I purchased a float experience from True Rest on Rainbow, and when I went to use it, I was told it had been cancelled/expired and that I should have read the "fine print" because it was cancelled for not being used within a certain time period. 90 dollars I paid. I dont remember seeing fine print, let alone reading it. I dont feel it is right that a company in Las Vegas can keep/steal money from a 69-year-old disabled veteran, I lost my leg. Now, if I had not shown up for a scheduled float, I would understand, but I did not. I tried many times to reach out through email, and I called a few minutes ago. A nice lady answered. I explained my situation without being rude or raising my voice. At the end of my conversation, I asked if she could help me, and she hung up. A few minutes later, Chuck (the owner) called, very irate and totally unprofessional, yelling that I had sweated his employee and that I was a fucking asshole! Really, very unprofessional, I texted back and told him to call back when he wanted to have an adult conversation. If he calls and apologizes and refunds my money, I will reconsider my post If this is how a local business in Las Vegas treats its Veteran customers, then I have to say, "do not patronize this business." My husband and I started our date night last at True Rest. It was my second time floating, and his first time. We both absolutely loved it and cannot wait to come back again. It was fun talking about our experiences, the similarities we experience and the differences. My husband did the oxygen bar for a little pick up of energy. Chuck, the owner is the nicest man. He's super friendly and has a way of making you feel like lifelong friends. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment and the benefits that you will receive from any of the treatments. DESERVES ZERO STARS!!!! THEY DON'T KNOW BASIC MATH HERE!!!!! This has been hands down the most frustrating and dishonest business experience I've ever had. I was excited to try floating, and on 12/31/25, I purchased their Buy 1 Get 1 Free promo for $89. I booked my first visit for 1/4/26, hoping for a relaxing new experience. Unfortunately, that's when everything started going downhill. After my first session, I spoke with Chuck, the owner. He sold me a 4-float-per-month membership for $105 and even told me that if I wanted to bring my husband, it would be 2 visits each. Sounded like a great deal. But my husband decided not to go, so I used all 4 floats myself in January. Here's where the dishonesty really kicked in: Chuck started the membership on the same day--1/4/26--the same day I had already paid for my visit! I was double-charged for that day. They literally charged me for two visits on my very first day, which is just flat-out wrong. I emailed them right away to fix THEIR mistake. And what did they do? Nothing. No response. After a week of silence, I called the store. And guess what? They acted like they never received my email. Playing dumb doesn't erase incompetence or dishonesty. I decided to cancel the membership, since it was already off to a bad start. But the nightmare wasn't over. On 2/4/26--after I had cancelled--they charged me again for another month! Seriously? This is either gross incompetence or deliberate fraud. To make the most out of it, I scheduled 4 visits for February. I completed 2 of those visits in February, and remember--I still had 1 of my Buy 1 Get 1 free floats left. Danielle helped me put that free float on the schedule for 2/22, and she even confirmed with Rene that it was all good. But then--here's the kicker--I get a call from Chuck today telling me I have to pay for that visit. Make it make sense! How is it that in February, I only get 2 floats, when I should've had 4 from the membership plus my remaining free float? Chuck, you're a liar! You specifically told me that the Buy 1 Get 1 Free floats have an expiration date and to use those first. I followed exactly what you said, and now you're backtracking. This business is not honest. They don't know how to do basic math, they ignore their own promotions, and they flat-out lie to customers. Chuck, you need to learn basic math and how to manage your business and tell the truth. This is an update to my review from 2021. As I've tried to cancel my membership, I've been told three different ways since I started going there. The owner, said there was no commitment, I can cancel at any time. I left a message an over month ago to cancel. Didn't get a return call. I left a message again today. Tim or whatever his name was, extremely rude, unprofessional, argumentative said the only way to cancel was via email, as he spoke over me. So when I told him to give me the email address, he told me "you know what, don't ever call us again." Have no fear, True REST Float Spa, I have no desire to and I definitely will not encourage anyone to try this place. Don't waste your time getting a membership. Going against what I was told when I signed up in 2021 that I could cancel at any time, they change their policy and tell you they require a 30-day notice. Then this same office manager said to contact corporate. What a scammer. You're ruining the image of this company with your aggressive and unprofessional behavior. 