This was a nice experience! First time doing float therapy and red light and water massage. My husband got me a Groupon to try it out which was very sweet. The water massage and red light therapy was very relaxing! newbie tip - bring earbuds so you can listen to your own music bc there is none playing during this and the red light therapy so the time goes by slow without a mental distraction. The float therapy was nice too! I have hair extensions though so I was in constant anxiety from getting my hair wet with the salt water. I brought a hair cap (they do not supply one) but I was just paranoid that it wouldn't work fully so I ended my session early. But it was relaxing otherwise. Nice atmosphere and they do have lights and music playing in there. You do have your own shower. They want you to rinse before and you definitely want to rinse after from all the salt. They also provide a mirror and hair dryer and comb if needed after do you can freshen up. Overall great experience, I wouldn't mind trying the actual massage next time read more

There's dirt on the floor, and there's dust where the water cups are placed for the water dispenser. Lauren was a very helpful host. I came solo to celebrate my birthday, decompress from the holidays and set some intentions for my life and the new year. I treated myself to a spa day here and while it wasn't a luxury spa you'd find on the strip, it was simple, clean and comfortable. I started with a cold plunge for 4 minutes, BRRR and the sauna for 20 minutes. After that I went directly into the salt water float for an hour where I focused on nothing but relaxing and letting go. When finished, I was ably to use the hair dryer they provide and continue my day of pampering. It was a wonderful experience that I will definitely repeat and recommend in the future. read more

I wasn't instructed on how to get out of the aqua massage. Was waiting for the pod to open and eventually found the release button. The imbalance of the red light caused my upper back to get burned. When I asked about it I was told there was supposed to be a counter weight but he couldn't find it. There was construction going on while we had our appointments. My girlfriend was using the float tank and kept thinking someone was knocking on the door. For the price we paid that was a very disappointing experience. read more

SO RELAXING! This the first thought that comes to mind after this experience. I was lucky enough to be gifted with a float therapy session from my friend Loren K. for my birthday this year. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the helpful and friendly Amaya. She took me back to my room and explained the process. They ask you to shower before entering the float tank. Liquid soap and shampoo are provided. They also give you ear plugs to help prevent water getting in your ears. A towel is provided along with flip flops too. My gift was for an hour float, but you can go for as many hours as you want but it does cost. Each tank is very clean and the water you float in is salty. Be careful touching your face or getting near your eyes as it will sting if any of the water gets in your eyes. The tank is warm inside and the water was around 80 degrees. Pretty perfect for me. I decided to float in my birthday suit but you can wear a bathing suit if you feel more comfortable. You have an entire room to yourself and the door locks so you can really relax and float away all your stress. A floating neck pillow is also provided although I struggled getting a comfortable fit. Next time, I will bring my own. My float was very calm and chill. I asked for the starry lights above and meditation music and this created the perfect atmosphere. At one point, I felt like I was in space floating through the Universe (Lol!) You may also make the tank totally dark for a deep deprivation feeling. I wasn't ready for this but next time I might try it. Once my session ended, I showered again to get all the saltwater off. They have a small grooming station near the restroom. There are Q-Tips, throwaway combs and a blow dryer for use. My only suggestion would be to add some lotion since the saltwater dries your skin out so much. I really enjoyed my time here and look forward to coming back again. They charge $65 for your first float and then $85 after. They have memberships ranging from $69 for a monthly Salt and Float to an unlimited Salt and Float for $199 per month. They also offer sessions in their salt room and massages. NV Float Therapy is exactly what I needed in my life right now. While in Vegas, I decided to spurge on a self-care day and ended here. I started with a hot stone massage that catapulted me onto cloud 9. Next was the halo therapy room (salt therapy), where atomized salts fill the air. After an hour of that, I felt like I could breathe more clearly than when I came in. There was also a sense calm after this session. Finally, I had an hour to float in the sensory deprivation tank. Since I was so relaxed and calm from the first 2 sessions, I fell asleep within 10 minutes. The most refreshing sleep I've had in a long while! I really wanted to love this place! If you're used to a float pod this is a different experience, more like you're in a large bathtub. Doesn't give as much of a sensory deprivation feeling that I've loved and experienced in a float pod. Pros: The $199 special - massage, float, salt room. Great deal! The salt room is really nice. The staff is very kind. Cons: Everyone wear outside shoes, which automatically makes it not as hygienic as the similar places I go to for these types of therapies. Although the guy was nice, he was in his outside shoes in my shower when he was showing me the shower and float tub. The tub itself wasn't not that clean around the door area. The set up of the tub and shower is awkward. The slippers they give you are super cheap and so is the pillow in the tub. It's super scratchy. I will not return, but there's a lot of potential here for this place to be a lot better. read more

