I've been here a handful of times now and have been pleased thus far. Initially when I came I brought my puppy in for grooming when that didn't work out Barbara was a big help. Since that time I've been brining my puppy in for daycare a few days a week. Ashley and Magda have been welcoming and are always pleasant when I come in. My very first visit Magda was very helpful and went over everything I would need to know. Unlike some pet daycares my puppy doesn't come bone smelling horribly.

My dog loves it here. I take him often for daycare and this is my second time boarding him. My only wish, especially for boarding, is that they had a Webcam option, even if it was an add-on. Also add the bare minimum a daily email or text update on how your baby is doing would go a long way during boarding.

Very disappointed, i have been going to swanky paws for some time now. Have recommended them to all of my friends , 4 of them which still take their dogs grooming , but after this experience they will no longer take their pups their. One of my dog came back with a ring worm , as shown in the picture after the grooming service. My other dog was terrified and had one ear longer than the other. The front desk staff told me she didn't behave and would charge me extra if she behaved in that way next time, which was weird since she's never had a complain before. I just couldn't believe the negligence . I wish them the best but would no recommend.

Injury/bald spot caused by groomers that they ignored, hid, and wouldn't take any responsibility for.

I've actually never left a negative review before. This incident happened a few months ago but my dog (the one this happened to) was diagnosed with cancer about a week after and the thought of dealing with this was put on the back burner. My dog was groomed here multiple times over a multi-year span without incident but the last time she visited was just so beyond "bad experience" that not only will I never bring her back, I've also had any friends/family I've suggested this place to, stop or avoid going. I had positive experience with front desk workers and Magda, who I believe to be the head groomer but was not in the shop the day of our incident. My dogs head was sliced into and a bald spot was left on it. Now, I've groomed my dog before and I understand that accidents happen. But these people will hide it, cover it up with bows and lie about it after hurting a pet. And that's where I cannot understand or just move on. My dog was groomed for the 4-5th time at swanky paws and sent home with me with bows in her hair but stressed out. When I paid for her the front desk said the groomer made a note that she was difficult and next time they would charge me extra if she acted "like that" -- mind you she's been here multiple times and I've never been warned or told she's acting up - she's well behaved in general and I've never had much an issue with her, much less when she's at the groomer. I didn't think too very much of it beyond it being a little odd until i got home - i live about 20 mins from the shop. When we get home I go to take her little bows off and notice a huge bald spot behind her ear. Then when I look closer, moving the longer hair on her head (they left it longer than they have previously) I notice it's also raw and cut/sliced (the picture.) At first I was irritated that no one mentioned this and sent an email back asking why I was charged full price and told I'd be charged more next time for "behavior" when they had not only *injured my dog* but left a bald spot, covered it up, and not told me... Magda, head groomer, calls me the next day and offers an apology but says she can't do anything and can't confirm or deny what happened when I ask why this happened because she "wasn't there" and "didnt see." Which I would TOTALLY understand if not for.... The owner calling me 3-4 days later and saying she'd "watched the video" (on cameras I wasn't told existed because if I'd known, why couldn't anyone have just answered me when I asked why happened?) and she "has some ideas to bounce around about what might have happened." We got my dogs cancer diagnosis a few days later and I never bothered calling her back partly because I have bigger things to worry about.. like cancer. And partly because they never apologized, never offered a refund, never even took responsibility-- I don't want ideas "bounced off me", I want an explanation, an apology, and a means of correcting the situation so it doesn't happen again. So yeah, they're great for a while, but don't go here if you want a groomer to be honest about what injuries might happen and at least let you know so you can treat them, or if you want your beloved pets groomed by someone who holds themselves accountable for what happens and doesn't try to ignore the blame and concern. Again. Not an unreasonable person. My dog is my child and yet i still understand that accidents happen. But if you injure my dog, at least tell me what happened, don't charge full price when you left a bald spot & injury and then tell me that for the first time in your grooming history with her she's "misbehaving" when you injured her in the first place, and DEFINITELY dont have your owner call and patronize me and beat around the bush with ways for it to not be an employees/businesses fault that this all happened when it absolutely is. Because that's how you lose a loyal returning customer.

Cut on his face from the razor from being cut too low!!

TERRIBLE GROOMING!!! I took my dog there this past Saturday and he looked great when I picked him up. The next day I noticed a sore on his face developing from being cut too low, and also noticed that he was licking his paw and had a limp. When I looked at his paw it was severely scraped and bloody looking from hair being cut too low in the paw of his pad.. NEVER AGAIN!!