01/27/24 First timers for my husband and I. Got a BOGO buy 1 float for an hour and get the second free. The moment we stepped in we were greeted by a friendly staff. We watched a quick 6 minute video about the float spa pod. Got our slippers on and into the room we go. We had our very own pod. No sharing..lol. No room for 2. Either you go in naked or with a swim suit. Shower first before going in. They supply you with a bath towel, face towel, and ear plugs. Get in to the pod and close it...hope you're not claustrophobic but it's actually pretty cool. They have music playing and you can turn off the lights or leave the subtle lights on with blue or green in color. Heavy weight or not, you will definitely float. Very relaxing. I had a REALLY good review on here. I went into detail about everything in the place. The staff. My first experience. How I'm glad I joined. Well I am entirely changing that. Solely based on their business model. It's not just True Rest Vegas. It's the company as a whole. Obviously when you sign up in a membership, there are rules and stipulations. Standard. But I never assumed that if I had to move out of the state and had to cancel my membership, that those I already paid for would expire and not be reimbursed. It's absolutely despicable of a company to steal $600 from someone who can't at all use it. Proof of new residency should be enough for a refund. It's bad enough that they're so expensive. Another downfall of this company. But they won't even let me gift my floats. So. They basically steal money if you're put in a tough financial decision or something like an emergency comes up. I had my first float therapy with True REST and they did well.... The check in process was painless and the staff was very friendly. We were given a tour of the facilities before heading to the pod room itself. Each room that houses a float pod has it's own shower. You shower up and insert your earplugs before heading for the float.. The water from the shower seals the earplugs and prevents the saltwater from entering your ear. The water is filtered continuously through the water jets whenever a patron isn't laying in the pod. It shuts off when you're floating and turns on to notify your time is up. The whole room was very clean with fresh towels provided. In the pod, I chose to close the lid, kept the lights on and kept their soothing and relaxing music playing during my 1 hour session. The floating sensory depriving experience was very relaxing. Halfway through, I shut off the lights and ended up dozing off for a bit. I left the pod feeling refreshed and relaxed after I showered off the saltwater. I can see how people could really get into this float therapy. For me personally, this is something I'd love to try right after a deep massage that's borderline painful. I could see the float being even more relaxing afterwards. The floating in 1000 lbs of Epsom salt, being able to play your own music (plus change the light colors), and drift off-relaxing mode was the best part. An amazing sensory deprivation experience well worth the price! I have never experienced such emptiness and I loved it! Pros: True isolation, friendly staff, amazing deal. Cons: None Arrived for my first float having heard about these chambers and what removal of senses does to your body. The host was prompt, explained everything, conversed about what I wanted from the experience and was gem. The facility is simple, clean, and has everything you need. I began my float and within 15 minutes I felt more relaxed than ever before and more alone with my thought but in a good way. I could hear my heartbeat, daydreamed like never before and for a little while forgot I existed. For my last 20 minutes I added my music and heard it with an astonishing depth and clarity. At the end I was never rushed out, I tried the O2 bar for fun, and I failed to write down my experience in anyway that could explain its grandeur. I have been floating for over a decade, and I know that floating is a much better experience than what this location offers. So go for a float, but do not under any circumstances start a membership. The last time I visited True REST, I had just taken a break. Knowing that I would not be able to use all the floats that I had accumulated on my account, I decided to cancel my membership. I had taken two breaks before, but this time, I was explicit in my direction to cancel. I even called and left a message confirming my cancellation. However, more than six months later, I am still being charged. They claim that it's easy to cancel, but in reality, it seems to be impossible. I was hoping it was going to be better than it was. It was my first time. They asked us to come in 30 minutes early to show us an introductory video and give us a tour. Im not sure if the lady was busy or just killing time, but my boyfriend and I sat in the room for awhile just staring at each other after the video was over. Once we got into the room the cleaning filter stopped and had to jump in to the pod to not waste time taking a shower. I had taken one before coming so I was pretty fresh. I tried the light vs dark. I preferred the dark. The music was sorta loud and so I had it off half the time. I think I was distracted by the smell of chlorine (or the salt) which was more pronounced with the pod door closed. It also got a tad too warm and the air was thick. I tried to breathe through my mouth so I wouldn't smell the chemical smell. For that reason I would recommend leaving the door open. I did prefer using the neck pillow which was not recommended by the lady. I honestly really wanted a pool noodle for some reason. And, I kind wish I had a snorkel because I would have preferred facing down. I know these ideas are unorthodox for how the float is supposed to be done. Overall. Im glad I finally tried it but I think I enjoy a good steam room better. Even swimming in a pool on a float is more relaxing for me. read more

