Wow! What a surprise. Inca's falls into the "hole in the wall" category with maybe six or seven tables, but that has not stopped them from producing some amazing dishes. I had the Tallarin Saltado de Mariscos and the dish was fabulous. The mariscos included abundant shrimp, calamari rounds, and mussels, along with tomatoes, onions, red bell pepper, and green onions, of course mixed with tender pasta. This dish can readily serve two. My guest had the Tallarin Saltado de Carne, which was similar to the de Marisco dish, only with asada rather than seafood. It was a huge serving, with over half coming home for later. The table included the green peruvian ahi sauce and some warm bread rolls. The sauce was nice and spicy and the rolls were slightly toasted and served hot. The bread helped mop up the outstanding sauce on the mariscos dish. Of course, Inca Cola was available and a great accompaniment to Tallarin Saltado. Prices are flat out amazing and late lunch service on a Sunday was spot on. The food and table service warrant 5 stars, but the business practice of charging a 4% fee to use the credit card is downright shameful. If this fee was disclosed, it was clearly not obvious. Inca needs to modernize and build their credit card use costs into their overhead cost. What's next, a table cleaning fee, a salt and pepper fee, a dishwashing fee?

So it's been awhile since I've had some good lomo saltado , and it's been quite a few times I passed through upland and seen this spot here idk how long it's been here but I've never noticed it , I usually go west for Lomo Covina/LA area so today I stopped through upon arriving I was helped instantly the lady up front was very nice and helpful I wanted some chicken but they didn't have any today they said this weekend forsure no biggie I mainly came for the Lomo .... It's a nice little spot forsure gram fit a group of 8 in there as well as 4 other groups of 4 also .. so it's kinda roomy so now let me get to the main part I finally finished my meal and I won't lie I'm a little upset , it didn't hit like I thought it would ... the green sauce was off a little something was missing the white rice seemed like wet still basically , I'm assuming it needed to be cooked more ? Idk but over all the lomo plate was a solid 5/10 ... my ratings are based off everything else but yeah will I rush back here again no will I try it another time and give it a shot and maybe today was just one of those days yes I will , but don't let this stop you from trying it out !

We ate lunch here on a Tuesday around 1:45pm. The restaurant is in a strip mall right next to a Baskin Robbins and a donut shop alongside a Brandon's Diner. Very small restaurant but you definitely get a South american vibe by the decor and the tv programs that play. The waiter we had was nice and checked on us frequently. My girl had the lomo saltado. That is by far the most popular dish at any Peruvian restaurant we have been so I wanted to get something I hadn't really seen before. I elected to get a beef and ulloco stir fry. I don't recall the proper name so I don't want to butcher it on here. My dish was very well seasoned, in fact, the rice itself was a bit on the salty side. I did finish it however. The Lomo was decent, not the best we have had but a worthy rendition indeed. 3.50 for a can of soda is a bit on the expensive side without refills. Portions are huge so you won't leave hungry that's for sure. Glad we gave it a try.

Cozy little restaurant. Clean and well lit. Service was really attentive but not over bearing. I ordered the Tuca Tuca. Essentially grilled steak, tomato, and onion seasoned just like Lomo Saltado, but over rice and white beans instead of fries. The plate was huge and very flavorful. I could eat this everyday. Price was very fair considering quality of food and portion size. Highly recommended!

Service was fine....food is another story...we had Lomo Saltado and Pollo Saltado....beef was dry and super tough....Pollo was boiled and tough....rice wasnt cooked properly either....we kept trying but after eating a few bites we gave up. Items were $18 each. Paid our bill with zero tip and left the food on the table looking as of we hadnt touched it. I've had the best Lomo Saltado out there and this dish was horrible here. It seems they just dont get it after so many bad reviews stating same issue....chewy meat isnt something I want to pay for. Also there was a family of 4 that left just as we were ordering and their plates were maybe half eaten.....I wondered....I'd say your cooking needs work... read more

Absolutely delicious! I can't remember what I ordered but it was recommended by the server, it had chicken onions tomatoes with rice and rice and the flavor was delicious. Staff was friendly and nice and even went over the menu because it was our first time there. Will for sure be back again to either get the same thing or try something new but absolutely worth going to. read more

