This was my first time getting my nails done outside of the US. I was a little shocked at the unsanitary process and didn't realize that regulations aren't the same everywhere. One thing the nail technician did was not put a napkin or towel down and just threw all clips and shaving on the floor. It was quite messy the way they did things. And why did she pick at her ear and then continue my nails!? So sick. My nails came out okay but when I asked for nail art it was awful. I have to have them redone or redo them myself but the shape is nice and the base color was also pretty. She did them too long even tho I said shorter. I have to say, it takes pretty awful service for me to give a one star. At the last minute, I went in for a pedicure a couple weeks ago because I wanted to treat myself. I had immense regret because my esthetician messed my foot up while removing calloused skin on my left foot. I was bleeding for hours from the wound and could properly walk. My shoes even got some bloody stains on the inside. Instead of remorse, the lady told me to put on Vaseline. Talk about rude! I would post a photo but I'm afraid that it would be inappropriate and too graphic. Do yourself a favor and never ever let them use the blade on you to remove calluses. I've been a client at this salon for 4 years. I can say that this place went from a 5 star service to barely tolerable. I've been consistently disappointed over the years, but my last experiences were the final straw. The last time I did a pedicure I ended up 3 days later with an unbearable pain while running - I had almost each toe with ingrown nails. This time I decide to come just for a mani - I left the salon with each nail with a different length and shape. Trying to get it corrected was only making things worse so I'll just fix it myself as best as I can. They lost my trust in their integrity and quality. I have been going to them for 5 years and I never had an issue. I went there in December so I can get a pedicure for my birthday and I got this lady whom I have never seen before. She started to buff my heel with this abrasive stone and it really hurt. I thought that maybe I was just being sensitive until I took a look and my heel was lonely bleeding! She didn't even apologize. She told me I needed to put Vaseline on my feet because it's too dry. I had to ask for a bandaid and to pour more salt on the wound, I never got a discount for this poor service. I am never going back to them again! read more

I went to do a regular mani pedi before my wedding. The process was quite rushed. At some point they moved me from the chair to a table to do my nails to accommodate a walk-in. They got me out of the place before my nails were fully dry, and literally the minute before/after I left the polish on my left nail has chipped. Wouldn't recommend this place for a mani pedi. I've been going to iNail for years. I was lucky enough to be seated with Sheena on my first visit and I've never looked back. I had never gone to anyone who was as meticulous and skilled as she is, while being incredibly quick. The salon I had gone to previously took 2.5 - 3 hours to do a set of acrylics with shellac on top while Sheena averages about 35 minutes to do a full set. She's absolutely incredible, and the best part is that she checks throughout the entire process to make sure you're happy with length, color, shape, etc. absolutely love her. For feet I see Aimee, who does such a gorgeous pedicure and really takes her time to make sure your cuticles are perfect and the shape and length is exactly what you want. She gives me the absolute best pedicure, and shapes my toe perfectly. You can't go wrong with anyone working there, but I adore both Sheena and Aimee. They're amazing! read more

I booked an appointment for normal acrylics and my nail tech told me "as soon as you leave the nail salon, they will break off". The lady that did my manicure made the gel so thick and it didn't even reach my cuticles so by 2 days after they already looked a week old. On top of all of that I ended up getting some sort of infection, waiting on a doctors appt to get some antibiotics to treat it. Overall would not recommend. read more