Makes you unwilling to recommend them bc of the hassle. I moved to Las Vegas from CA recently and have not been able to float for a while. I was looking for a comparable float place like my previous one and decided to try True Rest because they had a Groupon. You always want to try a place out before committing to a membership. I had to make the reservation on the phone and give them my credit card due to it being a Groupon. I understand that people cancel a lot so this made sense to me. Nothing was charged or held on my card. On the day of my reservation, I walked in and signed in on the tablet at the desk. The person working was cleaning the rooms from the previous clients so I waited patiently in the lobby. Once the rooms were cleaned, the nice lady put me and the 2 other clients in our rooms. She showed me how to use the facility, but I already pretty much knew as they are all almost the same in the pods. There are 4 pods ( I believe ), 2 public bathrooms, a 'get ready' area with products for hair, face, body and a hair dryer, a tea/water and oxygen bar for after float sitting area and the lounge. My float room was clean, quiet, and perfect temperature. There are several music options and I chose the 10 min at the beginning to ease in and 5 min at the end to bring me back to reality. After the float, I took a nice shower with both their products (shampoo, body wash, washcloth, towel) and my own (conditioner, loofah, face wash). After I got dressed in the same room then exited to put on my shoes and get ready. I used their room to apply leave in conditioner, dry my hair, put on body lotion and makeup etc. Once done in this room I went to the oxygen bar with some hot tea. they have a variety of infusions for different circumstances. I chose eucalyptus. It was nice and relaxing and after I was done I asked Ian for some app information on booking etc. Ian is the best. He is so helpful, down to earth, and a realist. My kind of person :) Any interaction I have had with the staff here has been more than wonderful. So glad I got a membership here and can't wait to go again and again. The prices are VERY reasonable as I am comparing to my CA membership. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs to de-stress or has anxiety. Even if you just want some peace and quiet in a crazy world, this can do the trick! read more

I started floated in 2022, I loved my experience. both me and my partner enjoyed it. Floating itself, is centering, calming and relaxing. HOWEVER, after getting a membership (we floated 4 times a year and decided to get one) in 2024, the staff, care, and facilities at Powell TrueRest Spa, and the Easton location started to deteriorate. When you spend that money to float, its a act of self care, centering your mind,body and meditating...so when we exit the float chamber and relax in the lobby, it was jarring to have the attendant talking at the absolute maximum volume and laughing and making jokes. I don't mind it so much but my partner was not happy that she wouldn't leave us alone to sit and write, relax before leaving the building. We got out of there very quickly and never returned to the Easton Oh store. Now, with membership in hand, we went back to the Powell location. My first float back, the party light and the jet would not go off in the pod. Great, trash. The 2nd time, there wasn't enough salt in the bath and they were out of ear plugs/towels so everyone's appointment got pushed back 15 - 30 minutes-- again...trash. 3rd time, the water seemed like it wasnt he correct temperature. So we decided to cancel our membership. And that's where they get you. The 2nd week of March I wanted to cancel my membership at the store, the person working, new -no idea how to do it, said that she would leave a message with the manager. Great. The manager never called. I called, got the voice response...its funny how easy it is to sign up or schedule an appointment but not actually stop-charging you. Emailed, called for 2 weeks straight. Now it has charged my account again. DO NOT buy a membership from this company. Its just as sticky as a gym membership. Wait to the deals. They have valentine day deals and Christmas deals. And after about 2 -3 floats a year, I personally don't think you get much out of it. I'm going by tonight to speak directly with the manager and reporting to my bank. read more

So, Tom Brady has one in his house. The Patriots just purchased a few pods for the team. And Steph Curry and, his wife, Ayesha, are fans! Hey, if it's good enough for them -- sure as heck good for me! The BF found this place via Groupon so decided to try this out as a day date for us. After watching an introduction video on the whole process and it's benefits, Travis (the owner) showed us the pods, how to turn things on and off, and just the whole before and after process. First of all, that pod is huge. Like, it looks like I was going into the mouth of a hippo. After taking a mini shower to wash excess dirt from myself, I entered the pod to warm water. And instantly, started floating. He was right; you really cannot drown in there - even if you tried Floating is automatic! Floated in there with the lights on and off in the pod. Music on and off. Mouth of the pod closed and open. I was just trying to figure out what would make