    Advertised and agreed upon price

Changed the price between verbal agreement as well as advertised price and invoice. Didn't add deposit to the invoice until lender found the problem, this greatly delayed shipping. $700 documentation fee for them to screw up the actual documents. I'm sure I got screwed on the taxes as well, but who knows? At first I thought it was a simple mistake, but the pattern starts to create thoughts of intentional fraud. You'll have no idea when or if your vehicle will actually ship unless you constantly harass the dealer on the phone. Don't be an idiot like me and read every line very closely. It's easy to click through their signing app. A $1200 life lesson in shady auto dealer contracts.

Stay FAR Away - Shady & Unprofessional Business Practices If I could give this dealership zero stars, I would. I negotiated a deal on a Porsche Taycan and initially declined the non-refundable deposit, meaning the car was still on the market. On 2/1, I got approved for an auto loan and finalized the purchase with a SIGNED contract of sale--including my name, the agreed-upon price, and the car's details--making it officially sold to me. After that, their incompetence became glaring. I requested the necessary title application for my bank, and their clueless title clerk repeatedly sent the wrong forms, delaying my loan processing. Despite their mistakes, I remained patient and kept pushing forward. On 2/6, after finally getting my bank's approval and confirming that they were overnighting the check, I texted the dealership to let them know I was ready to pay my full down payment. Their response? "Brother, car is sold." What?! The car was already sold to me on 2/1! This dealership blatantly disregards contracts, prioritizing financial gain over integrity. They wasted so much of my time, impacted my credit score, and I even paid out of pocket for a pre-inspection, which they claimed they'd refund--but, of course, I haven't seen a single cent. This place operates with zero professionalism and shady business practices. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere.

car broke down in the middle of the highway because of previous owner repair (according to Tesla).

Purchased a Tesla X plaid 2023 in October Part 1 - Promised there would be no issues with it. Since then I've been to Tesla 3 times with navigation issues that they can't resolve and basically works improperly. I called the owner (basim) with the issues (Navigation not working, chair doesn't move). In the beginning he answered with great customer service. He stated that he will compensate me for the delay in delivery as well as for the issues with the car and asked me to update him if Tesla can't figure it out. Since then he's been avoiding my calls, and doesn't return them. Very upsetting that a simple transaction would have to be escalated to legal and BBB complaints. Definitely do not recommend. Watch out for these lemon cars. End of the day - seemed to have hidden defects (some with effort to hide). Management seem to manage online presence, not customer satisfaction, fairness.

2024 Tesla Model X Plaid. From Georgia to Texas next to my 2023 Ford Lightning Lariat.

Excellent! I am in Texas and Drive A Dream had the best price for the year and mileage that I could find for a 2024 Tesla Model X Plaid. So I ordered it from them. This meant shipping it to Texas. Yes! This place is legitimate so do not stress about ordering your car from here and having it shipped to you. Now, be forewarned that the shipping may take some time. It's the shipping company and not Drive A Dream. So do not stress about it. If you have any questions definitely call or text them as they are very responsive and their assistance does not stop after the sale.

    Quote to fix it

Bought a 2023 Mercedes S580 from them and the first time it get rains on, water got inside the driver headlight And caused electrical damage. Took it to Mercedes and they will not warranty it because someone removed a pushpin from behind it causing water to get into it. this headlight and control module cost 5600 to replace. The dealership been giving me the run around for a month and an half and as of today issue still not resolved as they blaming Mercedes and Mercedes blaming them. I bought the extended warranty and no one is trying to cover this issue. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from this car lot. STAY AWAY.

Derrick This car dealership was thorough, sells premium cars and above all HONEST! DERRICK provides tip notch service and was amazing through our buying process. This is customer service at its highest and I would recommend Drive A Dream to anyone! Derrick is your guy!!