My Peruvian family and I got the following: Lomo Saltado: 1/5 - meat was tough no flavor in the juice/jugo, vegetables were raw and not cooked. Ceviche: 0/5 - used frozen maybe 1 small loin of tilapia which was extremely tough and flavorless. Tacu Tacu: 1/5 SOUPY, not done right whatsoever. Maracaya: 1/5 watered down heavily. I passed by this restaurant a couple times and finally tried it. I had the Lomo Saltado & it was really good. The food was hot & the plantains were amazing! So soft and sweet. I have my experience 4 stars because the beef seemed a little hard to chew. It was still yummy though. I was excited to try this place because the only other Peruvian food I had is on the east coast. It's called viva chicken & it's good. I feel like this place is more authentic. Great experience overall! read more

Hard to right a bad review, but hopefully this is constructive. Customer service and wait time excellent. Very friendly, waters refilled regularly, but food was disappointing. Rice was dry. Ceviche was flavorless (limited salt and fish wasn't left to marinate in lime long enough). The lomo saltado beef was burnt tasted like the pan/grill hadn't been cleaned. I also had the picante de mariscos, which I've had at several Peruvian restaurants before (usually my favorite), and unfortunately it was also not good. read more

I had lunch at this place on 9/12/23. I don not think I will ever go to eat at this place ever again. The food was ok. They do not have the charbroiled chicken in their menu which was what this restaurant was known for cooking. There is no where in this world that you order food from a menu with no prices. Today was my first time visiting the restaurant and unfortunately my last. The food was mediocre. I had the lomo saltado. The meat kind of tough, and the only prominent flavor was that of the saltiness. Service was good although I did order to go. We got catfished by this place because a 3.8 rating doesn't seem that bad, but coming here was soooo disappointing. The food is made with no love. The saltado de pollo was the saltiness peruvian food of all the peruvian restaurants I have visited. The ambiance was ok, although it is very dated and can use a facelift. The server was nice, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one. Unfortunately, I do not recommend and will not revisit. read more

Delicious! So happy they're open. I tried visiting them during the worst of COVID and they were closed most of that time--understandably. We had the Tacu Tacu. The beef was tender, the rice and beans well seasoned and just overall, very tasty. The lomo saltado did not disappoint. Tender tasty beef, rice thoroughly cooked and the onion and tomatoes were all well seasoned too. So were the fries. The green sauce was not too runny for us, it's a sauce not preserves, so not sure what people expect from a sauce. Just the right amount of spicy. We went before the dinner rush and there were some patrons there. We had ours to go. Our food came out in about 20 mins. We didn't have to wait long. We enjoy supporting our great local places. Give them a try. We'll definitely be back! read more

Very disappointing experience today with the food and customer service. My sister and I decided to come here for lunch since we've been missing peruvian food. We ordered diet coke for drinks and the waiter stated they didn't have any diet drinks. We asked for bread and sauce but the waiter said there's no bread. My sister ordered the pasta with pesto and breaded chicken. I tried to order the Jalea but they were all out of seafood. So I ended up going with the same order as my sister. When I received my food I was disappointed by how bland and runny the pasta was. You can tell by the amount of salt and pepper I had to put on it to give it some taste. I asked the waiter if he can take the pasta back and maybe make me a sandwich with my breaded chicken but he said he couldn't because they had no bread therefore they're not making sandwiches at the moment. I was super irritated at this point. When I saw the waiter again I explained that instead of him just repeatedly telling me no, he could maybe offer a side of rice or fries to makeup for the crappy pasta. He dismissed my complaint saying that "no one has ever complained about the pasta and they sell 10 plates a day with no issues." I told him that has nothing to do with my food and how bad it tastes. He didn't care and continued to mumble something about they're all out and he can't change it because their pasta is good, blah blah blah. Me and my sister were laughing at this point because of how ridiculous his responses were! So yeah never coming back. The one star is for the chicken because it was delish. read more

