They sent me 6 emails and screenshots with different amounts because they have poor record keeping. They were essentially making up numbers and shaking me down. I paid more in interest after the final payment then I did the duration of the loan. Plus I paid the loan off 2-3 payments early. Each time I questioned their bookkeeping the amount I owed increased. I paid them to get the title and get them out my hair but I would definitely not recommend them.

Not the review I wanted to write... Purchased a 2007 Mini Cooper from the husband and wife team…read more Was concerned that the car had high priced repairs that were needed. Wife assured me it did not. They showed me the output from the ODB scanner that showed everything was OK across the board. A day after taking the car home, with less than 50 miles driven, the engine light came on and the car started stalling out when idle. A visit to Mall of GA MINI revealed about $4000 (95% of the actual cost of the car purchase price!) of repairs that are immediately needed. Now, not getting a mechanic to look at the car before I purchased it is on me. But I can't believe that the owners had no idea these issues were present on the car when I purchased it. Beyond having to fork out double what I paid for the car for repairs, I'm just bummed out that this nice couple were not honest about the condition of the car when I purchased it. You are always suspect of used car salespeople, and these two unfortunately reinforced those suspicions.

Visited Paul's inventory as I saw a vehicle online there that I wanted to check out. Paul was…read moreupfront with me and allowed for me to test drive the car. No issues with the car but there was another on the lot that caught my eye so I test drove that one too. No issues either. Paul showed me the car fax for each vehicle I saw and there wasn't any oddities on the car fax. I didn't buy a car because I wanted my daughter to test drive as well. I came back in a week with my daughter and we test drove it. The price was just a little high for what we thought for the car as there was minor issues that could lead to bigger problems. So another car caught our eye this time and test drove it. Didn't see any major issues and Paul showed us the car fax too. It drove very well and shifted through each gear. Low miles for a 11 yo car. We worked out a deal and purchased it. No high pressure sales or high pressure to purchase warranty. Finance guy was helpful and very nice as well. Only been a few days but no issues. Love this car

On 5/23/25 my son purchased a used 2015 VW GTI from Georgia Car Company.... within a week of…read morepurchasing said vehicle, he started having issues with it. First - the car was missing a lug bolt on the front driver wheel (safety issue). That part had to be purchased at the local VW dealership here in Athens for $20.57 (including the tax) Second - when doing an inspection of the vehicle, it was found that the vehicle needed all 4 tires replaced due to the tires "cupping". Called GCC and they said they replaced 2 tires, yet have never supplied the proof where they had the tires replaced and the vehicle pre-sale inspection done - even after multiple times saying it would be provided to me. Third - the hood lift support struts are bad... he had to replace those. $20.89 including tax Fourth - the right side (passenger) mirror fell off the dang car... just the mirror itself, not the entire part. $15.76 including tax Fifth - the ECM light came on, he took it to the dealership (yet again) and they replaced the spark plugs, which I didn't mind covering that cost as it would have been a "maintenance issue", however that did not fix the issue - car is currently at the dealership trying to figure out what is wrong. Keep in mind.... HE HAS NOT EVEN MADE THE FIRST PAYMENT ON THIS VEHICLE YET...

This program is a huge financial risk and honestly feels like a money grab…read more The insurance provided is state minimum coverage. Even if the other driver's insurance accepts full liability, you are still required to pay the deductible--either $500 or $2,000, depending on the plan you chose. I strongly advise against the $2,000 option. Once you report any damage to the vehicle (which you are required to do within 48 hours), Flex immediately bills the deductible. If it's not paid right away, they will repossess the vehicle. If you're considering Flexcar, be prepared to have the following funds available at all times: -Monthly payment averaging $780+ with taxes -Accident deductible of $500 or $2,000 (If you're in an accident during the trial and can't afford all required fees--such as the deductible, membership fee, and swap fee--you risk losing your initial payment. And having the vehicle repo. The fees can total over $1,300 within just two weeks. If you opt for the $500 insurance plan) -Vehicle swap fee of about $180 -Membership fee of about $249 after the two week( billed once a year) -Limited mileage, which adds more pressure -No grace period for payments. When you add all of this up, if you have this level of money to give Flexcar, you would be far better off saving for a down payment on a traditional lease and carrying your own insurance. In my opinion, Flexcar is not worth the financial risk.

The delivery was smooth. A bus backed into me while I was parked, so no fault of my own. I went through the claims process to the letter and had to pay the $1000 deductible. They said I would get it back, and a year later they are still not taking any accountability for the process. Stick with a legacy rental car company.
