide that day which car I wanted to buy. Kernell said he understood. There was zero pressure. He told me when he would be at the dealership and just told me to let him know my decision. Super chill. But very helpful. I ended up buying the more expensive car that was not a demo. In spite of that they gave me an aggressive price on the car. The amount they offered me for my trade in was very fair. A few days after my purchase I went over to get some tips and guidance on my new car. The technology has changed great from my 2016 BMW that I traded in. Kernell spent time going over features with me. He did a great job. Then Bryan Albrecht, the BMW Genius came out and spent time with me making sure I knew all of the cool things the car could do. I would have spent hours watching videos to learn what he taught me in 30 minutes. I loved that he spent time just showing me things my car would do that I don't know if I would ever have figured out. Bryan was amazing and so patient as he showed me things. I would highly spending time with him if he is available. You will benefit from it greatly. It was a great experience. And as someone that recently helped my mother buy a car, that isn't always the case. Great job Nalley BWM. I will be back.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Decatur Auto Tech, and I feel it's important to share…read more I brought in my 2008 Mazda Miata for a few specific issues, including a non-working cigarette lighter. I was quoted $90 for a basic adapter--far above normal pricing. After I questioned it, they agreed to reduce the charge by $60, but only knocked off $30 in the final bill. More frustratingly, part of the reason I agreed to the repair was their assurance that it would restore connectivity to my stereo. It didn't. When I brought this to their attention, their response was dismissive and unprofessional--essentially telling me "tough luck," with no attempt to stand by their work. They also performed services I never explicitly authorized, and only informed me of a $60 increase in the cooling fan price after the work had begun--leaving me with no meaningful opportunity to make an informed decision. What's worse, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being taken advantage of as a woman. The way I was spoken to, disregarded, and overcharged raised red flags that I believe many women will unfortunately recognize. It was condescending and exploitative. Between the inconsistent pricing, unauthorized work, failed repairs, and dismissive behavior, I left feeling unheard and taken advantage of. I won't be returning--and I urge others, especially women, to proceed with caution.

** 1/5 -- BEWARE!**…read more Decatur Auto Tech is the definition of a **rip-off shop**. I took my daughter's car in for an A/C issue -- an issue they had supposedly "fixed" not long ago. The car should've been under warranty, but they still tried to charge a **$75 diagnostic fee**. When I called them out on it, their **clueless front desk guy** awkwardly agreed to waive it. Spoiler: it was STILL on the final invoice. They kept the car overnight and then **called my daughter LATE at night** -- not even me -- to tell her the cabin filter needed replacing. When I followed up the next day, I was hit with a quote of **$290**. For what? Here's the breakdown: - $75 diagnostic fee (that was supposed to be waived) - $90 for a cabin filter (you can buy a good one for $20!) - $40 for two cans of freon - $160 in labor What makes it worse? **They did this same exact job the first time for $120.** How do you go from $120 to $290 for the SAME issue? This place is shady, dishonest, and clearly **preys on people who don't know much about cars** -- or who send their daughters in hoping for honest service. After reading more reviews, it's obvious I'm not alone. This place **thrives on deception** and **overcharges for basic work**. **Avoid Decatur Auto Tech like the plague.** They're not mechanics -- they're scammers in uniforms.

I've received multiple calls asking for additional information, and each time I've promptly submitted everything requested. However, I keep being told the dealership never received my documents. Now, I've been sent yet another link to upload the same information I've already submitted multiple times. At this point, the process has been nothing but a headache--and I haven't even started the actual car buying process yet. Communication and internal coordination seem to be seriously lacking. If you're considering going through this process, I'd strongly recommend saving yourself the frustration and just going directly to a Kia dealership instead.

The under carriage of the car is so rusted that the shop can't get the bolts off to fix my car. I've called DriveTime, Customer Relations and the warranty company. I've got nothing but the runaround. I've had to miss work due to no vehicle. I was told by the warranty company that I would be reimbursed for a rental car or uber. It's hell getting a rental and Uber is expensive. I asked for another vehicle due to the rust under the car and was told I should've returned it within the 7 day grace period. No accountability, poor customer service, poor follow through. I've sent pictures of the under carriage to them and was told the regional manager would reach out and it's been days with no response. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THEM WITHOUT GETTING A DIAGNOSTIC CHECK THE SAME DAY!
