Honestly, such an amazing experience living here. I have lived here 2 years now and have just resigned for a third. I'll try to break down my experience. Complex and Grounds: BEAUTIFUL. The grounds are so well maintained and with all the green grass fields and lush trees it truly feels like we are living someone other than the Arizona desert sometimes. I am fortunate in that I have a unit the faces towards the interior of the complex and I have wonderful views of the pool and other communal areas. But the rest of the complex is amazing too. I have looked at almost every other complex in the Tempe/Mesa/Scottsdale corridor and this one is by far the most attractive. Staff: Holy wow are they good. Special shout out to Jessica at the front office for being absolutely stellar. She is not only super friendly whenever I have interacted with her, but I can tell she makes it a personal priority to have any questions or concerns I've had promptly addressed. Again, the grounds staff do an amazing job. Maintenance staff is always on point as well. I've never had to wait more than a day or two for something to be fixed and they don't beat around the bush if something needs to be replaced all together. I had my dishwasher and washer replaced recently with no issues and no haggle. Homes: The homes are great and very cozy and actually feel like small homes. The layouts are great and spacious. I have a 1-bedroom unit with the wrap around balcony. I have also been in some of the other units and can say that things are consistent. Love the fireplace, the balconies are HUGE, and the over sized windows let in so much natural light it's fantastic (they also have screen coverings to help with heat). The only thing I would be nit-picky on is the appliances can seem a little dated. BUT they do work great and like I mentioned, if something does go wrong, IMT has proven to me they will do what they can to make it right. Location: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! Right across the street from the Cubs Spring training center, Smack between Tempe Marketplace and Mesa Riverview with tons of shops, grocers, dining, bars, etc. I never have to leave more than a mile for hardly anything. It is also only about three miles from downtown Tempe and the Mill Ave. district. Across the street is also Riverview park and is one of the nicest parks in the area in my opinion. There is also a walking/biking path that starts at Riverview park and can be taken all the way to the west end of Tempe Town Lake and even up into the Scottsdale greenbelt. Conclusion: I definitely think IMT is worthy of 5 stars. Take these other lower end review with a grain of salt. I've lived in bad apartments before, IMT has been fantastic about everything. read more

I moved in a few months ago and the process was a breeze. The front desk guy (I forget his name) signed us both in after thoroughly going through the fees and any "gotchas" with the process. I also appreciate how IMT has a fee structure as to what you pay if something goes uncleaned because often time the management will just charge you whatever they want after you leave with no guesses as to what they cleaned. The noise has been minimal even living on the north side by Rio Salado. There aren't a lot of free spots to park, but there are plenty by the leasing office or along the east side road. This complex has a great location where one could easily walk across the street to Mesa Riverview and rent a bike along the riverwalk or watch a baseball game. Our washer didn't work properly when we moved in. A brand new washer was delivered after a simple online service request and a few days of wait. All of the other appliances work decently enough for the price paid. Our unit came with a workable fireplace which was a pleasant surprise. The patio gives ample space for storage or a some seating. The pool area is well cleaned and the hot tub has always worked for us. The grills also work, albeit slow at cooking. The payment system is a breeze and does not incur any stereotypical "service" fee of using an online payment website like other places. The trash/water/gas fees are also within an acceptable range. So far so good! read more

I recently got out of the Marine core after my third deployment. While on leave and otherwise stateside, I've been staying with my parents for the last few years. Well, finally got my DD214's in November, and it was a nightmare from there. I got home early December, and immediately started trying to find a more permanent residence. Having joined at 18 & being 22 now, a lot had changed for me when I came home. The first apartments I tried to move into had a management team SO rude and apathetic, I walked out. After serving, all I'm asking for here is to be treated with some decency and some respect, just like everybody else. I heard from a friend that there were some open spots at the IMT Riverview apartments, right across the street from the Cubs training park. I went straight there the next day around 10am, and I spoke with Colin Gunvill who was an absolute breath of fresh air. He understood my need for housing FAST and went above and beyond for me. I'll be moving in this Friday, and I have to take a moment to recommend Colin. He's an absolute good dude. He took the time to process everything for me as fast as he could, and I'm forever thankful. He was respectful, courteous & compassionate towards me as a vet. For my friends who aren't stateside right now, I'll be referring them to him when they return home. Thank you, Colin! read more

