Horrendous experience from start to finish... Extremely let down. Took my GF here for her first float experience and it was an absolute joke. Regret not asking for my money back. First I was greeted by a stressed out, brand new employee that was being shadowed by someone who clearly gave zero fucks. Got a very rushed run down of the place before my float which didn't really help but whatever, not a big deal. The first real issue was the float itself. Tank was definitely too small, as I was constantly touching the sides with my toes and fingers, bringing me out of my meditation. Incredibly obnoxious. It was very noisy in the tank as well, the thermometer kept clanking against the side making it impossible to relax and even with ear plugs in I could hear doors slamming in other rooms and cars outside. Not to mention the incredibly uncomfortable plastic pillow that is provided which shouldn't even be an option in a float tank. The entire point is to float naturally with no outside sources bothering you, touching absolutely nothing except the water, depriving your senses, not keeping them active and bothered. After a very mediocre float AT BEST I noticed my tank was clean, however my girlfriends was not. I should have taken a pic but was just so ready to leave. The tank had black residue at the bottom and green gunk all around the door inside the tub and was pretty gross. This is supposed to be a unique and special experience for a first timer and that was stolen away. Not to mention it's not cheap.. The place I went to in Chicago years ago was absolutely serene, therapeutic, and entirely relaxing from start to finish. They even had you write down what your experience was like afterwards and you can read other people's as well. Take notes please and improve your entire experience for your customers. This is completely unacceptable and I will not ever recommend this place to anyone. What a waste and let down Update: Little bit of redemption... This may be an unfair review as I have never done float therapy before and therefore have nothing else to compare it to. Overall, the experience was not great for three reasons: 1. Noise from outside, which could be heard inside of the tank. It's hard to get into a zone / relaxed headspace, when you're naked inside of a container at an unfamiliar space and there are random noises happening just outside. 2. At the 40 minute mark, I could feel my heart beginning to race and I couldn't breath as well. Well, duh, how much oxygen is flowing in???? You're inside of a tightly sealed container with no new air flow, it's noticeable by the 40 minute mark. 3. Dirty? Not entirely sure if the tank was dirty or not. But my skin was itching for the next few hours. Maybe it was just the mineral oil, I'm not entirely sure. The overall experience was unpleasant, and my husband's was the same. We had both been meaning to try this for a few years and it was a major disappointment. read more

I have been going here for years, since Covid. When I go monthly, to Float and Salt therapy, I'm healthier and happier. The monthly membership is a great deal, and ensures I take time for my Self-Care. The float is super relaxing and gets rid of aches/pain. The Halotherapy/Salt therapy helps me so much. I have allergies that would turn into sinus infections or asthmatic bronchitis, which caused me to miss work, take medications and use nebulizer. Not since going here routinely, I'm so thankful for this spa's natural treatment! And, the staff are so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend Float NV! read more

I did a 60 min float here. The place doesn't seem all that clean. Stuff floating in my tub when I went to get in. Also water dripping from the top of the tub onto me while I'm floating. Also could hear things going on outside the room which shouldn't happen IMO. Won't be returning. Maybe my first float experience was just very good so I'm a harsh critique but I was not satisfied. read more

I had no clue what I was getting into... Floating? Relaxing? Quiet time? Solitude? Why not give this kind of thing a try? So I built up the courage to finally go and I have to say that I really enjoyed the entire experience. They say it takes a few times to really get into and be able to relax and I can understand because that's how the salt caves have been for me. It took me three sessions to actually fall asleep! This place also has a salt room if the floating wasn't relaxing enough. Here's how it all went down ~ I was greeted by a very friendly girl who explained everything to me. Everyone gets a private room that comes with a beautiful shower, water, flip flops, earbuds, shampoo & body wash along with towels. Prepare to take a shower and get in there all nice & clean. After you get into your bath chamber the experience really begins and you control your lights. The soft music plays in the beginning to help you relax and then it gets completely quiet. Honestly, I didn't know what to do with myself and it was all a little weird. Before your session is over the music comes back on intended to wake people up. I need to go back to see if I am really able to let go of everything. Salt rooms work for me so this should as well. Wow this is a unique experience. I would highly suggest giving yourself some time to float if you have back pain, anxiety, stress, a busy mind, busy life, need creativity... it's so relaxing and allows you to escape. We had no idea what to expect as our first visit here. The employee was very kind and explained the system. You shower before and after your float session which makes me feel much more comfortable about using the facility. The float session is an hour long. They use gentle music to signal the end of the session and slowly bring you back from the little float world you've been experiencing. I'm not sure if this for me yet. I will need to try another time now that I know the routine. I did appreciate that for the hour I had no pain at all. With chronic back pain, I'm constantly seeking a way to help and this gave me a chance to not feel it. I have a somewhat busy mind and was not able to let that go during this session. I will totally be back to try it out again, I think knowing what I am entering will help me relax. read more