I really wanted some Peruvian food. I found this place here on yelp. I decided to try it out. Good service and Great food. Everything was tasty and no disappointments. Nice little place that I will definitely come back to again. Love the décor just simple and cute. If you are looking for some good Peruvian food and are in the area its a place to try out. It had a rustic sports bar feel with TVs everywhere, an open bar, and a seafood station. Nothing fancy, but not terrible. EXPERIENCE 7/10 The service was one of the better parts of the visit. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and took the time to answer our questions and recommend a few items. The food took a little while to come out. BTW there's a 90 minute limit after we were seated and the second round of our seafood took 30 minutes to come out (they apparently forgot our order) and they proceeded to tell us we had last call right after our second round of food barely got to the table. Not sure if that's done on purpose but we really didn't really appreciate that. Overall though, the staff definitely made the experience better. THE FOOD 5/10 Here's where things started to fall apart. The first all-you-can-eat platter came with two snow crab clusters, 1/2lb crawfish, 1/2lb mussels, 1/2lb peeled shrimp, plus unlimited sides. One thing that caught us off guard and maybe we just missed it on the menu is that after your first round, you can no longer order the snow crab or peeled shrimp. That was disappointing since those ended up being the best seafood options on the table. The snow crab was solid, and the peeled shrimp were surprisingly good the texture was crunchy and we didn't get any fishy smell or flavors. Everything after that... not so much. Round two included whole shrimp, clams, and scallops. The portions were noticeably smaller, and almost everything tasted like it had been frozen for too long. The crawfish lacked freshness, the whole shrimp had the same issue and were mushy without the initial crunch additionally the shrimp was hard to peel which makes us think that it was POSSIBLY reheated, and the scallops were tiny with a strong fishy flavor that made them hard to enjoy. Even the House/Cajun seasoning didn't do much to save it. It was too oily and honestly just tasted like salt, there was no spiciness either and we got the hot flavor. Ironically, the sides ended up carrying the meal. The cucumber salad was fresh and crunchy, which balanced out some of the heavier seafood, and the sweet potato fries were honestly one of our favorite things we ordered. And one last thing... somehow even the water tasted off. What We'd Order Again Snow Crab Clusters Peeled Shrimp Fish Taco Sweet Potato Fries Cucumber Salad Sausage Corn Skip These Whole Shrimp Clams Mussels Scallops Crawfish House/Cajun Seasoning Cajun Fries Cajun Wings Boiled Egg Water Final Rating If you're going for the all-you-can-eat seafood, don't expect premium quality. The first round is decent, but once the crab and peeled shrimp are off the table, the meal drops off pretty quickly. Would we come back? Definitely not. We ended up paying 90$ for 2 people which you can argue is good since it's an AYCE seafood meal but afterwards after speaking to the waiter we found out the shrimp and crawfish was indeed frozen that along with all the other disappointing food doesn't make us feel like it was worth the money. Your table is also covered with paper so you can eat the seafood boil from there. They provide bibs and gloves for no charge. Ultimately, we enjoyed our meals. Everything was flavorful and, unlike some other seafood boil spots, it didn't leave us feeling like we had heartburn afterward. There's a little sink for you to clean your hands at, which is nice since you dont have to wait for the restroom to empty. The service is what was a bit off. Like we asked for 3 Cajun fry boats but only received 2. Drinks were mixed up, and the clam chowder didn't arrive until about 20 minutes after our seafood bags had already been delivered. If you want ranch for your fries, they charge 60 cents for a small container. For drink refills, they bring a pitcher, but it's the kind typically used for measuring ounces. The server also tended to reach across one end of the table to grab empty cups or pass out food. Since I was seated at the end, it felt awkward having to help pass things down, especially since there were other access points to reach people in our party. We left around 920pm. I only mention it because we were the last group there, and we all noticed the heater seemed to have been turned on. Once my guest--who is white--joined me at the table, the dynamic shifted entirely. He received 95% of the server's warmth, eye contact, and attention. The only time the server actively engaged with me was to take my physical food order. Even the food had issues--our first crab cake was served overcooked. Because my guest was the one who pointed it out, the manager came over and addressed him to replace it. While the manager's interaction was a bit better, the server's dismissive attitude toward me never improved for the rest of the meal. To top it off, I was the one who paid the bill. When the server returned my credit card, instead of handing it back to me, she chose to place the presenter book directly in the middle of the table. As a business owner, I understand how critical customer service is. The selective attentiveness and dismissive attitude I experienced today felt incredibly biased and completely ruined our lunch.
