Cars lined up as I walked over passing numerous covered tables outside. there was no wait at the counter and ordered a Cheeseburger $4.40 with grilled, and whole grilled onions, fries $2.40 and an extra large chocolate shake $5. tax $1.15 total 12.95. My order #7 as the were calling order 99 was ready. Served on a red tray. I'd ask for extra napkins. The counter orders were steady, but no line during my visit. It's not a huge dinning room and was mostly full but not maxed, As for the food it was so good, the burger bun with a nice toast and each burger custom cooked, the fries old school cut onsite, and the extra large real chocolate shake an off menu option. The food slightly less expensive than the bigger chains, made via kitchen that uses higher quality ingredients, and does far more volume. This is THE In-N-Out to go to when arriving to or leaving LAX. It's a popular spot. Do note that there's a parking lot but parking spots are limited. It's packed inside with long lines to order around dinner time, so tables could be hard to come by. Even so, the staff doesn't often come wipe the tables off so it does get a bit dirty. Luckily the food is served in red trays. This isn't really a spot to chill and chat, but is more of an eat and leave type of scenario. I got a hamburger and fries with grilled onion. The staff is hard working and friendly here. The place was always open at 1027 even though they aren't supposed to open till 1030 technically. One staffer was standing outside to take orders. Fresh onions, tomato, fresh fries even. The fries were very basic and despite having a secret menu, this place is really meant to be and stay simple. I think McDonald's started off like this but they morphed into having more variety of options later on. Some people love more simplicity but I tend to like more complex. The place is kept extremely clean. Very impressive. The best time to come is probably the minute or before they open because it seems to get more crowded even the first 25 minutes in. Insanity. An iconic institution whenever I visit Los Angeles. I lived there for decades, so In-N-Out was a staple. Now it's a treat. I'm always impressed when I go there because no matter what time it is, the place is busy but they move the line through very quickly. If I recall correctly, they also pay better than the other fast food restaurants, so that's probably a big part of their success. If other restaurants paid as well they could get better employees. But they don't. They also have a secret menu where you can order all kinds of things that they'll make for you. I generally just stick with a cheeseburger, fries and Dr. Pepper and I'm perfectly happy. Now I'm back in Florida and missing it already. read more

10/10 in n out is always so consistent no matter which location you go to! I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger with onions and a side of fries through the drive through and they didn't disappoint (ate it all in the car before I could snap photos ). This location is right off PCH in El Segundo but you'll want to enter off Mariposa to get to the drive through line smoothly. It's in a large shopping mall with lots of other businesses so it gets quite congested, but this location is generally still MUCH less chaotic than the one right by LAX that all the tourists generally seem to hit up. IN N OUT! Yes! Still by far one of my favorite burger places always open late enough to get a good quality burger. This was my first time at this location and I feel like I never have any complaints about how they are run. They have a system that works and it gets everyone IN N OUT! My go to is a 4x4 with raw and whole grilled onions with some animal fries and a lemon up always!!! Inside is always packed but no complaints because when I'm at in n out I'm always happy. Love In-N-Out burger for delicious burgers, this time in El Segundo. In-N-Out is becoming a tradition when we pick somebody up from LAX; this time we decided to go to the El Segundo location. It located as a standalone in a small strip mall complex, thus sharing a large parking lot with other businesses. This means there is plenty of parking for dine-in, but also a lot of space so the drive-in line can snake around. Result: the line will not end up in the city street (which at other locations can be a big safety problem), but can make leaving the parking lot a bit tricky because of all the stalled cars waiting in line. We came around 9 pm so the other busineses were closed, but the In-N-Out was still very busy. We placed and paid for our order, and it took about 15 minutes to get our food. Everyone in the back is working really hard...it's just that busy. The fries ($2.30) were especially bad today: already came out a bit cold and just got worse from there. At the end it tasted like stale French's potato sticks. The burgers were great, and it makes sense to get it exactly the way you want (since it will take the same amount of time to prepare anyway). Got two cheeseburgers ($3.75 each) and two double-double ($5.25 each). In-n-out is the one fast food place where the actual burgers look like advertised food pictures. Animal style is the way to go if you like pickles (since the normal burgers do not come with it), and one can get it with grilled, WHOLE, onions if you ask. The strawberry shake is $2.85 and was dependable as always for that price. read more

Loved my burger, but I did have an issue with ordering. when I walked up to the register I said "I'll take a 2 with cheese fries". The guy at the register heard "2 cheese fries" cause that's what I got LOL. When they realized their mistake, they not only gave me the extra cheese fries for free, they made my burger. The sucky thing is by the time my burger was finished, by fries were cold, so I ended up eating one and tossing the other. The wait was expected for the is busy In N out on PCH, but inside was chill and everyone just minded their business and waited for their food.