Living the Dream at IMT Riverview Five 5 months in and I still can't get over how amazing this place is to come home to. The entertainment lounge sets the tone right away gold pendant lighting, a popcorn machine, a fully stocked coffee bar, and little touches like a handwritten "Donut forget you're an awesome dad" sign for Father's Day, complete with a fresh dozen Krispy Kremes and ice-cold lemonade. But honestly, what makes IMT Riverview stand out is the front office team. They're top tier happy to help with anything residential, but just as happy to stop and hear about your day. That kind of genuine, personal touch is rare, and it's a huge part of why this place feels like a community and not just an apartment complex. It's the small stuff that adds up: walking down for a coffee and a chocolate sprinkle donut on a random morning, grabbing a bag of trail mix from the snack basket, chatting with the staff who actually remember your name. Five months of mornings like this, and I'm still smiling about it. If you're considering IMT Riverview, this is exactly the kind of everyday detail and everyday people that make it feel like home. Living the dream, one donut (and one good conversation) at a time. read more

I have lived at IMT riverview since November of 2020. From the showing of the apartment (which was virtually due to being states away) to the move In process, everything was smooth and well communicated. I felt very welcome and did up until move out. Kim in the front office is nothing short of amazing. Great communication, remembers my name (and my dog's name) and always is welcoming into the office. The maintenance team has always been a pleasure to work with. From some mishaps with my dog to simple light changes, they always are willing to go above and beyond. The community in general is well kept and clean. I felt safe as a single female walking around even at night (with my dog). Most of the dog owners pick up after their pets and are respectful of asking permission before letting their dog come up to yours. Noise level (from my building at least) was minimal even with being across the street from the Cubs facility. I also didn't hear much noise from my neighbors. Highly recommend Thank you to IMT for making this place my home for the last 2.5 years. I greatly appreciate everything you've done to make it feel like home Much love, Katherine and Niko read more

I love IMT Riverview so much! I been here two about to be three years in a month. Out of the many apartments I've lived at there's so much that sticks out about IMT that makes up for the high rent because of the quality of service we get and the space and quietness of the community. To start off, the front office ladies Kayla and Kim are the best, always doing everything to help you, they are great with communication, their professional yet able to be empathetic to your concerns or needs, and their really good at their jobs. Yall ladies are the best! Also, they have security around at all times which brings me comfort. Then something I'm also grateful for is the maintenance, every time we need anything if it's an emergency they call me right back after leaving a message on the emergency line after hours, no matter how late it is, which is why I'm so grateful to you all for your hard work in a community we call home. read more

I have lived here over seven years now. So convenient to everything. Shopping, work, entertainment, Sloan Park and Chicago Cubs, health care, freeways 101, 202 and the 60. I forgot to mention ASU and MCC. You can get anywhere is a very short amount of time. The apartments are well maintained and anytime I need a little quick fix in the apartment, the superior maintenance team is there that same day that I call. The landscaping crew also does an amazing job. The complex is quiet. Nice mix of age groups and some well behaved children and pets and pet parents. The pool area is like any nice resort I have ever stayed. Includes hot tub spa and BBQ's. There is also a fitness center and business center with computer to use if needed. Assigned parking and plenty of visitor parking too. Love the staff and love to call this place home. read more

They like to argue over the phone and hang up on people. The price of the complex doesn't match the amount you pay for. I left because they wanted to 1500+ for a one bedroom one bath apartment that's utterly ridiculous. One of the managers is very argumentative over the phone. All I asked was how can I pay the bill left over from move out and he started to tell me this and that and got very aggressive and argumentative. They don't like to be audio recorded ( Juan Luna is the argumentative and aggressive person I spoke too) can't talk to anyone any type of way. IMT you gotta do better and train your staff on angry management and how to speak to people. My personal opinion don't rent here management is 5/10 but Kim thank you for being so kind to me while I stayed there I appreciate you. Kim 10/10 read more

Good point -- that wording does sound a bit off in your situation. Here's a more natural version: I've had a great experience and want to share my appreciation. Alexis was amazing throughout my move-in process. She is kind, hardworking, and very professional. She made everything simple and stress-free, and I'm truly grateful for all her help. I also want to thank Kim for her excellent support and responsiveness. Both of them have been extremely helpful and welcoming since I moved in. The IMT Riverview community is peaceful, clean, and well-maintained. It has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, which I really appreciate. My apartment is beautiful, comfortable, and truly feels like home. Overall, I'm very happy here and thankful for such a positive experience. read more

