This is my puppy's first bath and trim (he was about 5 months old). Him being a shih Tzu- I intend to keep his fur long as I do not like the "teddy bear short cut look". Scheduling: Appt scheduling was very simple. Staff was very nice. Appearance: Upon arriving, It can be a little confusing as the sign is not lit up. It's a little past the opening where the Home Store is so be aware to keep going! Inside, it smelled like a old dogs inn. Just like a dog. Didn't feel the clean spa- like feeling I thought I would get. Staff: The staff were not masked, but still nice. I just want to say Lindsay was sooo sweet! The sweetest. Explained things in good detail and really nice. Experience: I asked them to let me know if there were any issues as he is a very scary pup. She told me she would try to save some of his fur as there was a mention it was matted pretty bad. He was shaved balled. My mom picked him up as I was at another appt and she said they kept apologizing and saying "he's alright". He wound up having really bad diarrhea for a few days and when I took him to the vet, they mentioned it was bacteria. It could have came from anywhere but he's not around any other dogs, and thought it was funny he got it right after coming home. I'm thinking because the place was not as clean as I'd hope. They were also a little pricey. The rate was higher than my neighbors who has a Yorkie. In addition, with the extra vet bill, this grooming costs me over $140 so I will mostlikely be searching for a new one. Just as a note, He smelled really good and appeared to be okay but I will not likely take him back.

I called and was told to bring him in and they'd meet me at the car. The vet tech was so friendly and helped me bring my fur baby inside. We saw the vet within the first minute of arrival. They quickly started assessing him and started coming up with a plan. We were reassured that the medication recommended would help by fur baby and helped back to the vehicle. They even followed up with multiple emails and text. My fur baby is recovering and I'm so thankful for VEG ER-Snellville.

DO NOT take your pets here if you actually care about them. I brought my cat here on the first of…read morethe year because she had multiple concerning behaviors where I did not want to wait until new years was over to be seen. She's an indoor cat but I believed she was bitten by another animal when my parents accidentally let her escape the house. They shrugged off the suspected bite saying she may have fallen on something but we had them run all of the tests to see what the problem could be. Barely looked at the wound. $1,500 to be told that based off her vitals, "she's perfectly healthy and might be stressed." Well, two weeks later she's still been acting "depressed," except when I got home she had a gaping hole in her side where the bite was! VEG told me they would not be able to inspect it for free since it did not happened within 24-48 hours even thought it was still related to the last visit and was overlooked. I took her to a different vet and they were able to identify the blown abscess, put her to sleep, conduct surgery, and give me meds for less than $1,000. Absolutely ridiculous that my cat's injury was overlooked when it was caught early on. I guess your pet has to actually be on their deathbed to get any attention.

I found him through the Nextdoor app and relied on his stated experience and trustworthiness. When I returned after five days, my previously healthy, active four-year-old pit bull was unable to walk. I have since spent thousands of dollars on veterinary care, and my dog's quality of life has been permanently altered. To this day, I have not received a clear or consistent explanation. I was told my dog got out, was missing for several hours, and later was found. I was not aware he was even injured until after he was picked up by my brother the next day when my brother noticed he was hurt. Even if that account were accurate, he didn't take any accountability for the fact that my dog's back legs are paralyzed and a clear story hasn't been given. He claims he was standing outside while my dog was chewing the fence to escape but if that's the case why continue to let him chew it? Nothing is making sense and when I asked him about it he got defensive. All I wanted was answers. Three weeks later, my dog is still suffering. He lives in constant pain, cannot walk without assistance, and is largely confined to bed rest. When I contacted this man seeking clarity, I was met with anger and defensiveness rather than accountability or concern. This situation reflects a serious lack of transparency, judgment, and responsibility. I strongly warn others not to entrust this person with the care of their pet.

I took both of my dogs there, paid a premium for service and when I returned I noticed my boxer had a red eye. I asked the lady what happened and she said, "he has a cold in his eye". What?? The next morning his eye appeared to be hanging out of his face. I took pics and emailed my vet, he said to take him to an emergency vet. Needless to say, $750 later, my dog barely escaped with an eye. Apparently his eye was scratched with what they believe was a fingernail and it tore his cornea. When I called the owner she said, we are not responsible, accidents happen. Seriously?!?? This dog is like my child! Had I been notified I could've taken the dog to the regular vet and saved some money. Not knowing cost me lots more. To boot, the owner refused to refund any of my fees for the substandard care my dogs received. Since this was the 3rd time my dogs have been abused or neglected, I won't return. And I'm fighting the credit card company on the fees for the lack of service my dogs received. Absolutely love this place. My dog is excited to come here and "forgets" me when we hit the parking lot. For him to be excited about going here makes me feel at ease leaving him. I've had a bad experience before and the dog spot has renewed my faith! If you have to tug your dog into a boarding spot, it's not the right one. If he pulls you in, you're at the dog spot!!
