After trying a few other boarding facilities, (which were not that good) I happened to be driving…read moredown the road and came across Pampered Pet Care. When I got home I looked them up on Yelp. Not many reviews but everyone was 5 stars. I was encouraged so I set up an 8am to 4pm trial run. Cue loved it. What gorgeous country grounds and the facilities were amazingly spotless. The staff is incredible. Efficient, knowledgeable and very caring are a few descriptions that head the list of many qualities they have. His first overnight was a very relived success. Yes they sent pics of him every day. I don't think his feet ever touched the ground as all the photos were of him being held by by different staff members (lol). Immaculate facilities. When I asked why no pet odors, the staff member simply replied , "the owner won't allow it". My pet will not be going anywhere else and I'm so glad he has found such a wonderful boarding facility. Thank you Pampered Pet Care for the love and kindness you give our pets and treating them like they were your own.

They have a play area so the dogs aren't caged up when they are waiting to be groomed. I wasn't too happy with where I was going so this will be my new spot for Cody. They have daycare and boarding packages too.

Their system is extremely friendly, you can request your visits online and even within a couple of hours, they can respond and visit/walk your pets. I found them on Yelp about 2 years ago. We travel a lot for work, and at the time we had an elderly Great Dane, who needed special attention and being a deaf and partially blind dog, it just added up to how careful you need to be with him. I was impressed how Lisa was able to connect with him. I could tell that he loved her, because even towards his last days, where he could barely walk he would get really excited to see her. Something that gives me extreme confidence in them, is they send a text message after every visit with pictures of your pets. Some of my best pictures of my dog came from Lisa. But going back to the text, she never waited for a situation to escalate to let me know about it, she preferred to get ahead of the curve and let me guide her on how to proceed. Remember my dog was old and due to age had a lot of health issues at that point. Now we have two Great Danes one is10 months old and a recently rescued one of 7 months old, that she will be taking care for, even when the youngest one is very scarish, as he's a rescue, I know she will do a magnificent job taking care of my babies. In Feb I started working in Midtown and needed someone to let my dog out for a mid-day potty break…read more After checking out their website and reading the sitter profiles I was impressed and made a meet n' greet appointment. I was nervous, Sasha's very protective of me, my husband, and the house - if he meets a stranger at the pet store he's all waggy tail and goofy grin, but someone comes to the door and he's Cujo. Elizabeth assured me that Sasha's not the only dog like this and gave me instructions for when Sheila and Maggie arrived. So Sasha's in the office with my husband where he can see the driveway, front door, and living room through the glass French doors. They pull up to the house and the barking, howling, and growling starts. So I let them in and we stand by the door for a minute and introduce ourselves, ignore the barking, and make sure he sees me give them a few slices of cheese. We go to the living room and they sat on the couch while I stayed on the other side of the room (so they were no threat to me). Chris let Sasha out and they don't look at him, just keep talking to us while he checks them out. He knows they have cheese, so he sits, does the cute thing with his ears, and tilts his head to one side...and he's got two new best friends! Sasha had a bad fall a few years ago and had a bad leg that he sometimes drags. So since they wouldn't be walking him, just letting him out the back door to potty, I didn't expect them to stay for the whole 30 minutes, just potty and leave. But they do stay the whole time and sit in the yard with him, play with toys, give him belly rubs and treats, and leave a "Pawgress Report." Maggie and Sheila are great with him and will text or call me if something seems strange, like "He was panting and acting nervous when I got here. Was he ok this morning?" And twice Sheila has gone to the house for an emergency dinner potty break - once when Chris and I were stuck on 400 for two hours due to a multi car crash, and once when the exhaust system was stolen off my car in a parking garage and I didn't get home until midnight. Both times I sent a panicked text to everyone and Elizabeth assured me that if Maggie or Sheila couldn't get out there, somebody would. Two weeks ago Sasha hurt his bad leg and we ended up having to amputate it. So he was in the hospital for one week and Chris worked from home this past week. For the past two weeks I've been getting texts and emails from Sheila and Maggie asking how he's doing and sending good wishes, and yesterday Maggie stopped by with cookies and toys! So yeah, they are awesome and I love how they take care of my baby. If I had a tail, it'd be happy :)

I'm pretty picky when it comes to her grooming since she's a long-haired dachshund with a very fluffy coat rather than a traditional drop coat, and I like to keep her looking natural while still cleaned up and shaped nicely. Emilie did an amazing job listening to exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly! Xena came out looking absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with her groom. Emilie was also so sweet and made the whole experience great. I'm so happy we found someone we can trust with Xena and will absolutely be back!