Purchased 60 min sauna and cold plunge for two (Groupon discount for $45). Contacted them via email to book an appointment; received an email back to call for an appointment. Tried calling multiple times; no answer; not sure how their system is set up but I ended up getting a text message to book an appointment. Which was nice; since I wasn't able to get anyone on the phone. I still needed some additional information; if towels etc. are included. Unfortunately after calling 7 times throughout the day I gave up and just booked without any additional information. Sauna // * it fits two people but it's a bit tight * temperature is about 150 Fahrenheit * it took my husband and I about 25-30 minutes to sweat but we are used to saunas and steam rooms from Germany Cold plunge // * decent size; temperature about 50 Fahrenheit Shower // * low shower pressure * water doesn't get really warm * they do offer shampoo; conditioner and body wash; nothing special; would recommend brining your own Overall it's clean; it could use some more attention to detail and better customer service. I noticed a tea/coffee station after leaving but the machine wasn't on and there was no coffee etc.; make sure to bring your own water etc. If you are looking to do something good and healthy for your body and don't have the time to go to a day spa; you are at the right place. I'm giving 4 stars due to lack of customer service. read more

Tldr: longtime customer not happy with hair in my float *twice* recently! So I went here for months during my pregnancy, and it was great! It really helped the pregnancy swelling. I recommended it to lots of people. I also went back as my baby got older and I had time to focus on my health again. Everything was good until recently. I went to a float and found hunks--a LOT--of long hair in the tub. (Not mine!) I got out pretty much right away without even lying down, because I couldn't get past the yuck. The front desk guy apologized, so I figured I would still come back. I went back probably a few weeks later. Guess what--hair again! Quite a bit! I headed out and told the front desk guy--a new one this time. He tried to excuse it by saying they had been busy/booked all day and didn't apologize. I didn't go for a month or so, and no one followed up. I decided I can't face the hair issue and cancelled my membership. I will be going to another float place. Two episodes of finding hair is too much for me! read more

This year for my birthday I wanted to try something new & that came in the form of my first float. It was the perfect self care day of a 60 min massage followed by a 60 min float. I'll start with my massage. It was absolute perfection! The room was dimly lit with two salt lamps and ocean sounds playing in the background to enhance the calming mood. My masseuse was amazing as well. She used just the right amount of pressure and I felt amazing afterwards. Now to the float. I was a bit nervous, but the staff did a great job with explaining everything to me. The room has a private shower to use before and after and the tank itself gives you the options to have starlights on or no light at all. You also have the choice to have music on or not. I went with music on and lights out. It was a bit hard to shut my mind off at first and just let go, but eventually I got there. It was relaxing and like nothing I've done before. I definitely want to come back again for another float without music this time and to check out the salt room. read more

I have tried every form of therapy, and FINALLY, I found something that works. NV Float Therapy has helped me so much since my episode. My father never talked to me much; he had some job in New York that he kept secret. In a random occurrance, my mother Helen died. I didnt know much about her. She did buy my dad a dog, and someone killed it, which sent him overboard and he abandoned me. The emotional stress was building up. My father, sad to say, went on a spree which he ended several lives of other people. He wanted revenge for the dog, but I wish he would have channeled that aggression into being a dad for his son. I never spoke to him after that, as there was an apparent bounty placed on his head and he went into hiding. I knew I had to find some kind of help, but nothing worked. This is where NV Float Therapy saved the day. As you walk in, the colors of cool blue and white immediately put you at ease. You can go into the next room which has an orange tint and soft lighting. I got a massage which was a little awkward to me. The masseuse had a Russian accent, the same type which were always after my father Jon. I got over it, and the sounds of the ocean and the deep tissue work relaxed me more than I have been in years. Next was the float. Although the float isnt like the ones described in the JRE, it was a tub, and it worked pretty well. I was able to close my eyes and let go of reality, the reality that was so painful from my mothers death and my father's abandonment for his job doing "contract" work, although I dont know what firm he worked for or what the bids were about. The lighting and ambient sounds in the tub relaxed me to a point where my body and mind just kind of melded together. It was well worth the money. Although I didnt sign up for the membership, I will say Louisa has hands of gold! Dad always said his hands were lethal weapons, but Louisa had hands of lethal relaxation! The whole staff was attentive to helping me be comfortable, and I was so comfortable I was able to forget about dad leaving me to go to the Continental, our dog Daisy, or the other BS I have had to deal with since 2014. Mood- Something needed Upon entering I was quickly greeted with great customer service. I was given a form to fill out re: the process I was looking to entertain and the particulars. I started with Halo- therapy room first. Everything was very Covid evident. I removed my shoes and was instructed to put on hospital type booties over my socks. I walked into the 3 chair room, picked a seat and sat back to inhale the treatment. It was not overwhelming at all. It is very serene. Low lights, floor covered in salt, as the air re-circulated with the therapy. After I finished I went into the float room. I was given complimentary shampoo and body wash to use before entering the float tank. There are several ways to fully enjoy this experience. You can have the lights completely off in both areas to indulge in a complete deprivation type experience, you can have low lights on in the tank, and you can choose to have just the starry headliner on. I like the deprivation so I chose all lights off. The tank itself is good size to float around in. It has over 2k lbs worth of salt to ensure anyone who would not normally float does. The experience is for 1 hour. You can meditate, sleep, or just lose yourself in the moment, all the while your floating with no effort. The idea I have researched re: this, is for people that want to reduce anxiety, have sleep issues, and just relax. I honestly slept like I haven't in a long time. Some people have even described this experience as euphoric because while in the dark but floating the mind decides what it wants to make of the situation. It was a bit awkward in the beginning for me, but once I got into the zone, I felt like I was coming out of my body. I could hear my breath and heart beat in sync with each other, which sounded like a drum beat. I have meditated in the past and this was like an amplified meditation. I felt so relaxed after and even fell asleep towards the last 20-minutes of the session. Did my first salt float yesterday and had a great experience! Very friendly staff who educated me on what to do. The place was clean and made me feel at ease and the experience itself was AMAZING! Feeling weightless and with no sensory was exactly what I needed to clear my mind of some recent stress. The only con were the slippery tile floors right out of the shower area when I went to get dressed. A rug or a non-slip liner would be in their best interest so no one slips! I had an amazing experience! I wasn't sure what to expect, but the front desk staff was so kind and friendly. My boyfriend and I did this together as a couple's treat. When we first arrived for the appointment we filled out some quick and easy paperwork. They had 2 rooms set up for us. The floating is individual so we each had our own room. Staff explained everything in detail. Your private room has a shower and the float tank inside. You shower first, before getting into the tank. I wore a swimsuit to the appointment but realized that it's totally not necessary for inside the tank. It's such an incredible experience. It was so relaxing and the one hour in the tank just flew by! After exiting the tank and taking a quick rinse/shower, my boyfriend and I had a one hour session together in the Salt Room. It was awesome. I highly recommend this as a great way to relax and decompress! read more

