    I moved to Arizona from Georgia and leased site unseen but throughout the process the staff was incredible about sending pictures, videos, and answering all my many questions. I've lived here for 2 years now and plan on renewing my lease again. Adam and Selena are fantastic! Everyone on the team both office and maintenance is friendly and helpful. Work orders get done quickly and the community always looks clean. Its worth every penny to love where you live!

    We moved in about 15 days ago and everything has been pretty much perfect! I'm pretty shocked to see negative comments about the office staff. When we toured the apartments they were extremely friendly, and even when there was an error on their background check that initially disqualified us from moving in, the staff was very friendly, professional, and helped us get the matter resolved. Long story short, they use a 3rd party for their background screenings and the 3rd party got some bad information. We contacted them and it was resolved the same day. The staff had no issue holding our apartment for us while we worked with the 3rd party to get the matter resolved. Another issue I've read about is train noise. Yes, there is a railroad track right next to the property and the trains run night and day. I'd say there's roughly 3-5 that run throughout a 24 hour period. The first night here I woke up due to a train blowing it's horn, but since the first night I haven't had issues. I'm not the deepest of sleepers either, but I guess I got used to the noise pretty fast. The actual sound of the train on the tracks is like white noise, and not every train that goes by blows the horn. Our unit is located facing the courtyard so I can't speak to the train noise volume for those units facing the tracks. The actual apartment units are wonderful. When we moved in everything was spotless. There are a few very small issues such as the cabinet door where the garbage can goes not closing all the way and some paint chipping from the bottom of a door trim. When we brought these things up in our move in check list they immediately offered to send someone over to fix them, but honestly it's not even necessary. You would have to really be nit picking to even notice this stuff. Soft closing drawers, beautiful subway tile in the bathrooms and kitchen, brand new stainless steel appliances, huge over sized sliding glass doors, high ceilings, big balconies, beautiful vinyl flooring... I mean there's not much else you could really ask for. The only thing that would be nice to have would be a wifi thermostat, but again, I'm nit picking. The neighbors seem very pleasant and friendly. Everyone says hello when you walk by them, most people are pretty good at cleaning up their dog's poop, and so far nobody has been blasting music or TV at odd hours of the night. As far as noise goes, you can hear people above you when they are walking around with shoes on, but honestly that's to be expected in an apartment complex and it's much less noisy than any other apartment I've lived in. We did a lot of research prior to moving here and this place checked all the boxes for us. You can easily walk to downtown Gilbert where there are tons of new bars and restaurants. The amenities in the complex are awesome including a nice gym with free weights, squat rack, and even a Peloton bike. A pool and hot tub that are both heated. Grills scattered around the property so you don't have to venture very far to get your BBQ game on. Valet trash service 5 days a week so you don't even have to walk your trash down to the dumpsters. Cable and internet included which surprisingly has great connection speeds (over 100mbps over wifi) and a number of channels. They even have an app that you can download that has a profile for all of the residents and their pets. (You don't have to have a public profile if you don't want to.) You can set up play dates for your dogs on the app, sign up for dating, get notifications about packages being delivered, pay your rent, and get notified about the many community events that are happening. Just last weekend they had a wine & paint event and they have food trucks scheduled nearly once a week. I know this is long winded and I know I've only been here for a few weeks, but I gotta give credit when it's due and this place has been awesome for us so far. If anything changes I'll be sure to update my review. Hopefully these good reviews don't lead to the rent being raised at the end of the lease because we plan to stay here for awhile.

It is a resort style apartment which is obvious when you see the outdoor amenities. The pool is huge and wonderfully up-kept, and the outdoor grills, seats, and rooftop area are beautiful. The manager Glenn runs the property very well, he hosts events frequently to get the community together with themed events, and everyone is very friendly there. Maintenance was extremely infrequent for me, but when I needed any, I received it same day and sometimes same hour. Maybe the best part of the standard is its location. One block from the start of old town Scottsdale makes it an easy walk to the many shops, art exhibits, and great food options. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to live in old town to take a look at the standard!!

This is the BEST apartment complex in Mesa/Gilbert you could possibly find. The apartment itself is gorgeous! Everyone who comes to visit us compliments the beautiful large kitchen and abundant storage space. It definitely is a LUXURY apartment! The complex is beautifully maintained, the amenities are incredible and the staff is extremely responsive and helpful 100% of the time. I love that everything is accessible via the Henri app which makes paying rent, maintenance requests and updates to the community easy to access at all hours of the day. The maintenance team is tremendously helpful as well and fixes any issues the same day or early the next day after submitting via the app. I also feel very safe here as it is gated and there is security at night that patrols . You are able to message them directly via the app as well. There are resident appreciation parties put together by the staff, amazing food trucks scheduled weekly, fun contests and an overall wonderful community dynamic! If you have the opportunity to live here you won't regret it!

