Once he became aware of the…read moresituation, he immediately contacted me, and we had a good conversation, coming up with a reasonable solution. As a result, I felt compelled to update my review to not discourage people from trying Champ Bow Wow. The main disappointment boiled down to not being notified of the situation promptly. The owner ensured that training and procedures would be held to a higher standard moving forward. I understand that dogs can get into scuffles at any time, so in fairness, I think 3 stars is reasonable with the outcome, as well as informing future patrons of ANY boarding/day care facility to take pictures of their baby before leaving them and check their convenient Doggy-Cam.

Took my sweet kitty Pancakes here when she was acting very unlike herself…read more I normally go to a vet in Decatur but I moved to Lawrenceville and it's too much of a drive. The staff were super friendly and seemed very experienced. They had to give her a shot and I swear she didn't even noticed that she was given one! At my old vet she use to hiss and growl at this one she actually purred! They gave me some medicine and sent us on our way. Pancakes got so much better and I really have this place to thank! I would also like to add that they were not at all expensive. A total exam, a shot of some medicine to make her eat, an IV since she was dehydrated, and a 30 day supply of pills ran me about $90 which probably would have cost me upwards of $200 or more if I went to the Decatur clinic.

Their system is extremely friendly, you can request your visits online and even within a couple of hours, they can respond and visit/walk your pets. I found them on Yelp about 2 years ago. We travel a lot for work, and at the time we had an elderly Great Dane, who needed special attention and being a deaf and partially blind dog, it just added up to how careful you need to be with him. I was impressed how Lisa was able to connect with him. I could tell that he loved her, because even towards his last days, where he could barely walk he would get really excited to see her. Something that gives me extreme confidence in them, is they send a text message after every visit with pictures of your pets. Some of my best pictures of my dog came from Lisa. But going back to the text, she never waited for a situation to escalate to let me know about it, she preferred to get ahead of the curve and let me guide her on how to proceed. Remember my dog was old and due to age had a lot of health issues at that point. Now we have two Great Danes one is10 months old and a recently rescued one of 7 months old, that she will be taking care for, even when the youngest one is very scarish, as he's a rescue, I know she will do a magnificent job taking care of my babies. Thank you Robin and Lisa!!!!!

Vixen, our 7 year old Doberman had never stayed at home while we've been away, we've always had her stay in someone's home so we weren't sure how she would do with only visits. (pictures were taken after cleaning up her eye) UPDATE: Terissa called and gave us a more detailed explanation of Harleys stay there. she explained that they have turf in the back and something could've gotten in her eye, that could be the reason for her eye being irritated. she offered to cover vet bills and Harleys stay there. she was definitely very apologetic and we really appreciate her customer service. that is how you do business. thank you Terissa!