I hadn't ever done a float before yesterday, and now I've been to this place twice in 24 hours! Think I like it much? I did a one hour float yesterday, and wanted to try upping it a bit to an hour and a half tonight. Yaaaaaas. You don't realize how much you don't allow yourself to do nothing except relax and be alone with your thoughts until you're in one of these bad boys. At first it might seem difficult to just lay there silently floating, but if you allow yourself to simply BE, it is an incredible experience: no emails to write, no kids to pick up from practice, no dogs to walk or feed, no organizing husbands/children's activities, lunches to make...just time for you to take on much needed self love. Give yourself this time to ALLOW yourself some alone time. You wont regret it. Truly peaceful, excellent amenities, and for me it was a meditative spiritual experience. This was a unique experience! Booked this after hearing a lot of hype about sensory deprivation therapy, and chose this location because their tanks are large rooms rather than claustrophobic pods, making it much more preferable. The individual at the front desk welcomed us and showed us around, told us about the procedures, etc. The facility was perfectly clean and well kept, temperature was comfortable. You have the option to control the level of lights once you're actually in the tank, from "starry night" to full blackout. Everyone has their own experience, but I did find it very relaxing and almost disorienting, like I felt like I was shifting and floating/spinning slowly around but I wasn't actually moving. Additionally, don't worry about drowning; the water is so shallow and the water is so salinated, you easily float. Great first time experience, but personally wasn't Life-changing. Wow! What an unexpected treat to experience the FloatRoom! I did not know what to expect and was a little apprehensive but it was SO amazing! I enjoyed an hour in a private float room, the music was perfect, the lighting was dim, the salt in the water made it so easy to float and the rest was pure relaxation and bliss! Then.... Horrendous experience from start to finish... Extremely let down. Took my GF here for her first float experience and it was an absolute joke. Regret not asking for my money back. First I was greeted by a stressed out, brand new employee that was being shadowed by someone who clearly gave zero fucks. Got a very rushed run down of the place before my float which didn't really help but whatever, not a big deal. The first real issue was the float itself. Tank was definitely too small, as I was constantly touching the sides with my toes and fingers, bringing me out of my meditation. Incredibly obnoxious. It was very noisy in the tank as well, the thermometer kept clanking against the side making it impossible to relax and even with ear plugs in I could hear doors slamming in other rooms and cars outside. Not to mention the incredibly uncomfortable plastic pillow that is provided which shouldn't even be an option in a float tank. The entire point is to float naturally with no outside sources bothering you, touching absolutely nothing except the water, depriving your senses, not keeping them active and bothered. After a very mediocre float AT BEST I noticed my tank was clean, however my girlfriends was not. I should have taken a pic but was just so ready to leave. The tank had black residue at the bottom and green gunk all around the door inside the tub and was pretty gross. This is supposed to be a unique and special experience for a first timer and that was stolen away. Not to mention it's not cheap.. The place I went to in Chicago years ago was absolutely serene, therapeutic, and entirely relaxing from start to finish. They even had you write down what your experience was like afterwards and you can read other people's as well. Take notes please and improve your entire experience for your customers. This is completely unacceptable and I will not ever recommend this place to anyone. What a waste and let down Update: Little bit of redemption...
