I entrusted my dog to this man's care while I was out of town, and the outcome has been…read moredevastating. I found him through the Nextdoor app and relied on his stated experience and trustworthiness. When I returned after five days, my previously healthy, active four-year-old pit bull was unable to walk. I have since spent thousands of dollars on veterinary care, and my dog's quality of life has been permanently altered. To this day, I have not received a clear or consistent explanation. I was told my dog got out, was missing for several hours, and later was found. I was not aware he was even injured until after he was picked up by my brother the next day when my brother noticed he was hurt. Even if that account were accurate, he didn't take any accountability for the fact that my dog's back legs are paralyzed and a clear story hasn't been given. He claims he was standing outside while my dog was chewing the fence to escape but if that's the case why continue to let him chew it? Nothing is making sense and when I asked him about it he got defensive. All I wanted was answers. Three weeks later, my dog is still suffering. He lives in constant pain, cannot walk without assistance, and is largely confined to bed rest. When I contacted this man seeking clarity, I was met with anger and defensiveness rather than accountability or concern. This situation reflects a serious lack of transparency, judgment, and responsibility. I strongly warn others not to entrust this person with the care of their pet.

I used to rate 5 stars but declining customer service of front desk/reception folks leaves me…read morefeeling rattled most times when I go there. This may not matter for those that don't need vet services very often. Vets and techs are very good. I've talked about my concerns about the front office staff/manager with one of the vets, but no changes. One receptionist in particular needs customer service training. I was checking out with another receptionist, who was very nice, and my acct showed a lingering $22 charge. I said I didn't believe I had a balance. The unhelpful woman I avoid pops over because it needed to have 2 people to confront one customer? - she was immediately confrontative, challenging about me owing this $22. I'd thought they were thinking of an add-on lab from April but I paid it from home back then already and she challenged me no, they don't have online pay, so I couldn't have paid, and she's shaking her head. Ok maybe I didn't pay online, then it was over the phone but I paid it from home somehow, that I know. I've been there many times since without issue of owing $. It went like that for a bit - while my 90# dog is pulling on his leash, I'm trying to find my glasses so I can search my emails on my phone, arthritis, age and other disabilities aren't helping here, and I'm being treated like a bad customer (which I am not) - in an environment where I'm not prepared to respond effectively. I have no idea what they are talking about...were they saying a lab (the test, not the dog) got added after the appt? If so I wasn't aware of it & I wasn't billed. At some point I said I hadn't been there in August. "Yes YOU were! You WERE here in August!" [Oh, was I caught in a lie? ] Oh , ok, yes, I recall I was there in August, but I paid for it all before I left. Nothing changed after the appointment. Or, just say what the charge is for, with specificity, for example, it's for urine cortisol, then maybe I'd recall it and it would've been a 2 sentence discussion. But that didn't happen, they just said "an add on" like I work there and know what they're talking about. I've been going here for 15 years. Expected to be back next month. Maybe I'm not trying to screw anyone out of $22? Just a thought. Finally she glances at the computer. Something got added, twice?, after the fact, so I don't owe them anything. No apology. Just walked away. It is fine for there to be a misunderstanding about charges. A bill mishap isn't upsetting to me, if I owed something for whatever reason I'm perfectly happy to correct the error and pay it. It wasn't ok how this person treated me, she was *determined* to convict me (over $22 which is also hilarious). No apology, just an about-face. This is the attitude I face going there. My dog is/was a frequent customer. I do not want to take him for his monthly Cytopoint injections or anything else. They didn't used to be like this. They used to be amazing. This is a trend not an incident.

This is my puppy's first bath and trim (he was about 5 months old). Him being a shih Tzu- I intend to keep his fur long as I do not like the "teddy bear short cut look". Scheduling: Appt scheduling was very simple. Staff was very nice. Appearance: Upon arriving, It can be a little confusing as the sign is not lit up. It's a little past the opening where the Home Store is so be aware to keep going! Inside, it smelled like a old dogs inn. Just like a dog. Didn't feel the clean spa- like feeling I thought I would get. Staff: The staff were not masked, but still nice. I just want to say Lindsay was sooo sweet! The sweetest. Explained things in good detail and really nice. Experience: I asked them to let me know if there were any issues as he is a very scary pup. She told me she would try to save some of his fur as there was a mention it was matted pretty bad. He was shaved balled. My mom picked him up as I was at another appt and she said they kept apologizing and saying "he's alright". He wound up having really bad diarrhea for a few days and when I took him to the vet, they mentioned it was bacteria. It could have came from anywhere but he's not around any other dogs, and thought it was funny he got it right after coming home. I'm thinking because the place was not as clean as I'd hope. They were also a little pricey. The rate was higher than my neighbors who has a Yorkie. In addition, with the extra vet bill, this grooming costs me over $140 so I will mostlikely be searching for a new one. Just as a note, He smelled really good and appeared to be okay but I will not likely take him back.