Staff needs trained properly and protocols put in place to make sure things are actually getting handled. When you live at an apartment community you know that you will come across problems here and there but having an efficient staff that is able to handle those issues in a timely manner and with good communication is really what's important. This is the worst experience we've ever had nobody ever knows anything or can give you an actual answer. I sent in a work order June 9th for an electrical issue the bedroom light won't stay on longer than a couple minutes at a time they keep closing the work orders without fixing anything or just let them sit weeks at a time. 5 weeks later and it's still not done. (Note on first closed work order was "done." It was not done. Last time was "I went and knocked on the door resident said we already came but maybe it wasn't the resident I don't know I can go back and check") what? lol and then proceeded to never come back again after I told them they actually never came. Whenever you finally get a hold of someone and explain they say they will handle it and then nothing, every single time. Last week I sent in another work order because our cabinets are infested with hundreds of ants I've had to throw away all kinds of food and huge live roaches have started coming out of the drains and bathtubs. I asked for new weather stripping on the door because you can see outside with the door closed there's a huge gap where all the ants are coming in and for it to be sprayed. I asked for it to be taken care of that day or the next at the latest but they didn't send anybody for 5 days, finally they sent someone to spray (still no weather strip) but they once again dropped the ball and didn't give him keys or permission to enter even though I approved entry. When you tell them they're wrong they just ignore you. I called after I found out he didn't spray and told them they need to have him come right back and I've still received no response so once again we're sleeping with roaches but paying over $2500 a month? I'm still unable to buy new groceries until we get the infestation taken care of. They work remote you can't actually go to the office and talk to someone we've been here 6 months and I've never once met anyone it's horribly mismanaged and instead of holding themselves and their co workers accountable and trying to do a better job they just don't do anything at all it's been extremely frustrating. Seems as though all the other real reviews have the same complaints about staff I added them to the pictures as well as my own.

    Great community w/awesome neighbors from all over the country and Arizona…read more We do a lot of things together--the latest was a Memorial Day cookout, and before that, a Derby Party. We watch sports events together in the clubhouse on the huge tv screen ( Lot of resident-led classes, so we get to do & learn what we want at no cost--walking, writing, book club, art, music, Bunco, bingo, poker, dominoes, pickleball, & volleyball are some of the great offerings. British tea every other Wednesday is a fun & friendly activity for mostly women, but men are invited too. No raised pinkies there! Weekly "happy hour"potlucks are where neighbors catch up & share what we've done that week & in our travels & lives. Saturday AM coffee is a low-key gathering where newcomers can come & learn about our community and neighbors can catch up. Our maintenance guys Buddy & Marek deserve gold medals--they are quick to help & highly knowledgeable. All the staff here is helpful too (big shout-out to Alyse our activities director who brings us topnotch creative ideas, classes, and activities and dear smart Kate who answers every question --and if she doesn't know the answer immediately, she'll find out!) We've been here six months and are loving it, particularly our wonderful neighbors & friends we've made. We're enjoying everyone! Bless you all!!

    They will break Arizona tenant law just to keep some of your money!…read more For 1.5yrs I had no issues with this apartment complex until they started overcharging me for utilities. These were fixed rate utilities in the lease that continued to be overcharged at variable rates month after month. I had to contact them constantly as emails were often ignored, and have them return overpaid money and fix the upcoming bill before I was actually overcharged. This went on for over 7 months, and if I didn't catch it myself, would have paid over $100 in overcharged utilities After move out, they did not provide an itemized list of deductions from my security deposit. I waited 18 business days (14 days is the legal AZ limit), and also 3 unanswered emails just to get a response. They ended up keeping $140 for "painting" a near spotless apartment... They also did not provide proof to this claim and painting cost, as which I have photos of the entire place at move-in and move-out that show it was left in the same condition. I know this charge was a money grab as we received an email a month before moving to expect a number of 'additional fees' at move out. No one had been in our apartment and knew the state it was in, they were just anticipating to charge us for items that weren't true. To be clear, NONE OF THIS IS AGREED UPON IN THE LEASE. If you can avoid this place, do it. The lack of transparency and shady business practices are not worth your time.

I want to give Steven a big shout out because even when I was locked out of my apartment, he didn't hesitate to climb a ladder to open my apartment for me. I've had crappy apartment management and I also had good ones. This is by far the best already. With the apartment itself, It's a plus when the amenities are everything I'm looking for. The neighborhood is quiet and you'll feel safe, and Downtown Gilbert is only a 5 minute drive.