I would give this a -5 if I could. A friend and I had gift certificates from our boss who gave rave reviews to this place. Walking in I was dubious as the acrylic smell assaulted my nose immediately but we continued and sat to wait for our appointment time at 4:30. I was booked for a Foot Massage while my friend had a shellac manicure. We were both supposed to start at 4:30, I started on time while my friend waited for a half hour for a booked appointment. Meanwhile during the entire wait people kept walking in asking if they had openings and they would say yes seating people for manicures. Despite all this I was still hoping for at least a good foot massage, some callous removal along with what they call 'hot stone massage'. What I got was a dollarstore cheese grater rasping against the bottom of my foot. A literal cheese grater. I have never been more horrified in my life and multiple times I had to ask her to just stop because it was enough and I was honestly shocked to the core that they would use such a tool. After soaking my feet again and then using one of the most abrasive foot scrubs on my skin she pulled out an actual callous removal tool and started going at my feet AGAIN. Once more I requested she stop because it was enough so she just washed off my feet and then rubbed some lotion on before picking up two 'hot stones' and randomly rubbing them up and down my legs. I won't even go into the 'massage' of punching my legs and feet with her fists through a hot towel. Leaving my feet were sensitive and by the time I got home I was in actual pain. It feels like twenty layers of skin has been ripped off and I'm terrified that I'm going to get some sort of infection from them slicing off all my skin. Never go here, its a septic infection waiting to happen. Horrific experience, I should have left when she pulled out the kitchen tools. read more

I went here 2 years ago and got shellac done in White Bunny with Hannah! I did the Lions hike the next day and my nails fully survived and didn't chip a subtle bit even though I was climbing a literal mountain. The shellac was perfect for a month! I highly recommend. read more

I tend to not write critical reviews, but now that I have had a couple of weeks to consider the situation, I feel the need to update my review. Are they talented? Yes! Most definitely. I was blown away by the speed of my nail techs. Was it affordable? Sure. Was it sanitary? Did I get what I asked for? Here is where the experience festered in my brain for a little too long. I wasn't asked what type of nails I wanted, meaning the consultation was severely lacking and I felt rushed. Before I know what happened the acrylic was already being put on my nails. As a hairstylist, acrylic really isn't the best option for me. It's been just shy of two weeks and I have decided to get my set removed and opted for a gel set at another nail salon (review pending, my appointment is tomorrow). The other negative side is that, being as rushed as I was to sit down and get started, there was no time taken to prep the station. It was obvious to me that the tools that were used on me were used on the previous client, and perhaps many before that as well. The acrylic was applied out of a jar that looked like it was used for face cream in the past. There was no way to know what in god's name they were putting on my nails. I am quite health conscious and sanitation is a big one for me. I wouldn't reuse a comb on my clients head that hasn't been sanitized, and I think it's not too much to ask that the files being used on my nails don't have someone else's... residue on them. Basically I have spent the past two weeks wondering if I am going to fall victim to nail fungus, a fear that is very real to me. I've been to cosmetology school; I've seen the face of fungus and trust me, it ain't pretty. Even if I get out of this scot free, I don't want to go to a place where I am uncertain as to whether or not this is the set that costs me my nails. In almost ten out of ten cases, cheaper isn't better, especially when it comes to services that involve our bodies. I'm willing to pay the extra twenty dollars somewhere else for peace of mind. read more

Great place. they were very sanitary and did not reuse tools ( they were in sealed packets). They were quick ( gel polish Mani was 60min). I loved how they had many options for gel polish - I would say over 200 colours which was nice. I had Jessy and she was very detailed oriented and took her time. Would def go back here. Went back after 3 weeks, no lifting, no chips I was shocked! They do great work here! Sheena is the best if you can get in to see her. They have one of the biggest selection of colours I've seen in the city. Just the little things like bottle of water instead of a glass, I didn't have to monitor that uv machine when getting my pedicure (they take care). I had three seriously cracked nails, she gave me an acrylic fill with gel polish, changed my shape up and everything, I was out in less than an hour. I am very glad I found iNail Spa and didn't need to try out different places in order to find a good nail salon. I was in downtown and called in to several salons to see if they would be able to do a last minute manicure for me with a reasonable price. I was originally looking to do nail extensions and gel polish. I found iNail Spa through Yelp and decided to call in and ask. Thankfully, they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment within the next 30 minutes. The salon itself is quite clean and new. Adam was my nail technician and he asked me what I was looking to do with my nails when I came in. Originally, I wanted gel extensions with gel polish but he advised that I do acrylic instead. At first I was hesitant because I've heard that acrylic is very damaging for your nails and since I have eczema on my hands, it made me quite wary. In addition, I've never gotten nail extensions or acrylic nails done before. However, Adam was able to assure me that it would be a good decision. I really appreciated Adam's excellent customer service and knowledge. He also made the following key points prior to my decision to go with acrylic nails that makes me want to go back and get my nails redone: 1. Acrylic nails do about the same amount of damage as gel / hard nails. 2. With gel / hard nails it would take longer and be more expensive (ie. He was not greedy for money). 3. He first tested the acrylic on my nails to see if I would get an allergic reaction as I informed him about my eczema skin condition. Since nothing happened, he asked for my consent to proceed with the rest of my nails. Adam was very meticulous as well. He filed my nails carefully according to how my nail bed grew, made sure the acrylic / extensions weren't too thick, etc. The whole manicure took around 1 hour. I really recommend iNail Spa to anyone. Not only do they provide reasonable prices for the quality and have knowledgeable staff, but they provide excellent customer service to ensure their customers are satisfied and will come back! read more

