If I could give this dealership negative stars, I would. I am a 21-year-old college student who worked incredibly hard to save enough money to buy my car. This wasn't just another purchase to me--it was one of the biggest financial decisions I've ever made. I trusted this dealership, and that trust was completely misplaced. LESS THAN 24 hours immediately after purchasing my BMW X3, the problems started. Check engine lights, drivetrain warnings, a major coolant leak, repeated trips to BMW, towing bills, and repair after repair. Instead of enjoying the car I had worked so hard for, I was left constantly worrying when it would break down again. I went to the dealer over 12+ times (documented as well) to try and resolve this issue and they took advantage of the fact I was a first time young female buyer, to not repair what they promised me including the damages they did the times they "repaired" my car (they never did they just kept my car to make it seem like it was fixed). They kept dismissing me and the let the one month mark go by. As if that wasn't enough, the dealership charged me for my tag and registration but NEVER submitted the paperwork. I later discovered it had never been filed, and I had to go to the tag office myself and pay out of pocket a second time just to get my vehicle legally registered. That should have never happened. And they tricked me into having my emissions passed but it never passed until weeks after buying the vehicle. The most disappointing part was the owner's response (Omar). Rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, I was told, "You only paid $17,000 for the car." As if spending $17,000 somehow means I should expect a vehicle full of serious mechanical problems. To a 21-year-old full time college student, $17,000 is not "only" anything. It's years of hard work, saving, and sacrifice. Hearing that after everything I'd already been through was EXTREMELY insulting and incredibly dismissive. Not once did I feel like anyone cared about the financial burden or stress this experience caused me. Instead of standing behind the vehicle they sold or making things right, I was met with excuses and indifference. This dealership had no problem taking my money, but when it came time to take responsibility, they disappeared. If this is how they treat a young customer making one of the biggest purchases of their life, I can't imagine how they treat anyone else. Please save yourself the stress, the money, and the regret. Have any vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic before buying, double-check every document they promise to file, and seriously consider taking your business somewhere that values honesty and accountability. Unfortunately they added about 4k worth of add ons on top of their posted price and I was only able to haggle them down to 2k ABOVE asking price. When I received the car I realized the had not disclosed that there was a seatbelt not working (is that even legal?) as well as the adaptive cruise was not working. Reached out multiple times requesting they cover it but suddenly they became completely non responsive. Bought a 2018 BMW X50I, They gave wonderful customer service when purchasing the car. Then came time to talk price, The car was listed at 22,949 but they came back the price ballooned to 26549 due to LoJack (which I did not ask for), Ceramic coating (again not asked for) which none of these was disclosed up front and dealers fees. When I drove off the lot and made it to the highway less than 20 miles away, while accelerating the car stalled and violently pulled to the right. When I spoke to the dealership they said for me to bring it back only for them to say I needed an 2 O2 sensors and a turbo coolant and that was another $1458 to fix. (I haven't had the car a week) I agreed to let them fix it at the 1458 Price and waited 3 days to get it back only to be quoted a new price of 1714 as they had to do extra work that no one called to authorize. while pick up the vehicle and voicing my displeasure with how I have been treated I was told "it's not my fault you are having buyer remorse" This dealership needs to be investigated and closed as they sell people cars that they know are not ready to be put on the road and they do not offer a warranty. they also do not disclose all of the cost associated with the Vehicle (outside of the dealer fees) read more

I was provided 3 videos of the car that I purchased. It appeared to be in excellent condition- upon delivery the hardtop convertible had two large dents on both the drivers side and on the passenger side and damage on the rear bumper NOT visible in the videos. The transportation company delivery experience was chaotic , harrowing and dangerous. The delivery driver advised via text he did not want to drive into our townhome neighborhood . I offered two alternative safe parking lots nearby- both ignored by the driver. Instead he chose to drop my newly purchased car in the right turn lane of a busy 4 lane state highway. Literally the WORST possible location. I was standing in traffic directing cars around me who were trying to turn right. I pointed out the damages that I was seeing- All denied by the transport company. In addition I have copies of text messages between the salesman, ( Alen) confirming that the vehicle has two key fobs yet only on key fob was provided. After 5 days waiting for a response from Chad of Automax Atlanta here's what he said: "After reviewing the images of the before and after. The existing damage was present in both. The keys we sent you are all that we have." BUYER BEWARE: My bad for purchasing online and trusting the videos provided by Automax Atlanta. Overall- a very disappointing outcome. I expect some sort of assistance such as an offer to reimburse me for Paintless Dent Repair at a minimum and $200.00 for the 2nd key fob! We've never met a finance manager like him before!!! 1) He argued with us about the price of the vehicle, and MADE us (the customer) search for the car online to prove it to him. AUTOTRADER had their car listed for $49,976 and LYNNUS gave us the price of $52,977. He didn't know how to perform a simple search on Autotrader. Just incompetent LYNNUS!!! 2) LYNNUS also tried to sneak in an extra $1000 onto the price of the car (see screenshot) they already tried to scam us with their $52,977 price...but on the paper he typed up $53,977!!! Like we wouldn't notice the 1-digit differen that's a whole $1000!! Straight disrespectful!!! Upon analysis, I noticed the following dealer add-ons, which, by the way, are unscrupulous and illegal according to the FTC : Additional Equipment $999.00. When questioned, turned out to be a Lojack that is arbiterally added and is a $99.95 item on the web. $599 dealer fee , which they claimed "everyone has," also not true. I then received an Email stating the car has been sold - also not true. It's obvious that an informed and knowledgeable customer frightens them. Stay clear of this place ! read more

