Conveniently located right off the 215 FWY off Van Buren Blvd. and Opportunity Way by the 76 Gas Station with plenty of parking and dual drive-thru. I was driving by and noticed it wasn't busy so I drove through expecting a fast visit. There was only one car ahead of me, but I still waited about 15 minutes for my meal. I ordered a 'Double-Double with Animal Fries and Strawberry Shake'. The bread was a bit over toasted, and the shake was actually warm by the time it got to me. Regardless, I still enjoyed my meal. Ingredients were fresh. Employees were friendly and apologetic for the wait time. I enjoy that In-N-Out offers your meal in a box so that you can comfortably eat in your car. I'm not into burgers period. But my family love in n out, so whenever we travel to SoCal we have to stop and get burgers there. Although I don't like burgers, I will definitely eat in n out. Always great service, plus it's not really that bad. Always fresh, they even come great you at your car. This Riverside location is near our family so whenever we fly down and visit, we either go to this location or the one near LAX. I don't mind supporting this company at. This location does not understand how do their light fries at all. 3/4 times I always have to send it back. And these are just the fries. Half the time they can't even get your order correct. I've visited this location a couple times now since I moved to the south Riverside area. I've found that the burgers and fries are always done very well here! Other locations can be a bit inconsistent but this one gives you the excellent In N Out quality and taste along with good service. If you're not familiar with their options or are visiting from out of the state, I recommend the Cheeseburger or double double with grilled onions and animal style as well if you like pickles. The parking lot is a nightmare, the drive thru lines block the only entrance and block the entire flow of the parking lot to get to other businesses. The orders never come out correct, fries are always soggy and tasteless, and the burgers are sloppy. If you want quality food, go to another location. I can't believe I'm writing a review on in n out. However, it needs to be said. I order a cheeseburger animal style and had a piece of hair in my burger wrapped around the lettuce and stuck to the cheese,then my fries were old, hard and cold. I don't know what's going on but the service seems to be declining. To leave off on a positive note I thought it was impressive by the manager stepping up and taking orders outside with his employee that seemed to be getting swamped with cars. I went to this location the day after NYE. Not sure what exactly the issue was, but this was by far the worst service I've ever experienced. I've been to multiple locations all across SoCal for so many years and never, I mean NEVER had an issue with my order being wrong. I ordered two plain cheeseburgers, which typically means bun, meat, cheese. For the most part, I think it's safe to assume that a majority of places that sell cheeseburgers would assume the same thing. I gave my order to the person who was standing outside. She seemed to be confused, so I clarified my order to her a couple of times. She still seemed confused, but said she had my order in and allowed me to move forward. I get to the first window to pay, and the girl relays my order to me. It was wrong. I explained my order that I wanted exactly the same way as I did with the first girl. For some reason, this girl was also confused. I had to repeat myself several times for her to understand what I was asking for. She said she finally fixed my order, and allowed me to move forward to the second window. I got to the second window, and they handed me my bags. I looked through the bags, and my order was STILL wrong. I explained to the girl at the window and her manager what I ordered. They continued to go back-and-forth, laughing, and told me that I was not ordering my own order correctly? I know I visibly became frustrated, and I explained myself for the last time. I said I was not going to wait for them to fix my order and I would be coming inside for a refund. Somehow, they finally got my order right. On top of this, the line was ridiculously long and took forever, longer than it should have compared to other locations with the same amount of staff. Disappointed with my visit poor service and incorrect order I visited the In-N-Out in Riverside (Store #353) on October 4, 2025 around 6:50 PM. I ordered two #2 combos, and my husband ordered a 3x3 as a combo but wanted a milkshake and animal fries. I also added a plain cheeseburger with no toast. We only received one drink and the milkshake. When I went back to ask for the missing drink, the cashier Alanah told me, "You replaced it with a shake." I explained again that we ordered three combos total, so one of them still came with a drink. She repeated herself with attitude, like I was the one who didn't understand, and then said, "Oh, I didn't charge for the other drink." Her only solution was to charge me extra for something that should have already been included in the combo. To make things worse, when we got our food, one of the fries was missing too. At that point, I didn't even bother going back ,I just wanted to eat and leave. I've always loved In-N-Out, but this experience was frustrating. Mistakes happen, but the dismissive attitude and lack of accountability from the cashier were disappointing. It's good to have an In N Out in this area with it's lack of food options. Cons: the usual long lines during lunch and dinner along with not enough parking. They messed up my order a couple times. The burger was good, but the fries must be the soggiest fries I have ever had. And to add the cheese and spread over already soggy fries was just criminal. I ended up only eating my burger.