Today I had the opportunity to visit NV Float for the first time. I've never done float therapy before and was pleasantly surprised. The girl at the front desk was pleasant and prompt. The shower/dress area were clean and well stocked. As I said, I've never done float therapy and quite honestly did not know what to expect. After I took a shower (they do give you all you need for a shower) I went in... You can choose a completely quiet// dark float experience or one with music and dimmed light I chose the second option. After a few minutes of floating I was completely relaxed and fell asleep. It was an AMAZING experience and do HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. Happy floating! read more

A truly relaxing, different experience. Very clean space. They provided shampoo, body wash, ear plugs, and even a water bottle. I could completely control the room: lights, leaving the door to the float room open, cracked, or closed, and even adjusting the lights inside of the floating area! I was given a floatie type pillow to use during the session, which I was so grateful for, because my neck was hurting after floating without it for a few minutes (due to my own tense neck issues). I loved that the rooms are set up for your own comfort level, and that they are tailored for diverse needs of clients. The float itself was amazing. I was able to meditate, let my mind wander and my body relax fully. Felt like a different person at the end - calm, more focused, and recharged after much needed self care. The owner, Ava, truly cares for her customers satisfaction, as she asked about my experience to continue to improve to best serve the community. I was pleasantly surprised - first of all I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who explained everything to me and was pointed to a private room where I could undress before entering my private float chamber - as a shy person, I highly appreciate all of the privacy. I was provided everything I needed (towel, slippers, shower, shower gel, shampoo, etc.), so just bring yourself and nothing else - they provide the rest. There was an option to have relaxing music on which I chose - the chamber itself and the water were cozy and warm, the ceiling lined with little pretty lights looking like colorful stars in the sky (you can also choose the colors of the lights, both on the ceiling and the water, or turn them off altogether if that's not your thing). Once I laid down and let the water settle, I felt weightless - once the water settles, you can't even tell where the water ends and air begins, so the temperature must have been matched perfectly! Imagine coming home after a long day at work and finally laying down in a soft bed - this was like that except ten times better because the weight is completely off. My friend who recommended me the place says she falls asleep in there; while I didn't sleep, I was still able to rest - sort of meditate , clear my mind and forget my troubles. The visit was more of a novelty for me, but after trying it. I, thankfully, have no ailments other than occasional stress or being tired, but if this was so relaxing to ME, I can only imagine how helpful it must be to people who may have problems with muscles, back pain, neck issues, etc. In the chamber, there's a lot of salt in the water (obviously - that's what causes you to float) - I asked how much out of curiosity and was told over 1,000lbs of salt . The staff instructed me to be careful and not touch my eyes before rinsing my hands from all the salt water and told me there's a bottle of clean water inside for that purpose. When I came out, I took a shower but forgot to wash my hair - make sure you wash EVERYTHING, because once the water evaporates, the salt stays behind - LOTS of it. Not that it's a problem, since I went straight home after that and it washes out easily, but if you have somewhere else to be after floating, you will want to shower thoroughly, including your hair. Overall, I loved it - I just wanted to try it out at first, but now that I have, I want to do it all the time - it's like discovering a new way to get a relaxing massage (but without having people rub your body). read more

We went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed the experience. The guy working there was very friendly and accommodating. My favorite part beside the float was the shower afterwards. Next time however, and let this be a heads up for all the people with lots of hair... I thought I was going to be clever by bringing my own shower cap which sooo didn't work. The super concentrated salt water was so heavy it pulled the shower cap away from my head and soaked my hair! None of the offered amenities were enough for the kind of attention my poor hair needed after. Next time I'll bring an extra tight shower cap as well as a backup of my preferred shampoo and conditioner as well as leave in conditioner so that I don't have to rush home to clean up. read more

