I have to agree with U.W review on Sept 20, 2025. My Standard Poodle has been going to Allure for at least 4 years, he will be six in June. Jana has done a wonderful job technically but her defensive attitude when you bring a concern is horrible. She needs client communication 101 help. Her new groomer has done a great job but in April 2025 and on Jan 30, 2026, Shadow has left with an infection his sheath of penis was infected both time and noticed the next day after left. In April I brought it to the groomer attention. Jana was not there. The groomer response was we clean out grooming tool per each dog. Not taking accountability at all. After his grooming on 1/30/2026 -two days later I noticed my dogs sheath was irritated. In both situation I provided photos. Jana responded via text very defensive, negative, chastising me for allowing him to continuously lick (which I do not do at all, I stopped my boy immediately when I see him do that.). She started saying he was matted in that sanitary area and t6ha he had discharged while grooming and this was the second time (Jana did not make me aware of it the first time). The interesting part was when I picked asked him and asked (as I always have) how he was the response from Jana and the other groomer was he was fine and we talked a bit and set up the next appointment of 3/17/2026. Not one time was I told about his matting, or discharge or anything until I brought the second concern (with photos) of the irritated penis. Jana went on me in her text message response. I am not making this up . I realized then that accountability is not business strong suit. I even told her things happen, but I was as getting concern this was the second time. Needless to say, I cancelled my future appointment. Allure has great groomer with good technical skills but Jana's attitude, her defensive responses and the horrible client communication is "matted" and needs "grooming"---,no soft skills at all. read more

I have been taking my three Maltese to this groomer for more than 20 years. For two decades, my dogs were always beautifully groomed and never once shaved down. That all changed when Janna took over as owner/manager and brought in a new groomer last year, Lateesha. Since then, every visit has been a nightmare. Lateesha shaves my dog down every single time with the excuse that he is "matted." EVERY SINGLE TIME! Lies. In over 20 years, this never once happened with the previous groomer. It is pure laziness and shows a lack of skill. She even cut the length of my dog's tail, which was completely unnecessary and cruel. It has never grown back! On my last visit, I tried to avoid Lateesha and asked for a different groomer. They gave me Amanda, but it was clear Lateesha had already said something to her. Amanda immediately claimed my dog was "matted" and then used a FLEA COMB...yes, a flea comb...to try to "prove" it. She started raking at the hair from the root, which is obviously impossible and completely inappropriate. Lateesha was in the background wearing earbuds but listening to the entire encounter and shaking her head as if I was trouble. That was the final straw. I gathered my dog and told her I would not be returning, but I would like to hear from the owner. Janna, the owner, is no better. She is more concerned with showing dogs and being away than running this business or making sure clients' dogs are properly groomed. I asked that she call me about what happened, and of course she never did. No follow up, no apology, no accountability. This place has gone from a trusted groomer to a disgrace. Janna is absent and careless, Lateesha is lazy and unskilled, and Amanda followed right in line with their excuses. After DECADES of loyalty, I will never bring my dogs back. If you value your pets, stay far away from Janna and her team. Note: I haven't heard from Janna, but I'm sure her trademark defensive rebuttal (complete with attitude and accusations of matting, as in past reviews) will appear in record time. read more

Jana does a great job with our two Airedales. It is not easy to find an Airedale groomer so we are delighted.

These people have TERRIBLE customer service. My sweet small poodle had been there several times but I suppose once he got hurt or scared when his nails were being clipped, he may have gotten a bit aggressive or growled.....now the owner Jenny refuses to groom him b/c she 'doesn't want to groom any aggressive dogs'. Seriously? You're a pet grooming company; sometimes dogs may get scared when they're nails are being clipped so learn how to deal with it. So unless you have a 'perfect dog' who never barks or growls while being groomed, don't waste your time with these people. They're rude as hell! I've since been taking my dog to another groomer and she has no complaints about him and loves him. read more