So far IMT Riverview has been my best apartment experience in Arizona. I randomly walked in one day and Kim up front was extremely genuine and kind. Right on the spot she helped me tour and see the community. Kim made it very seamless moving in and everyone has been so hospitable, she managed to get us our desired floor, garage, and even added wood flooring for us before we actually moved in. During the first day we had an issue with showers not having cold water, within 3 hours of me putting that service request in, a gentleman named Alex showed up and fixed the issue. Thank you Alex! I was blown away by how quick and kind maintenance was! I am excited to live here, it is quiet and clean and close to the 101. read more

I moved out of this complex about a month ago, due to some issues with a roommate. Even though I am still paying rent here due to my lease not yet being up for a little while, this was at no fault of the complex. It a beautiful complex, and the staff is EXCELLENT. Collin, the manager of the complex, was extremely professional, helpful and accommodating, and has done everything in his power to help make my negative situation as positive as possible. I also had some maintenance work done as well before leaving, and Kyle did an excellent job and was so helpful and prompt. The front office has made my negative situation as positive as they can, and I am extremely grateful for this! Bummed I had to move out. read more

My fiancé and I moved into IMT Riverview April of 2025. It was an incredible process from start to finish. When we first walked into the leasing office we were greeted by Kim a wonderful woman who knows her stuff. She found the perfect 1 bed 1 bath for our needs. Showed us layout options side by side and pulled up images on her computer so we could visualize everything before she allowed us to tour the apartments that fit our needs best. Now, in 2026 we are still in love with our space and are renewing! The amenities here are great, staff is kind and maintenance reply's almost immediately or same day for any concerns we may have. Couldn't recommend living here more!!! IMT Riverview is the way to go! read more

Luxury Living for Less When my boyfriend and I moved in about two months ago, the people who work there were really nice and helpful. They made moving in easy. The best part is when something needs fixing in your apartment, they come to fix it really quickly. Other places I've lived in made me wait a long time, but not here! There are also cool things you can use, like a nice gym and fun places to hang out with your friends. And guess what? Living here doesn't cost a lot, which is awesome! It's even walking distance from Mesa Riverview Park. So, if you want to live in a fancy place where the people are friendly, things get fixed fast, and it doesn't cost too much, we would highly recommend it! read more

Great Service from Alex - Excellent Maintenance Work! I want to give a huge shout-out to Alex for his outstanding work on repairing a water leak that occurred due to heavy rainfall. As soon as the issue was reported, Alex acted quickly and professionally. He was efficient, reliable, and made sure everything was fixed in no time. The leak could have caused a lot of damage, but thanks to Alex's prompt attention and skill, the problem was solved before it got worse. He made sure the area was safe and clean after the work was done, which I really appreciated. If you ever have an issue that needs attention, I highly recommend reaching out to Alex. He's definitely someone you can trust! read more

I've had the pleasure of interacting with Arturo several times for maintenance requests, and he's consistently professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Whether it's a small repair or a more involved issue, Arturo always shows up promptly and gets the job done right the first time. He explains what he's doing clearly and makes sure everything is clean and in good shape before he leaves. Arturo goes above and beyond--he takes pride in his work, treats your space with care, and genuinely seems to care about residents' comfort and safety. It's reassuring to know that someone so dependable is part of the maintenance team. Thanks for everything, Arturo! read more

I absolutely love living here. Super close to the freeway, as well as downtown Tempe and Tempe Marketplace. Everyone who works here has been incredibly helpful and kind. Shoutout to Kaila and Thomas who absolute rockstars!!! Thank you so much for all you do! Update: the dryer in my unit was having a hard time drying due to build-up in the dryer vent. John and Arturo with maintenance came by and spent a good amount of time clearing out the vent. It was no small task. The vent was super clogged. Now my dryer works excellent. Thank you John and Arturo!! read more

Wow where to begin, Kaila has been so awesome and Kim whenever I would call in and needed anything, they went above and beyond. I can't thank Kaila enough for truly all she has done for my family! I just received the keys to my new apartment and from start to finish the process of getting the apartment was made so much easier by Alexis!! She was incredibly communicative and patient throughout and had a genuine interest in helping us get the best apartment for our needs! This is the second time I'm moving in to IMT and everything about their standards, excellent leasing agents, and beautiful property has stayed the exact same. Can't recommend it here more! read more

This is an older apartment complex, so we've made good use of the maintenance staff. Arturo has fixed many issues in our apartment. Every time he helps us, he shows up with a smile on his face. On Mother's Day, our A/C unit started emitting a horrible odor. I shut it off and called the emergency number. I was envisioning spending the rest of the day and night without A/C, but Arturo showed up, smiling, and had it fixed in no time at all. He saved the day! read more
