    My wife and I moved into Liv Avenida many moons ago, back in October of 2014, before I called her my wife and I her husband. I remember driving past Liv when we were looking at apartments and thinking they looked too expensive for us. After stopping in, getting a tour and pricing, we knew it was the apartment complex for us. We stayed at Liv for 2.5 years, almost to the day. We (just today) moved out and into a home we've been building for the past 7 months. When we left Liv today, I did feel a slight sadness as I was going to miss it (for the most part). We love the location, and spent most weekends at the pool which is incredible. Even at night, with the torches on, you feel like you're at a resort. The pricing for our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was about 1300.00 a month, before utilities etc. We thought this was fair. (When we did get ready to move, we went month to month for about one month, and our rent shot up to 1700.00). We enjoyed our time at Liv. Great amenities, clean complex, maintenance was kept up, etc. I would say that some of the amenities were never used by us though....the lounge, the citrus grove, etc. They started having food truck Thursday's and have a full calendar of events. They really do try to create a wonderful community and succeed. My only cons are that if you are not on a top level unit (we were not) you can hear your neighbors above you quite easily, but I guess that's the case for all apartments. I developed a habit of wearing earplugs to bed because of this. Maybe I'm just a light sleeper. It seemed our neighbors never really went to sleep. We had two different neighbors; the first which were there when we moved in were pretty much a nightmare. Up at all hours, and we couldn't ever figure out who lived there. At one point, I went up to ask if they had a small animal running around, but was told by them that it was a 4 year old. To this day, I've never seen a child leave or enter that unit. Weird. The second neighbor we had after the first moved was much better. Quiet, normal. Towards the end of our stay we did feel a bit cramped due to living in a smaller space. Again, that's with any apartment. I would recommend Liv to anyone in the Chandler Area looking for a nice apartment. You get what you pay for, and we were happy and felt that we were paying for a lifestyle, not just an apartment.

    I have lived here over a month before waiting to write a review in case things came up that I didn't like. I am thankful every day I live here. I LOVE the complex. It caters to a a type of person- friendly, considerate, and social people of all ages. I have never lived in a place with a better sense of community. I love the on site yoga, the community events, BBQ by the pool, and I hate to sound cliche- the staff. In addition, when I moved in, the apartment was in pristine condition. It looked like it had never been lived in- with the exception of a small spot of rust on the stainless steel sink. A spot. That is all the negative I have. Nice appliances, super quiet washer. I have put in one work order to get copies of my key. Next morning I had them. I live on the third floor, so I hear my neighbors never. If this sounds like you, come on over.

    I have lived at LIV Avenida for close to two years and have been very impressed. The property gives you a feeling of being on vacation at a nice resort, the apartment units feel more like a home and less like an apartment and the office/maintenance staff is very friendly and attentive. I can honestly feel I feel spoiled living here. I could not imagine feeling more 'at home' in a different appointment community.

    BUYER BEWARE. Our experience at Liv Avenida was quite disappointing and unfortunate, given the circumstances of how excited we were to move here. The grounds and apartments are spectacular and the pools are always refreshing... But that is the only reason this review received AT LEAST one star. Let's start with the front office. We felt like no more than a number to them. Our neighbor played loud levels of music throughout the late night and early mornings, and management played an extremely lackluster role in trying to regulate that action. Our adjoining neighbors also complained just as frequently as we did regarding the noise... On-site security even told us that our loud neighbor had a huge file of complaints from other neighbors around us as well! Yet, nothing was done immediately to take care of the issue. It's as though Liv Avenida thinks they run such a perfect community that they don't have to worry about these issues. After disappointment time and time again with how security handled these issues, we decided to send e-mails on FOUR different occasions to the property manager on site. We never received a single response back from her during our entire year-long stay. At the end of our lease, we were charged with a $250 carpet replacement fee. Our apartment had never been lived in before our move-in date, and we only stayed at Liv Avenida for one year. However, they deemed that our ONE year old carpet had depreciated four years and needed to be replaced. We were not pet owners. There were no stains beyond "normal wear and tear", and there were absolutely no holes or rips on our carpet. Bottom line, if you want REAL LUXURY and desire a community that actually has concern and appreciation for you, then move right across the street from Liv Avenida to Camden Chandler.

    please reword your pet policy.... as per your policy on your website states upto 3 pets does not specify how many dogs and cats within your policy. I drove over 45 mins ready to look at the place come to find out you only allow 2 dogs and 1 cat .... thank you for wasting my time

