(aka the clowns) in charge. This place has gone seriously downhill with them and downhill fast!! They focus on the petty things, instead of things that matter to the residents. The apts are nice. But the property isn't well maintained. Dog poop everywhere! Dog pee all over the stairs and landings of stairwells. Newer tenants loud during quiet hours, dogs constantly barking. They'll tell you the train isn't that bad. lol ya ok. ITS A TRAIN!! Not only can you hear it, YOU CAN FEEL IT! Shakes the entire apt. It's bad. Quiet time til 8 am but they have landscapers mowing every Friday at 630am, sometimes earlier sometimes later. If you face the courtyard, every conversation echos, along with kids screaming and dogs barking but it's amplified. Happens at all hours, so you better be a deep sleeper. Parking is an absolute joke. They send Richard the special maint guy to ask for good reviews after he does his job fixing something. That shows you how desperate they are to fix their google rating. Pawning your helper to solicit good reviews? After doing his job, and poorly at that. Pathetic. You will have your package stolen at some point. Probably other tenants. Way overpriced for the crap you have to deal with. It was tolerable before Kyndell, but now it's time to move on. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. I promise you that. We had our apt tested for mold and it came back positive. They send Richard in with a moisture monitor he doesn't know how to use. Guy says he's never seen mold either! What is he don't making these decisions for such a large company. Everything about this place is now a joke.

I think I have put in more maintenance request in the first 3 weeks living here than I did at the last place I lived at for 6 years. I was told I had to move within 2 weeks of applying. That really wasn't enough time for me but i still accepted the terms since I had to. The problem is, the apartment wasn't ready for me. First, the ants. I think there was an ant convention and they all came to visit my place. It wasn't until day 2. They took over my bathroom. I had to throw away so many of my products I loved. Day 3 they came and infested my kitchen cabinets. Had to throw away a bunch of more stuff. Day 4 they marched across the walls into my garbage disposal and found a new cabinet to infest. They came out and sprayed and that took care of my kitchen but unfortunately not the ptsd. A week later the ants were back in my laundry room. They added bait and so far it's okay. Onto the next issue, the ice maker. I'm happy to say it is fixed but it took 3 requests for that. Then the alarm system didn't work. That is also fixed now. Then the carpet was sliced open in 2 spots. This is also fixed now. And now the newest thing is my garage door will no longer close and I have stuff stored in there. This happened yesterday. I left a message yesterday. I was told how I can manually close it after I left for work last night. Problem is it doesn't look like you can manually close it with your car parked there. I was hoping someone would fix the garage issue asap considering i have already lost items from the ant issue that was here prior to me moving in. I don't want want my items stolen. I know these are all small things and eventually fixed but that is a lot and is frustrating to always have something else not working. I've been very patient with all the issues and i lost a lot of stuff I paid for with the ants. It's only been 3 weeks but I'm not impressed and hope it gets better here.

At one point, I actually had to move units due to a crazy upstairs neighbor. However, after recently assessing how overall happy I was living there, I decided it was time to leave. While many in the community look out for each other, and several amenities were nice (garages, very inexpensive storage units, heated pool, movie nights, food truck events, maintenance took care of requests quickly), I couldn't qualify the economic and mental costs to stay there any longer. Constant noise from crappy cars racing up Greenfield to get on the 60, non-community members parking in the front driveway to argue or party or sell their cars, a string of rude immediate neighbors (barking dogs, yelling, and letting the weighted front doors slam closed - those 3-4am slamming doors were a real bummer), the community gates often not working, additional community fees (easily add another hundred to the rent for required services), parking spaces being stolen, and a mail person who apparently can't read (you will see many, many missing parcel postings), was all wearing me down. Management did what they could, and I appreciate the connections made while at Piedra. But I moved to another area, have already met several very nice people in my new community and am happier, as well as a little better off financially, away from there.

This is the BEST apartment complex in Mesa/Gilbert you could possibly find. The apartment itself is gorgeous! Everyone who comes to visit us compliments the beautiful large kitchen and abundant storage space. It definitely is a LUXURY apartment! The complex is beautifully maintained, the amenities are incredible and the staff is extremely responsive and helpful 100% of the time. I love that everything is accessible via the Henri app which makes paying rent, maintenance requests and updates to the community easy to access at all hours of the day. The maintenance team is tremendously helpful as well and fixes any issues the same day or early the next day after submitting via the app. I also feel very safe here as it is gated and there is security at night that patrols . You are able to message them directly via the app as well. There are resident appreciation parties put together by the staff, amazing food trucks scheduled weekly, fun contests and an overall wonderful community dynamic! If you have the opportunity to live here you won't regret it!

Extremely Disappointed with My Move-In Experience…read more I was excited to move into Stone Oaks Apartments, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. From day one, the management team has demonstrated a serious lack of organization, communication, and accountability. On move-in day, I was told my keys would be in the unit at 7:30 AM. I arrived early in 113°F heat, only to find no keys and no one available to help. After waiting outside for over an hour and a half, someone finally showed up around 8:45 AM. By that point, it was far too hot to continue moving in. The problems didn't stop there. I was asked to come in on a Friday afternoon on short notice to sign documents, only to be told that the printer was out of paper and to return on Monday. My assigned parking spot was taken the next day, and I couldn't get the car towed because I never received a tow card. It took all day and multiple phone calls to finally get it resolved. When I tried to clean and settle in, the apartment smelled like smoke and was 90°F inside. The A/C had not been switched to occupied. On top of that, despite confirming in advance that the previous tenant's Cox account would be deactivated, it wasn't, so I couldn't set up internet and had to miss work. To top it all off, after all these issues were supposedly acknowledged by staff, I was still charged a carpet repair fee for damage caused by a previous tenant and their pet. Management confirmed this verbally, but still withheld the cost from my deposit. I've since involved legal counsel to recover this unfair charge. While one staff member (Drew) was apologetic and tried to help, the overall lack of preparedness and follow-through has caused significant financial loss and stress. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Stone Oaks Apartments to anyone. New residents deserve better.

So I wouldn't be surprised if there is mold in that bathroom. The parking here is horrific and the employees use guest parking spots near the front so you either have to pay for parking with the Zark app, or park a mile away in other guest parking. Then they sent out a notice for people not to park in the front of the office because all the guest parking was full for future residents, but would not have employees park elsewhere to accommodate the people living there (weird concept, I know). The gate was broken so many times and took weeks to fix there would be random people parking there, and staying for days. Anytime you send any feedback it's basically a thanks and go fuck yourself. All in all, we kept our space maintained, and received a whopping $19 back from our deposit. I barely leave reviews because personal experience does not always reflect everyone's experience. But, after everything, a $19 deposit was a big fuck you.