I wanted to find a place that is good with quality, knowledge , time and also availability. Being a business owner myself I usually don't like writing bad reviews. In fact, this is the second one in my 50 something years of life. I unfortunately was so insulted and frustrated that I had to alert others. First, the phone is rarely answered. We can understand because perhaps they are tied up with grooming, however, there are pet salons that do answer when called. We called earlier this week to schedule an appointment and of course had to leave a message. Someone did call back (the next day), and said they could put them on at 8 on Sat. We called back to confirm 1 hour later. We requested a call back to confirm they got the message. We never received one. We called back the Thursday before the appointment to confirm because we had not heard from them. Someone actually answered the phone and said we were all set for 8:30. We had no problem adjusting from the original time, so agreed. Less than five minutes later we received a return call stating that we had no appointment because we never returned an alleged call stating that they filled the 8:00 slot and we were offered 8:30 as a favor. Since we didn't respond to this offer, our spot was taken. WE NEVER RECEIVED THAT CALL changing the time to 8:30. When we politely shared that we hadn't received that call, one the staff member (Jennifer), said that she was standing right next to the other staff worker while she called. I suggested that perhaps she dialed a number off or something. We understand that no one is perfect and sometimes mistakes are made. She adamantly corrected me that a situation like that could NEVER happen. So I guess we have finally met perfect people. I shared that it was not professional nor did I like being displayed as someone not telling the truth. She argumentatively said that she didn't appreciate being called a lier!! I never called her that, but tried to reason with her that there could have been an error. She then went on to say that she was sorry for my confusion (still making me feel that I was the one confused), and said she would take them at 8:30 but they would be last and she didn't know when they would be ready. Her attitude even through this was still very ugly. At this point after 8 years, we made the decision to go elsewhere. As a customer we shouldn't have to have staff argue with us, deal with pride, and people who will not admit that they could possibly be wrong. We honestly really did not get that message. We tried to reason with her, but got no where. We left because this is the second time we have had to deal with this Jennifer person. The first time we shared how it was hard to reach them and get call backs ( just trying to let them know to help), however we were reprimanded. I thought the customer was always right. Where is the customer service? Unacceptable, so this time, we are sadly done!!!! read more

I was very impressed by the service provided at this pet salon. I was out of town and my Boston desperately needed a bath. I got a same day appointment and the staff was very nice. They were excited to meet my dog and were very welcoming when he arrived. I did notice, however, that they didn't give me options for a type of shampoo--but I didn't ask either so this is not to say they didn't have options. When I picked up my little one, his coat was shiny, his nails clipped and he smelled great. They also did a great job of getting out embedded hairs, as I haven't seen any evidence of shedding in days--always a plus when we are house guests. What I really like about the grooming here is that they don't have the cage dryers. Each dog is hand dried, which is great for my easily- stressed pooch.They even had a little comment card lauding his good behavior, and the entire staff had good things to say about how "cool" my dog is--that means a lot. I am definitely going back when I am in the Lilburn area. read more

This seems to be the only place around that truly knows how to cut a long haired shih tzus coat correctly. I dint trust anyone else with my little dogs coat. The people who work there are very friendly. read more

The first time I took Zeek to get his hair shaved down and face styled, I left less than impressed. He had a patch of hair left on his back, the length was all misshapen, and the feet did not look trimmed well at all. I also noticed that he didn't "smell" like he had a bath, but I chalked it up to this being his first time. I took him back a second time, and not only did I have to ask Denise to fix spots 2 or 3 times, but AGAIN he looked dirty as if he had not been bathed. AND to make matters worse... while "pulling" the hair our of his ears and "cleaning" it, he got an ear infection and I ended up spending a beaucoup of money to make it better. AWFUL place, don't trust your babies here!!! read more

Love this place~ I got to know Kyong ( Lady that works there) about 6~7 years ago, she has been cutting my dog's hair since. Before that, it was really difficult to find someone that really cut my maltese hair very well. Not only does she cut my baby's hair well, she has been extremely personable. I always call her when my dog is ill or any concern I have with my dog because she truely cares for all the dogs and does everything that she could to really help me and give me good advice. It's a little bit of a drive for me about 30 ~ 40 mins, but it's worth it!! I have no plans on changing unless I move out of state. read more

We have been customers here for many years. Two days ago I called to set an appointment for my 2 dogs. Someone called me the next day stating that there was an 8:00 am appointment available on Saturday. I called them back an hour after they called me stating to go ahead and put my dogs down for 8:00 am on Saturday, but to call me back and confirm the appointment. No one ever called me back to confirm the appointment. So today I called them back and was told, "we did call you call back to confirm and 8:30 appointment, but too never called us back." I never received a phone call from them asking about the 8:30 appointment. The person on that phone debated with me that they called me back to confirm this appointment. You shouldn't debate with customers as this is a sure way to lose them. I simply stated that it could be possible that perhaps they dialed the wrong number or made a mistake. I was told, "there was no mistake and no error made on our end, we called you and left a message." How arrogant and prideful to make a comment like this to a customer and not recognize that sometimes mistakes can happen even within your own organization. They displayed very poor customer service and after years of bringing my dogs their, they've officially lost me as a customer. I will never return. Be aware of poor customer service as well as they barely answer the phone to make an appointment. They would rather debate with customers more than care if they lose one. read more

I recommend this Pet Salon to everyone I know! I love Denise and all the hard work they put into my "difficult" Yorkie. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pet as she is so hard to handle. I have been searching for a groomer that does great work and that I felt I could trust with my little Maltese. I am very impressed with Allure. Denise was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about my dogs health. I wasn't nervous about leaving him with her because she took her time talking with me about him, some of his health issues, and how I would like him cut. I picked him up a short while later and he looked amazing and he was very happy. Denise made sure that I was pleased with his look. I will definitely keep coming back!! read more
