This review is about a specific person not the salon. I love this salon have been coming here for a year. Today I had a particular man I do not know his name but he had a mole on his face. I sat in the pedicure chair at 12:41 my pedicure was over by 12:52. The foot massage was 1 minute on each foot. He didn't cut cuticles or file my nails on my right foot!!! I am highly disappointed with this service. Another lady sat down at the same time as me and when I was leaving her technician was still cutting her nails. With COVID-19 making things crazy recently, I was hesitant about going to my normal nail appointment. Not only did I receive, as always, a fantastic manicure (image attached) but I was so comforted by the precautions the salon has taken to ensure their clients' safety. Walking in, there is a sign on the door that asks all customers to wash their hands before touching any of the polish or gel samples. When entering I was warmly greeted as usual and quickly prompted to wash my hands. Before being seated the staff completely sanitized the area including my seat and table. Meh. I stopped by spur of the moment for a basic mani pedi. Price was comparable to other nail places around here. Friendly service and clean facility. My pedi seemed almost rushed. Cant even remember if there was a small leg rub so if there was it wasn't significant enough for me to remember. But my toes are well done. Was left with some nail polish on my skin on the mani and for some of my fingers it looks like the top coat wasn't fully covering the color near my cuticle. I really wanted to love In Style Nails, but it definitely did not meet my standards. A friend and I went in last week because In Style is near where we work, and who doesn't want a good nail salon near where they work? I had made appointments for us the day prior for two dip manicures and two pedicures. When we walked in a few minutes before our scheduled time, we were energetically greeted by a boy who appeared to be about ten who told us we could look at the regular polish colors for our pedicures but we would have to wait to look at the dip colors because someone else had them -- no worries there, we're patient people. About 15 minutes later, we were advised by a man who I assume to be the owner that he will be with us shortly. We were sat down a couple minutes later and our finger nails were wrapped up to remove our old dip. We were then moved between stations 3-4 times before being sat in pedicure chairs. In my opinion, the pedicures felt pretty rushed, and I ended up with uneven polish on some of my toes. I will say the one saving grace for this pedicure was that Julie gave a pretty good massage (and I'm picky lol). I was then moved to a station across the room from where my friend was moved to for our manicures. It was for the manicure that I could really tell that I was not getting a service where detail was important. There were multiple times where she repeated steps she had already done because she was busy talking to someone else and not even looking at my nails. Now, my nails were already shaped really well from my last manicure and I am currently typing this review with CROOKED nails that are missing dip on the sides. Overall, not a great experience, especially for a salon with such great reviews. In summary: Ambiance: Nice, very clean looking, very busy but they clearly took advantage of their space when creating their layout. The two sweet old doggies were a plus, but all the children running around talking loudly didn't really give the "spa girls day" vibe we were looking for. Service: Decent. Crooked nails and spots with uneven polish. One of my fingernails also has a dull film type thing over it...not sure what that's about but I'm guessing it's a result of the lack of attention to detail I received. Quality: It's been a week and I don't have any chips on my finger or toe nails which leads me to believe they use quality product, but the crookedness and unevenness (as stated before) displays a crappy service performed. Rating: Solid 3 stars. Will not be going back, at least not any time soon. I hope I just caught them on a bad day or something. Having my nails done typically gives me a confidence boost, but these definitely do the opposite, especially when I paid almost $90 before tip for them. read more

I went in for my first visit this week. I chose this nail salon based on reviews. I made an appt and was seen right away. Masks, temp check and washing hands upon arriving are required. The salon was clean and set to accommodate social distancing orders. The three stars is bc when I told my nail technician what I wanted (Shellac) , she kept trying to up sell me to dip, even though I had said no. She kept telling me how dip would look much better as she painted my nails. She made Me feel like what I got was ugly and sub-par. Then of course, she looked at my brows and offered a wax. I felt so ugly by the time I left, and unsatisfied with my nails more so because she kept saying it was "not as Good as dip". I felt as if she was not satisfied with the price of the service verses her time. It was extremely stressful, and honestly, I was ashamed of spending the money afterwards. As a consumer, I have a choice to where I spend my hard earned money. I should be treated equally and kind, being appreciated- more so during these hard times. read more

I went there for the first time and Christine did a mani/pedi for me. I did the spa pedicure with gel and a SNS dip manicure. She was friendly, however the prices there are ridiculous. Paid $140 for the whole thing. The spa pedicure doesn't do much, and if you want callus removal you have to do the spa pedicure. I thought they would give me the usual leg massage, especially for how much I paid, but they just rub your legs at the end for like 10 seconds each. Overall WAY too expensive and they need to lower their prices! Definitely look into somewhere else in the area if you want better quality work for cheaper. I will not be back. read more

They always do an excellent job. With other places, I often leave a little annoyed bc something is uneven, but I've been here twice and it's been flawless. Also, the polish seems to stay on longer when I get it done here. Only drawback is that everyone likes them, so they're always so busy. I had gone to another local salon for SNS for the first time and it was terrible, but I wasn't ready to give up as I knew it was better for my nails than traditional acrylics. Did not respond properly to any of my questions. I still have dry skin around my nails. She dint remove the dead skin properly and painted the nails as is. Again that too in a hurry. My sister and I went her to get our nails done on July 3rd. Both of our nail technicians were very nice, gentle on our nails, and our nails turned out beautiful. My sisters nail technician was very talkative which was nice for her to talk to and my nail technician was very quiet which worked well for me. It was 96 dollars for both of our nails 41 for gel and I design and 56 for gel, acrylics, and a design. This place is a little bit larger than the nail salons I have been to in the past which made it a little bit louder but not enough to be bothersome. Overall a great experience! read more

I have had 4 or 5 pedicures here. I have had excellent service and not very good service. Today was a not so good pedicure. The guy was very speedy but not thorough. I don't think he did anything to my cuticles and filed them so fast it was painful. I like to relax during my pedicures but pretty hard to do today because everything he did was at top speed. I seriously hoped he wouldn't hurt my toes and bend them wrong when he was massaging them. The polish seemed too thick and he kept hitting the bottle to get it out. I wish I would have checked my polish once I got outside but wanted to get to my next stop before it started raining. I was so disappointed when I got a chance to look at the polish but then I didn't have time to go back and have it re-done. The polish is very thick and mottled looking. Some thick spots and then some thin spots. He didn't paint to the edges of the nail bed so will probably have to get it repainted sooner than usual. Next time I go someplace for a pedicure I will be checking before I leave.... read more

I get more compliments on my nails and they always look perfect, and are done just the way I like them! I have never had a bad experience here. I have never once felt rushed, all the techs are warm, friendly and caring about my comfort and experience. I've been here multiple times for dip manicures and gel pedicures. Up until yesterday I've always had a good experience. Don't get me wrong the quality of their services are great, my nails look beautiful! But I'm unhappy with the service itself. My tech was tugging on my fingers and was very rough in how she bent them. It was obvious she wasn't happy about doing my service even though she was the one who suggested the dip upgrade. She also made me change designs which I gladly did because I wanted to be accommodating to her as well. Additionally when I asked to get the acrylics shorter she replied "no i think that's good".