I was working with Shawn Motorwala over the past few days negotiating the purchase of a used 2015 Chevrolet Colorado LT. The photos shown on AutoTrader looked sharp, and the sticker price fit into the budget I was working with. The seller notes indicated "1 OWNER VEHICLE - PERFECT SHAPE - MUST SEE - EXCELLENT SHAPE - NON-SMOKER ***CLEAN CARFAX*** WARRANTY". When I asked for the out the door price, they quoted $1942 more than the sticker. When I asked about the difference, he asked me where I got my price from. After I told him AutoTrader, he admitted they had added Advantage Care package without my consent. I asked them to remove it. Interested in the vehicle, I worked with Bank of America to secure financing and then drove an hour to see the truck. The truck was definitely not as advertised. It was not in perfect, excellent shape and they were selling as-is with no warranty. I did not get a good "gut feeling" while on the lot, so I decided to follow my instincts and pass on this opportunity. I followed up with Shawn over text message after making the decision: (for your review) ---- Me: Hey Shawn.... just FYI... I've decided to purchase a different truck. Thanks again for all your assistance. I appreciate your help. Shawn: Wow Really thanks all the waste. Of your time and mine Me: Very professional Shawn. Why didn't I read the reviews before driving over two hours for a used car from this Automax Atl? Disingenuous at best Pre-approved and told me my lender was asking 25% after running six hard inquires on my credit, unauthorized. Chad Redford, current manager, tried to add almost $2000 extra for clear coat and LoJack which I didn't ask for and don't need. Then Chad said he would remove the clear coat and take off some from my trade in he'd already given me. These guys are interested in one thing, money. They don't care about the customer or getting the right car or doing the right thing. Josh was my salesman and never said once about the added charges. I told Josh specifically I had voucher and wanted to go with certain lender and never authorized any other credit checks with other lenders. Why would I? And then Chad Redford said my lender offered 25%. That's unheard of! And I have good credit. When I asked to see the information from my lender, of course, it was not 25% and it was what I was pre-approved for. How can Chad just present offers that are total lies? The dealership was decent at responding to my questions and getting the photos and videos initially while trying to purchase the car. Once I've sent in the check, that's when the communications stopped. No one would answer questions on whether the inspection was completed, whether the check was received, when the car would be shipped out or when it would be delivered. Finally I get a response that the car would be delivered on Thursday. On Wednesday evening, I get an email for a cancellation of purchase without any notice or any other information. I promptly call the salesman, who tells me he is off work and will call the next morning when the car was supposed to be delivered? I am very confused so I contact the manager who sends me directly to voice mail (Phone rang once then went straight to voice mail). Later I get in contact with the manager who informs me that they actually do not have the title to the vehicle I've purchased, nor do they know when they'd receive it. The title that they have, the signature is signed on the wrong spot and it will take months before it could be rectified. They never called, emailed, texted me nor my wife during the whole ordeal and cancelled the deal without contacting me after I've sent the check out. read more

This week the vehicle was taken to the local Toyota dealer for service. There corrosion of the frame of such great severity was discovered that they recommend the vehicle not be driven. Mr Motowala and the Automax dealership basically have hung up the phone after being informed of this fact. They refuse to do the right thing in any way of warranty or adjustments. My experience with AutoMax was amazing. Ms. Nicole, Bradley and Lionel showed great customer service and they stayed true too their words. I noticed my breaks were squealing and I was smelling Antifreeze from the air conditioner. Lionel asked me to bring the car back and they repaired both free of charge. I can't say enough about this team. They made sure I left with a smile on my face and laughter in my heart. I know that there has been several bad reviews and I almost stopped the sale. They even put old oil in for my oil change they promised. My mechanic checked it and it was black and cruddy when it came out. The car had actually been in a wreck and you could see the differences in paint and the sloppy work putting the bumper back on. Car fax showed it clean. Car we came to saw was what we expected but the car dealers had little regard for the customer. 0 customer parking available and we were handed off to a different dealer than the one our appointment was with. The car was nice but ended up trying to charge 1500 more than advertised (as expected to be fair) but negotiations were especially horrible. We made it clear what our highest offer was and our time was wasted by constant trips back and forth to "confer with the manager". Never received a counter offer within 1500 of the advertised price. Wasted time! Had an appointment with the dealer well in advance and yet still had to wait nearly 30 minutes after we arrived to even see the car because someone else had the keys. I bought a car from them a couple of years ago, and I found out later on that the car has been involved in multiple accidents on all sides of the car. They showed me that it had a "clean car fax" so don't go off on that! They told me it would take 2 days to prepare the car and change new brakes from "Toyota". *Odometer Fraud* Felony in GA. I called about a 2008 Lexus that was listed on Auto Trader (as well as their website) as having 125k miles. Detailed pictures of the car from their website (as well as Auto Trader) indicate "125,161" miles on the actual odometer of the car itself. However, the car fax report clearly indicates this car went well past that mileage back in 2016, with it being sold at Auction in 2020 with over 202,000 miles on it. Automax Atlanta is selling the car with 125k miles two years later? When I asked the salesperson about this he said, "The engine was replaced." When I asked why the engine replacement isn't listed on the Car Fax he said, "Engine replacement isn't listed on Car Fax reports". We all know it doesn't matter if the engine was replaced or not, tampering with odometer mileage is a felony. He didn't even try to deny the odometer was incorrect, just said it was due to an engine replacement. None of this was disclosed in their ad. The car is being sold as 125k original miles. Report this business to the authorities, they will investigate if enough people report them. read more
