Renate allows me to bring his bed to rest his weary bones and administers his much needed medications (as well as his treats!).

This is my puppy's first bath and trim (he was about 5 months old). Him being a shih Tzu- I intend to keep his fur long as I do not like the "teddy bear short cut look". Scheduling: Appt scheduling was very simple. Staff was very nice. Appearance: Upon arriving, It can be a little confusing as the sign is not lit up. It's a little past the opening where the Home Store is so be aware to keep going! Inside, it smelled like a old dogs inn. Just like a dog. Didn't feel the clean spa- like feeling I thought I would get. Staff: The staff were not masked, but still nice. I just want to say Lindsay was sooo sweet! The sweetest. Explained things in good detail and really nice. Experience: I asked them to let me know if there were any issues as he is a very scary pup. She told me she would try to save some of his fur as there was a mention it was matted pretty bad. He was shaved balled. My mom picked him up as I was at another appt and she said they kept apologizing and saying "he's alright". He wound up having really bad diarrhea for a few days and when I took him to the vet, they mentioned it was bacteria. It could have came from anywhere but he's not around any other dogs, and thought it was funny he got it right after coming home. I'm thinking because the place was not as clean as I'd hope. They were also a little pricey. The rate was higher than my neighbors who has a Yorkie. In addition, with the extra vet bill, this grooming costs me over $140 so I will mostlikely be searching for a new one. Just as a note, He smelled really good and appeared to be okay but I will not likely take him back.

I found him through the Nextdoor app and relied on his stated experience and trustworthiness. When I returned after five days, my previously healthy, active four-year-old pit bull was unable to walk. I have since spent thousands of dollars on veterinary care, and my dog's quality of life has been permanently altered. To this day, I have not received a clear or consistent explanation. I was told my dog got out, was missing for several hours, and later was found. I was not aware he was even injured until after he was picked up by my brother the next day when my brother noticed he was hurt. Even if that account were accurate, he didn't take any accountability for the fact that my dog's back legs are paralyzed and a clear story hasn't been given. He claims he was standing outside while my dog was chewing the fence to escape but if that's the case why continue to let him chew it? Nothing is making sense and when I asked him about it he got defensive. All I wanted was answers. Three weeks later, my dog is still suffering. He lives in constant pain, cannot walk without assistance, and is largely confined to bed rest. When I contacted this man seeking clarity, I was met with anger and defensiveness rather than accountability or concern. This situation reflects a serious lack of transparency, judgment, and responsibility. I strongly warn others not to entrust this person with the care of their pet.

Therefore, I rescheduled 2 weeks later for another day care session. After 2 weeks, she visited the day care (07/22/2025). Not even 5 minutes after pulling out from the facility, they attempted to call my phone. Having my phone in my pants pocket, I could not retrieve the phone call and Pet Paradise called my daughter instead. I returned the call and was informed urgently to pick up my dog because they could not leash my dog. The staffs were waiting for me to pick up my 13 lbs shorkie just because they could not leash her and afraid that she will bite her. She stated last visit she bite someone. But according to the staff on the previous incident, the person who evaluated her made a quick startle at my shorkie in which caused it. Per staff member, she stated it was not very serious bite. I wanted my shorkie to be socialized amongst dogs and humans which is the reason I brought her to the day care. I told the staff, Yukii does not have any problems when she had her grooming last week when the groomer took her and she did not even bark or growl at her. The groomer calmly talks to her and pets her while leashing her. While your staff did not even give her a chance nor tried to be patient and friendly and getting to know her, Yukii's reaction would have been different. Instead she told me, I had to calm her down myself and then bring her back to day care . I was astonished she was not able to leash my 13 lbs dog but instead afraid of her biting her. Your staff needs better training, if she cannot handle a 13 lbs dog whereas a 50 lbs dog. This staff does not need to be working at a day care center for pets, and she needs more training into how to handle any kind of dogs whether their big or small; trained or temperamental. It shows me she is not animal friendly nor loving. I guess this facility lost a customer as I was not satisfied with the outcome. When I told my office colleagues, everyone just laughs just because she could not handle and leash a 13 lbs dog. Everyone told me just look for another day care. Thus, Pet Paradise is not worth going for day care.

Why We Keep Coming Back: * They stay in Pawville's "townhomes," which are super spacious and include both indoor and outdoor areas--perfect for comfort and play. * We genuinely look forward to the daily photos and email updates the staff sends. It means so much when we're traveling, especially during longer trips--it gives us peace of mind and keeps us connected to our pups. * The facility is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. We were able to tour it before our first booking and felt totally comfortable leaving Ned and Bonita in their care. * Bonus: they offer a multi-pet discount, which is great when you're boarding more than one dog. It's clear the team at Pawville truly cares. We're so thankful to have found a place that treats our dogs like family!

We were told the latest pickup was until 7:00 pm, and we arrived right at 7:00 after communicating our timing. The facility was already closed, and staff refused to release our pets, saying it was "7:01." That level of rigidity was disappointing, especially since we had communicated ahead of time. It also resulted in an extra day of boarding. To make matters worse, two collars were missing at pickup and we had to return again to retrieve them. Unfortunately, not a customer-friendly experience
