They cut the side of my foot and and corner of big toe. He kept covering my foot with a bunched up towel so I couldn't see it. When he removed towel I asked how that happened and another manicurist had him leave and she took over. I asked her how this happened and she said I had a blister which was a lie. I asked again and she said it happens with callus removal I didn't have calluses there. Manicure is horrendous. Asked for clear polish only. No cuticle lotion used to remove cuticles. Whole manicure took no more than 10 minutes. She apologized and said next time I come in they will take care of me (they charge me full price). There won't be a next time.

I requested the Pedicure of the Month, but the technician insisted I had asked for the basic "Uniq…read morePedicure," even though I've never ordered that during any of my previous visits. I specifically wanted the pedicure that includes the paraffin wax. When I brought it to the technician's attention, another employee came over visibly frustrated, huffing and puffing, and told me the paraffin wax would cost an additional $15. The issue wasn't the extra charge--it was the poor communication and unprofessional attitude. The technician also told me I had an ingrown toenail and, without asking for my permission, cut my toenail vertically all the way down toward the cuticle. Ironically, that is what caused it to become painful. I explained that my toe wasn't hurting and that if I ever suspected an ingrown toenail, I would see a podiatrist rather than have it treated without my consent. A simple apology for the miscommunication and an effort to make it right--whether by honoring the service that was requested or offering a small discount on a future visit--would have gone a long way. Instead, I felt like I was being treated as though I was trying to get something for free. Unfortunately, the customer service has declined, and because of this experience, I won't be returning.
