I got a TEXT at 7:15pm during the boarding stay telling me my puppy had a small gash near her nose. The facility stated they would be keeping a close eye on her and if I wanted, they could take her to the vet the next morning. I informed PetSuites to take her to the vet since the incident occurred while in their care. The vet called me to let me know my puppy would need surgery which required 12 stitches to close (see picture of injury below). After not hearing from PetSuites Lawrenceville, I went to the facility to talk to them and to request an incident report. PetSuites Lawrenceville admitted the potty run area had fencing/locks with bolts that stick out on the inside of the potty run and that they were working on sourcing rubber caps for the area to prevent anything like what happened to my puppy occurring in the future. I sent PetSuites of America, the registered agent, a notice of demand to cover the costs of surgery and medication. After the demand, I filed a small claims complaint which was served to their corporate office and they also failed to respond. The most heartbreaking part is that PetSuites of America failed to satisfy my claim and never asked how my puppy was doing after her surgery. I was eventually awarded judgment against them by the magistrate court. I trusted PetSuites Lawrenceville with my family member and they let me down in the worst way. This facility is entrusted with the safety of your animals. They failed mine -- and then refused to own it. I don't want this to happen to anyone else's pet. Please share this so other pet owners in the Lawrenceville area can make an informed decision before leaving their animals at PetSuites Lawrenceville facility.

I was on a time crunch to get to work and they were very sensitive to my time. They did not try to get me to do all kinds of unnecessary testing or treatments. He wound up having really bad diarrhea for a few days and when I took him to the vet, they mentioned it was bacteria. He claims he was standing outside while my dog was chewing the fence to escape but if that's the case why continue to let him chew it? He lives in constant pain, cannot walk without assistance, and is largely confined to bed rest. Not even 5 minutes after pulling out from the facility, they attempted to call my phone. Having my phone in my pants pocket, I could not retrieve the phone call and Pet Paradise called my daughter instead. I returned the call and was informed urgently to pick up my dog because they could not leash my dog. The staffs were waiting for me to pick up my 13 lbs shorkie just because they could not leash her and afraid that she will bite her. She stated last visit she bite someone. But according to the staff on the previous incident, the person who evaluated her made a quick startle at my shorkie in which caused it. Per staff member, she stated it was not very serious bite. I wanted my shorkie to be socialized amongst dogs and humans which is the reason I brought her to the day care. I told the staff, Yukii does not have any problems when she had her grooming last week when the groomer took her and she did not even bark or growl at her. The groomer calmly talks to her and pets her while leashing her. While your staff did not even give her a chance nor tried to be patient and friendly and getting to know her, Yukii's reaction would have been different. Instead she told me, I had to calm her down myself and then bring her back to day care . I was astonished she was not able to leash my 13 lbs dog but instead afraid of her biting her. Your staff needs better training, if she cannot handle a 13 lbs dog whereas a 50 lbs dog. This staff does not need to be working at a day care center for pets, and she needs more training into how to handle any kind of dogs whether their big or small; trained or temperamental. It shows me she is not animal friendly nor loving. I guess this facility lost a customer as I was not satisfied with the outcome. When I told my office colleagues, everyone just laughs just because she could not handle and leash a 13 lbs dog. Everyone told me just look for another day care. Thus, Pet Paradise is not worth going for day care.