Original Review (10/13/2024): Bought a 2022 Mercedes S500 from them. Love the car so far, but overall experience with this dealership was horrible. Agreed to a deal on Monday (9/9), financing approved on Thursday (9/12), filled out paperwork early Friday morning (9/13). Was told everything is good to go, all paperwork complete and car just needs to be shipped to me (Texas). I was told the car would likely be picked up by shipping carrier the following Monday (9/16). I don't hear much from the dealer on Monday, or the following days. Finally, I get a call on Thursday (9/19) telling me there is more paperwork to be completed, and the a shipping carrier had STILL not been dispatched. This is one week after completing all paper work based on their word. I was obviously very upset by this and actually threatened to cancel the deal once in the process. The finance manager then promised to include something in the deal for me to compensate the trouble, which was also a false promise. Never received or heard anything about this. Typical dealership behavior after closing a deal. During the week, I called many times for an update and in one instance, the finance manager said he would get an update for me and call me back in 10 mins. Surprise, he never called back. Finally, 2 weeks after initially filling out paperwork, the car showed up at my house on Tuesday (9/24) afternoon. Was happy it showed up but I have to mention there was no heads up, nobody even told me it had been picked up or even gave me a phone call or text to let me know the car was on its way. The dealer did not even reach out to me until probably a week after I got the car. Lastly, it took them over 4 weeks to start the process to get the car registered. Just last week, they requested the state inspection be done and a copy of insurance be sent to them. Process was longer and much more complicated than it ever should have been. Additionally, they were not honest about the whole process and are pretty unorganized. I am grateful the car had no issues so far and showed up as described. I would never buy a car from them again, which is an absolute shame. We have bought ~9 cars in the last 6 years, I can say with 100% certainty that I would have given them my business multiple times in the future. I will avoid them now. UPDATE (11/25/2024): Caught a nail in one of the rear tires and had to be replaced. Unfortunately, it took this happening for me to notice they sold me a car with mismatched tires (Continentals on the front, Pirellis in the back). In what world does a dealership think it's okay to sell a luxury car with mismatched tires? Before updating this review, I spoke to Basim and he asked for receipts as replacing the tires to match cost me over $2k. Not only that, the continentals weren't even the same tires. One had been discontinued. It has now been 2 weeks since I spoke to him about this issue and to discuss the issues I've mentioned in this review, and he never got back to me. They have failed to make up for their mistakes at literally every chance I've given them. DO NOT buy a car from them.

Don't sell reconstructed titled vehicles. Mislead, especially for the price of a normal title.

Shortly after the purchase, the check engine light came on, along with serious issues related to the oil pump. These are not minor concerns--this is a major safety issue that could lead to engine failure. Despite bringing this to their attention multiple times, I've been given the runaround instead of real solutions. What's even worse is that while my car is still not properly fixed, CarMax Auto Finance continues to harass me with constant calls and messages about payments. How am I expected to confidently pay for a vehicle that is unreliable and unsafe? Customer service has been completely unhelpful. There is no accountability, no urgency, and no concern for the customer's safety or satisfaction. It feels like once they make the sale, they no longer care about what happens to you. I trusted CarMax to provide a reliable vehicle and a smooth buying experience, but instead I've been left stressed, inconvenienced, and stuck with a defective car. I would not recommend CarMax to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually stands behind their vehicles and treats customers with respect.

When I returned to the dealership and mentioned my budget, I was immediately shown other cars that were of NO interest to me. I expressed to the sales woman that I had another car to see that same day and would follow up with the dealership. Within a few hours, the saleswoman was calling and texting. Over the next few days we corresponded, I was encouraged to fill out the credit application as it would be a soft inquiry on my credit and that there were options available for financing. The saleswoman even went to the extent of texting me about an exciting opportunity for financing that was available!!! After settling in the vehicle and filling out the application, I had not heard back. Begrudgingly, I had to reach out to the eager saleswoman. (NOTE: Upon reaching out to the saleswoman I received an email from CarGurus stating that the car had been sold! Sold?!?! Why wasn't I notified??) I contacted the saleswoman and she proceeded with the following speech: " I was off the other day because I was having my monthly cramps but came in to deal with a customer. The finance manager said he'd contact you but now he's on vacation and when I went to the other sales manager just now, he said it's been sold. I didn't know! How else can I help you??" I read reviews and neglected to go with my gut on this one, especially after being approached by a green saleswoman trying to sell me an Audi when I was specifically there for the Camry. To add insult to injury, I received an update regarding my credit. The 'soft' inquiry that she claimed would be processed was NOT soft. It was in fact a 'hard' inquiry and would impact my credit score for the next 3 months!!! NOTE: It takes zero effort to be simple and uninformed, case and point.

Never had as many problems just trying to get a reasonably accurate estimate from any auto repair shop as this one. The process with four other shops I checked out for the same repairs using same description went smoothly, so not sure why it was so difficult for RNJ. Needed a simple headlight replacement, installation of a new combo meter (circuit board that displays speedometer and odometer), and a quote for an engine swap on a Prius. The woman who provided a two hour quote for the combo meter, Nancy J., didn't know what one was - which is understandable - but apparently couldn't be bothered to look it up. On July 15 promised to get me a quote on the engine swap the next day, then almost two weeks later (July 27) said still didn't have it. Rather than being somewhat apologetic for not following up as promised, her reply was seething with sarcasm. Things rarely turn out well, in my experience, when a company is this careless and puts someone who doesn't understand the fundamentals of customer service as your first point of contact. It's not uncommon for these companies to exercise poor judgment in other aspects of the business as well. Bottom line: Service leaves much to be desired and prices not very competitive. Too many shops out there who are eager to earn your business and extremely capable to put up with this level of carelessness and sarcasm. Is this shop better than a dealership as mentioned in several of the positive reviews? Sure. But that's setting the bar really low. [Note: Nancy edited her sarcastic comments out of the allegedly entire conversation in her response.