They weren't short, they weren't oval shaped and the colour was splotchy. When I told her this she raised her voice at me and said "well maybe you should go back to wherever you usually get your nails done because obviously we aren't professional enough for you". Not because my service was really bad but because of the way the technician treated the woman beside me who had come in complaining that her nail had broken off less than 24hrs later and didn't want to have to pay for it to be fixed. Talking down to her, pretending you don't understand her English, talking bad about her in Vietnamese and arguing with her about the colour she wanted in front of the entire place is downright rude. You not only lost her as a customer (she told me she wouldn't come back) you also lost me. I felt awkward and bad for her the whole time I was getting my nails done. I've been going to this nail salon for a couple of years. However, yesterday was a really horrible experience for me. I went in to get a shellac manicure and I asked to get chrome and the other lady tech said oh it doesn't last long so then I was like okay I will get white colour on both hands for my nails and blue on my index fingers. I also asked the other tech if I can get 15 mins foot massage because I need a massage and she was answering me where her back was to me and she was cleaning and she did not turn around to answer me properly. Bad service and disrespectful! I had to ask her again to get a clear reply, then she said yeah that's fine. Now during the process of my nails, I noticed the lady tech isn't doing a good job because most of my nail colour looks so bumpy and my natural nails are nicely shaped and cleaned but the colour on my nails does not look smooth at all! I tell her and she acts as if she didn't hear me, I had to repeat myself again and she just starts nodding, to the point where she begins applying more colour and it's getting worse. I told her she needs to take it off to redo it. Now, she is rushing and going fast with the drill to take it off to the point where it feels like she is about to cut me... I had to tell her to go slower and be careful because you almost CUT me. She tries to hush me.. Disrespectful woman....Now usually when the tech does a bad job they would give suggestions what they can do to fix it...this lady was so quiet and not saying anything.. so I had to look at more colours and decide what should I choose where my nails could look like it just got done professionally. I have to choose a blue colour with sparkles to make sure it blends in with the index fingers.. During this process no one from the other tech came over to see if they can help or if they take over or give any tips..no teamwork!! At the ending, my nails are good but I wanted the colour white but I couldn't get it because the nail tech wasn't good at her job. Now, at the ending she tells me oh we can't do the foot massage because they are closing now and for me to come back tomorrow. I told her I can't come tomorrow that's why I asked for the massage at the beginning and the lady tech said yes. This lady messed up on my nails and cutting me a few times and because of it I couldn't get my massage. Very disappointed in this staff and the service!!! I get so many compliments on my nails from my friends and customers at work. The staff are always friendly and they take good care of your nails. I get there and Sheena (the owner) says they can only do a manicure because there's only one person available. 1) how unprofessional!!!!!! 2) you knew I was coming, confirmed my apt, but couldn't plan accordingly?! 3) why would I do a manicure and pedicure separately?! Who has that kind of time to waste 4) she didn't even suggest any other options. I had to ask if I could come later, etc 5) SHE DOESNT EVEN APOLOGIZE I've been going to this place for almost two years and tip EXTREMELY well EVERY time, I make appointments as well so they know I'm coming - so why treat me that way?!