They are a new business. Called early morning to see about getting my dog gizmo a grooming. We've moved here for about 4 months now and his hair was crazy long. I was kind of scared taking him to a new groomer. This place looked really nice from the outside. It's clean and the groomer seemed really nice. She took time to calm my dog down. She realized I was new to them. He had a few nats under his ears and legs, but not too bad. Price was fair..the place was pretty big..he was not scared walking in..he definitely was a little nervous, but seemed to calm down before I left. I dropped off at 12. Got the grooming and added the spa package which including brushing and nail rounding, not just cutting.. Got him back at 3. He seemed very happy, not scared, doesn't seem like he was affected at all. I don't see anything wrong with him he's acting like a normal day. I hate leaving my dog at groomers for half a day. Not knowing if he got water or a chance to go out. I will be returning. They were nice and my dog was happy. I don't like chains, so I'm glad to see this one worked out. I think others should give them a try.

Before and After!

This is my first time with a dog groomer. This was my fifth call trying to find a place that would so same day. The receptionist picked up and fit us in the same day. The cost for my mini poodle (12 lbs) for cut, shampoo, nail, and teeth was $70. Great service and results! I will definitely come back.

I took my fur baby in for a Mini Groom - Tiny Dog Less than 15 lbs and a Teeth Brushing for the first time on Oct 3, 2019. After 4 years of professional grooming by other companies, my fur baby has never came home with any bruising or rashes, EVER! After her visit, she has almost a dozen bruises, some the size of a quarter and she's only a 7lb poodle! They did not handle my fur baby with any love or compassion and I am appalled that I paid my hard earn money for them to mistreat and injure her. As soon as I picked her up, I showed them the bruising and they claim it was a "brush rash" so I immediately took her to see the Veternarian who confirmed that she had suffered multiple bruises from the way she was roughly handled at this establishment. In addition, I requested a short face and feet on her cut, and they did not even do that correctly. Therefore, my fur baby was roughly handled and bruised, while I had to pay for this, all for nothing because after she recovers I still have to take her to get the cut that I initially requested. This is the worst experience ever and I had to spend the evening trying to help her through her pain...I'm still heartbroken about this traumatic experience.

So handsome after his bath and groom.

I've been going here for over a year and recommend it to all my friends. Ari loves coming to Swanky Paws, in fact he never wants to leave when it's time to go home. What sets Swanky Paws apart from other groomers is the level of care they take with the animals. Everyone has a great attitude and make sure that the animals' safety and comfort are nothing short of perfection! It brings peace to my mind knowing that I'm leaving my baby in good hands. I love that they have a play area for the dogs to wait in. A groom is normally 4 hours for Ari and I can't imagine him being locked up the entire time. The quality of his bath and groom is also always amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

I found him through the Nextdoor app and relied on his stated experience and trustworthiness. When I returned after five days, my previously healthy, active four-year-old pit bull was unable to walk. I have since spent thousands of dollars on veterinary care, and my dog's quality of life has been permanently altered. To this day, I have not received a clear or consistent explanation. I was told my dog got out, was missing for several hours, and later was found. I was not aware he was even injured until after he was picked up by my brother the next day when my brother noticed he was hurt. Even if that account were accurate, he didn't take any accountability for the fact that my dog's back legs are paralyzed and a clear story hasn't been given. He claims he was standing outside while my dog was chewing the fence to escape but if that's the case why continue to let him chew it? Nothing is making sense and when I asked him about it he got defensive. All I wanted was answers. Three weeks later, my dog is still suffering. He lives in constant pain, cannot walk without assistance, and is largely confined to bed rest. When I contacted this man seeking clarity, I was met with anger and defensiveness rather than accountability or concern. This situation reflects a serious lack of transparency, judgment, and responsibility. I strongly warn others not to entrust this person with the care of their pet.

She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

This is my puppy's first bath and trim (he was about 5 months old). Him being a shih Tzu- I intend to keep his fur long as I do not like the "teddy bear short cut look". Scheduling: Appt scheduling was very simple. Staff was very nice. Appearance: Upon arriving, It can be a little confusing as the sign is not lit up. It's a little past the opening where the Home Store is so be aware to keep going! Inside, it smelled like a old dogs inn. Just like a dog. Didn't feel the clean spa- like feeling I thought I would get. Staff: The staff were not masked, but still nice. I just want to say Lindsay was sooo sweet! The sweetest. Explained things in good detail and really nice. Experience: I asked them to let me know if there were any issues as he is a very scary pup. She told me she would try to save some of his fur as there was a mention it was matted pretty bad. He was shaved balled. My mom picked him up as I was at another appt and she said they kept apologizing and saying "he's alright". He wound up having really bad diarrhea for a few days and when I took him to the vet, they mentioned it was bacteria. It could have came from anywhere but he's not around any other dogs, and thought it was funny he got it right after coming home. I'm thinking because the place was not as clean as I'd hope. They were also a little pricey. The rate was higher than my neighbors who has a Yorkie. In addition, with the extra vet bill, this grooming costs me over $140 so I will mostlikely be searching for a new one. Just as a note, He smelled really good and appeared to be okay but I will not likely take him back.

The doctor took his temperature, did a quick checkup, and said he was fine -- then sent us home.
