Came in to float to relieve some stress. Casey(I hope I'm spelling her name right) was absolutely amazing. She made sure to explain the offers before I left and made me some hot stress relief tea. She also helped with questions regarding some cbd drinks that were sold there. From the moment stepping into the location, they have you remove your shoes and wear a pair of their clean sandals. Then you go to your float room and rinse off under the shower. Then you go into the float tank and relax. You can choose to float in the dark or light as well as choose to hear meditation music or silence. There is also flotation devices to help assist a comfortable float. After, you shower (I had a waterfall shower head ) and they provide body wash, shampoo , and conditioner. Make sure you haven't dyed your hair before you float. I have been going to IMR Massage for years now and always wanted to try IMR Float but never did. Well, I finally tried IMR Float recently and have already been back a few times since! This place Is amazing. 1st of all I enjoy floating in salt water that has no Cloreen/chemicals whatsoever. Having tried a few salt float places around the nation this place seems to be the cleanest, well kept facility I have been in. Before going I have been feeling all fatigued and have been having really bad allergies and my skin started to break out on parts of my body I have never had break outs. Today's experience was AMAZING!!! Fantastic experience! We did the couples float for my husbands birthday because he requested it. For some reason he says he wants to float solo next time () but we both really enjoyed it. Edit: the owner Elliott reached out to me and refunded my extra month of membership. That was greatly appreciated, and my rating has been updated to reflect this. The experience and the actual products (sauna and floats) are wonderful, and the only reason this isn't 5-stars is because the required 30-day notice for cancelling a membership leaves a very poor taste in my mouth. Technically, I now realize this policy is indeed specified on their website, and I'd guess they'd probably mentioned this when I signed up a year ago, but this is just an extra warning to future customers to be wary of my example. Don't forget to cancel an extra billing cycle early. You don't want to have to either waste the credit or try to squeeze it in right as you're scrambling to move. read more

My boyfriend recently got me into Float Therapy here at IMR. He's been doing it several months and I started in December. I've always been intrigued by it and had read about its many benefits. For me, I've yearned for more knowledge of help with relief from stress, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue and pain. Float therapy helps with all this and more. Upon further learning, we found it aids in mental clarity, learning, stimulates creativity, and of course deepens your meditation practices. It's a type of sensory deprivation that I find extremely therapeutic and allows me to heal my body and mind while finding new perspectives within myself. Tonight was my third float, and as part of my birthday treat, Warren added us a couples Infrared Sauna! The Manager and Co-Owner Elliot told us that this specific combination of sauna + float was an amazing way to decompress and meditate. He was not wrong. This sauna was amazing. It's private, and he had ice, water, and clean robes and towels waiting for us. It's also a color therapy room, and you can adjust the lights to your preference. Whether you're alone or with someone, this was a unique and intimate way to let the body detox and breathe. After about 40 minutes, our heart rates were way up, and we relaxed a bit before a cool rainfall shower and we were ready to go into our respective float tanks. A float usually lasts an hour...but I'm telling you, I went into some transcendental place and forgot where the hell I was for a while. You have the option to float in complete darkness with meditation music in the underwater speakers. It's about 11 inches of water with 1000 pounds of epsom salts. The water is so dense, it enables the body to float effortlessly allowing every muscle to fully relax. The weightlessness is my favorite feeling. When you're done with your selected services, you get to go to the "Zen Room" where there's essential oils being diffused, light music, and they offer you hot tea and journals to share your experience. As a SAHM, I am often overstimulated and overwhelmed. Ok, I've never been in a float tank, but I've wanted to for a while now. IMR just opened up and they had some great offers that I couldn't pass up. Today was my first visit and WOW! there is no words to describe the feeling for being weightless and deprived of sound, light and all other sensations. It was clean and decorated well, they have a sweet lounge in the back with amazing art where you chill after your session and decompress what you just experienced. I will be back to IMR Very soon! Floating is somewhat new to me so when I heard IMR Massage was opening a Float Center I was really excited. They have two wave rooms that are spacious and the remodeled rooms have a cool aquatic feel to them. Soon the open tank will be available- can't wait to try all three rooms. You know when you know an experience won't be good? When they get your appointment time and day wrong. A week before my appointment they called and were reminding me of my appointment which they had me schedule for the wrong date. Once that was resolved I showed up to my appointment and was asked for a payment card, which I thought was strange seeing how the whole experience was a gift from my husband, but I thought maybe he made a mistake, so I paid. They took me back to my room, and I put my ear plugs in and took my luke-warm shower just as they instructed. I got into the tank, turned off the lights and waited for the complete silence. Lights turned off, and then the noise from the next door martial arts studio began to filter. I expected quiet, restful, floating, and what I got was a very uncomfortable 45 minutes of chatter, vibrations of movement, cold from the lack of warmth in the tank, and irritation. I had been wanting to try this forever and finally got the chance . Place is very clean and staff are friendly & welcoming . That being said here's my first time experience I feel like it was pretty overpriced but was really excited to try so spent the money . First off It's pretty hot and humid in the tank Lights are dim and you are in an enclosed space so if your at all claustrophobic this could be an issue also if you are prone to motion sickness this may not be for you (nobody warned me about that ) purchased an hour and could only stay about 20 min due to feeling overheated and nauseated. The tanks are very slippery so if you have any balance issues or bad knees be extremely cautious . I could see how some people find this relaxing and I was so disappointed it wasn't a good experience . It just wasn't for me . read more

I go for the single float session (they also offer couples float), I get a private room with a shower and float tank with music and lighting choices. My husband and I had been wanting to try a float tank for a while so I decided to get us a pass! The waiting room smells so amazing and the person helping us upfront was kind, relaxing and informative. The room itself was so nice with the showers right across from the actual tank. It's not a closed tank, but more like a shower/tub in a room. So you're not enclosed in a super tiny space. I have to give this business 5 stars for how clean and nice everything was but truth be told, I only lasted about 7 mins! My husband went the full 60 mins. I apparently had a lot of cuts because my whole body was very uncomfortable from the burning sensation of the salt and I had a lot of tension in my neck even with the neck pad they offer. It is tricky if you get the water in your eyes too. I got out and enjoyed a shower while my husband kept floating and even the shampoo they offer is great quality! My hair was so soft the next day. Anyway, all In all, while the floating tank wasn't right for me, I recommend it because I can see it's benefits and the place itself is 5 stars worthy. read more