This was my first ever "float" experience so I'll do my best to describe it from a newbie point. My friends all raved about this place so I finally found time to check it out for myself and see what was so special about float therapy. First, the place is stunningly designed. It's got that modern, tranquil luxury feel. Soft blue tones and gentle, relaxing aromas set the mood immediately as you walk in. Seriously, I'd love their designer to do my house! Friendly and helpful staff explain all their services and the process. I decided to get 1h in both salt and float rooms. The salt room. Dim yellowish light fills the room, the floors are covered with coarse pink Himalayan salt. The staff provide shoe coverings before you walk in. I decided to go barefoot to feel the salt on my feet, you still have to wear the coverings though. There are lounge chairs and a lit salt brick wall. There is a gentle hum of the machine that spews medical grade Himalayan salt into the air so when you breathe you will taste salt. In fact after an hour you will be covered completely with fine, soft salt dust (another reason to wear comfortable clothes... Probably the lighter the better...). Very relaxing atmosphere, but I was too excited to try to sleep. I kept taking deep breathes and tasting the salt. This helps with allergies, asthma and many other ailments by killing bacteria in your breathing passages. Felt wonderful afterwards! The float room. The friendly staff will give you instructions on how to use the float rooms. As you walk in it's a beautiful clean shower room with a little "lobby" where you can leave your stuff. Yes, you go in naked! :) They instruct you to shower as you usually do with shampoo and body wash that they provide you with before and after the session. Just the shower itself was already fantastic, with perfect pressure and size! Finally... I get into the float room. Imagine a giant walk in tub with a little door. You have the option of "stars" lights on your ceiling or not. I chose to leave mine on. There is a soft blue light that fills the room. There is a bit more than ankle deep water, just enough for you to float comfortably. Once you lay down in the water you finally understand why it's called float. You know when you're swimming and you go on your back to relax? It's like that but without having to swim to keep yourself on top of the water. Along with the atmosphere of the room it feels like you are floating in space. This can be a profound place to meditate! And I HIGHLY recommend you to meditate! Especially if you generally have a hard time sending yourself into a meditative state, you will have no problem here. Your entire body is relaxed and your mind just follows. There's tranquil, gentle music playing that helps you take off into the abyss of zen and relaxation. About half way through I emerged from the state and decided to take the opportunity to explore the floating space by moving my body every which way I can. It felt amazing and I was able to stretch my back in a way I haven't been able to in years! This float really allows your body to be in a relaxation state otherwise impossible! Careful though the water is incredibly salty! They have a squirt bottle within arms reach for you in case you get any of salt water in your eyes. That definitely came in handy. Once you are done, you shower off and you will immediately feel how soft your skin has gotten and how thick your hair feel! Overall this is a fantastic place! If you are looking for the new thing that can give you that ultimate relaxation experience, this is the thing to try! Cannot wait to return! read more

I came here for my 2nd float after trying it out at another (and also very good) place in Vegas. The primary difference is that Float Therapy uses a float tank that is more like a small room or chamber as opposed to a pod. This turned out to make a big difference to me as I felt a little uncomfortable in a pod. Staff was super friendly and made it a very pleasant first-visit :) The float room was very nice and later out in a convent fashion. The shower almost stole show. They use the overhead rain drop showers (whatever THOSE are called) that feel AMAZING after you come out of the float chamber. One tiny complaint: I wish they had membership plans instead of gift cards :/ Really good location in Village square. The entire facility (well I didn't try the salt room) seemed very well designed and clean. Coffee, movies, ice cream, restaurants, and gym close by for after you are done. read more

I came here after hearing all of the hype... I easily made an appointment online for a spit about 45 minutes in advance. when I arrived I was greeted by the front desk, signed a waver and shown to my room. Inside the private room theres a small counter, a large shower which leads into the float room. They ask you to shower and then step into the chamber. for some reason I assumed that it was just salt added in the water to allow you to float but instead it was epsom salt. Water will eventually find its way to your mouth, it will taste horrible. Music plays for the first 15 minutes or so to help you relax... I liked that, then it goes "silent". By silent I mean that as soon as i started to get in the zone I would hear foot steps in the hall, talking or mechanical nosies. I also found water would condense on the ceiling and drops would fall onto my face occasionally. Another tip... for goodness sake use the ear plugs... water in my ears has never bothered me but afterwards I found my ears to be absolutely full of dried epsom salt. There also were promises of conditioner on the website and even in the in room instructions (talking about not using conditioner before the float, but after is fine).... There was no conditioner, and also no mirror... as a curly girl who had just soaked her hair in salt water I was in desperate need of some sort of remoisturization for my tresses. Bring your own if you're planning on trying this place out. All in all I didn't find myself to experience sensory deprivation, I had some sort of distraction every 10 minutes or so, and found that light leaked in around the door to the chamber. Most of the reviews out here have already covered it, so I feel like I am repeating myself, but the bottom line is this place is a great way to not just relax, but bring your relaxation to a new level! I won't mention "tips" because the staff there is friendly and covers everything you need to know (shower, ear plugs, etc.), so I will go straight into my experience: It took me a few minutes to get into the float room, carefully "lay down" onto the water, position myself comfortably and wait for the ripples of the water to stop before I got to that state of partial "sensory deprivation" (partial, because you can still see the pretty lights on the ceiling and hear the relaxing music, but neither are intrusive and both help me relax), but once I did, it was amazing. All the muscles in my body relaxed, places I didn't even know existed (let alone were tense) suddenly stopped bothering me and left me feeling like the only part of me that exists are my own thoughts. I'm a pensive person, so this was a pleasant state for me - I like to be left to my own thoughts, it helps me "think my way out" of any issues I may have in my life and make me feel better about them. Anyway, I digress, I can explain the feeling to you pretty well, but just like with other good things in life, you have to experience it for yourself to understand, so give this place a shot and see (or rather "feel") for yourself. read more