They focus on the petty things, instead of things that matter to the residents. The apts are nice. But the property isn't well maintained. Dog poop everywhere! Dog pee all over the stairs and landings of stairwells. Newer tenants loud during quiet hours, dogs constantly barking. They'll tell you the train isn't that bad. lol ya ok. ITS A TRAIN!! Not only can you hear it, YOU CAN FEEL IT! Shakes the entire apt. It's bad. Quiet time til 8 am but they have landscapers mowing every Friday at 630am, sometimes earlier sometimes later. If you face the courtyard, every conversation echos, along with kids screaming and dogs barking but it's amplified. Happens at all hours, so you better be a deep sleeper. Parking is an absolute joke. They send Richard the special maint guy to ask for good reviews after he does his job fixing something. That shows you how desperate they are to fix their google rating. Pawning your helper to solicit good reviews? After doing his job, and poorly at that. Pathetic. You will have your package stolen at some point. Probably other tenants. Way overpriced for the crap you have to deal with. It was tolerable before Kyndell, but now it's time to move on. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. I promise you that. We had our apt tested for mold and it came back positive. They send Richard in with a moisture monitor he doesn't know how to use. Guy says he's never seen mold either! What is he don't making these decisions for such a large company. Everything about this place is now a joke.

Specifically, Chanda went above and beyond for me helping me even bring packages into my apartment because they showed up a little early. The amenity spaces have been nice and the neighbors have been pleasant. No noise issues at night even on weekends which is nice. Would certainly recommend!

Exploitative, Dishonest, and Unethical Business Practices…read moreI lived in this apartment complex and experienced firsthand how predatory and dishonest their business practices are, especially when it comes to the return of security deposits. Upon move-out, I was initially charged my entire $900 deposit plus an additional $466 for a full carpet replacement. These charges were completely baseless and seemed to be part of an intentional effort to push renovation costs onto tenants. It wasn't until I began recording calls, compiling video and photo evidence, and asserting my legal rights that they conveniently "reconsidered" and removed the carpet charge, which should never have been there in the first place. Even then, they still kept half my deposit, allegedly for "paint," which I strongly suspect was just another way to squeeze money out of tenants. The apartment was given to me in a disgusting and unacceptable condition at move-in: * Hair in the freezer * Rusted dishwasher * Molded washing machine * Urine stains on the toilet * Bugs in the light fixtures and sink I have video documentation of all of this. There were ongoing maintenance issues throughout my lease. My A/C leaked for a full week before being fixed. The security gate was broken for over 75 percent of my stay with no compensation offered. The leasing office also underwent loud renovations despite being told there were "no plans for renovation" at lease signing, which I also have on video. When I attempted to dispute the false charges, the leasing office gave me the runaround. They referred me to property management numbers that went straight to voicemail, refused to provide anything in writing, and ignored every voicemail I left with no follow-up. Even their so-called "evidence" of the damage, which I requested, was low-quality, blurry, and clearly unreliable. This was a textbook case of malicious compliance. Once I made it clear that I had audio and video recordings of every interaction, including the condition of the unit before and after move-in and move-out, only then did they begin to backpedal. They did not do this out of fairness. They did it because they knew I had the evidence to win in court. They'll likely respond to this review with a PR-friendly line like, "We tried to resolve the issue and reached out to the tenant." This is a lie. I reached out multiple times, left voicemails, and was completely ignored. Now that I've received the partial deposit in the mail, I'm free to share my experience publicly without fear of retaliation. I strongly urge anyone considering moving in here to document everything and prepare to fight for your rights. Or better yet, don't sign here at all. This company preys on people who don't know tenant law and makes the deposit return process a nightmare. Tenants deserve better. *** now that they have responded you can see that they used a PR response.

What could've been a simple discussion quickly escalated because of Eric's antagonistic attitude. We calmly asked to speak with whom we thought was the supervisor (Kelly), but Eric refused to accommodate that request. Shockingly, after repeated polite attempts to resolve the matter, he ended the conversation by threatening to call the police--something that felt completely over the top and inappropriate for the situation. This experience left us feeling unheard and disrespected. I expected better professionalism and communication from Camden's leasing office.

I politely asked to speak with another agent since the conversation wasn't going anywhere, but instead of helping, he asked me to leave and accused me of being "aggressive." When I calmly repeated my request, he escalated the situation and threatened to call the police. As a person of color, being labeled "aggressive" for respectfully voicing a concern was not only offensive--it was unacceptable. I left feeling completely dismissed and disrespected. I'm sharing this experience in hopes of encouraging more respectful and professional treatment of all residents.