me the most comfortable. I realize I like the mouth of the pod OPEN, no lights and no music. I actually fell asleep. And then woke up startled looking for the light switch in there. lol It was quite relaxing but, something I had to "get used to." And I say this because for me, it's very hard to "be quite" and not think. Kind of like yoga -- and just being one with yourself. Definitely not something one "gets" initially -- I like to think of it as something you practice. My boyfriend, on the other hand, loved it from the get. He would like to go monthly to get his creative juices going. And just to shut out the world. Post-pod, I took a shower to get all the salt off of me and went to the waiting room to have some tea. I think being in the salt water, also, helped the eczema I've been suffering (annoyed) from on my hands. They didn't seem itchy for a day or two. Highly recommend trying this out. The Float waiting room is equipped with water, tea, Himalayan Salt Lamps, gentle music, possibly most important they have a restroom because there is a $500 fee if you pee in the water. I decided not to pee, save some Tubman's. The inner waiting room has Zen coloring books, colored pencils, sketch pads, crack your own geodes for sale, and the Himalayan Salt Lamps are for sale as well. Jonah got me all set up, watched a rather entertaining video, and showered, then slipped into a body temp pool of 1200 lbs of Epsom Salts. I closed the pod, and realized how hard it is for me to relax. The first ten minutes music played, then silence. Dark. Relaxation. It. Was. Awesome. I honestly did not know what to think or expect when some friends suggested we try a float spa. I did not know that these were even a thing. But Groupon had a deal so we went to see what floating is all about. Holy cow, y'all, I'm sold! We were greeted by Genesis, she's wonderful. She took us through the process of checking in, signing the required waivers, touring the spa, and answering our (many) questions before we all began our floats. She clearly knows what she's doing and made us feel right at home. It's a spa, after all, so it's hard not to feel all zen while you're there, but Genesis definitely helped with that. Each private float room contains a float pod (pictured) and a shower area. They provide all basic toiletries/towels you'll need for a pre- and post-float shower, but if you're picky about the products you use you can of course bring your own. The float pod allows you to customize your float experience a bit. You can choose complete sensory deprivation with no sound and complete darkness, or you can choose to listen to relaxing spa sounds or enjoy a variety of soothing light options. There are buttons in the pod so you can change things up at any time during your float. It was a little awkward at first, which I think is common for first timers. I definitely want to go back now that I know what I like. My body felt great after, like I had been massaged and exfoliated. Floating is definitely a unique way to rejuvenate and achieve full body relaxation. If you're on the fence, take the (literal) plunge and give this place a try! read more

Lately I've been looking for ways to elevate my meditation experience I came across flotation spa and gave this location a try. I can say about two days later I'm ready to go back for a second session the staff was kind and explain the full experience the first 30 minutes from my first experience rooms were clean and the overall experience including the oxygen bar what is the best experience and meditation I've had so far. When I try to explain this to coworkers many have turned down even family members I was to the same way thinking this wasn't worth the cost. This place is incredible! I went to other float centers in the valley but no one beats True Rest! Brittany was extremely helpful, informative, professional, and so cute! I got a little nauseous (30 mins into my float) but she said it's pretty normal on your first float since I haven't done it in a year or two. Brittany gave me the tour and explained how to use the pods. When I got out early she hooked me up on some peppermint nausea and gave me peppermint tea to help me out, and it definitely did make me feel better. The pods are awesome. Each suite comes with a private shower, ear plugs, wash cloth, and towel. The privacy is great. The pods are clean and extremely spacious. First time floating and I'm hooked! The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly and explained the various services available. Not full 5 stars only because the room in which your tank is located could have a shower courts in so you don't end up with water all over the floor, and a robe in addition to the towel would have been appreciated. If they cared they would've noticed I walked out within 25 minutes of float start, which means I showered, got dressed 25 minutes of the start time (& went to vanity room and combed hair), so estimate 15 minutes max able to last in tank. Big fan of floating, for years -facilities all over the country. So if I couldn't last 15 minutes in that specific tank at that specific center -something must've been wrong (and not with me). and that problem was what I would deem an unhealthy amount of chemicals either in the water or used to clean the tank but even with the lid up made my eyes burn and my sinuses instantly swelled shut, I understand that you're dealing with Covid but the goal is kill the germs not the customer. FYI the owner admitted that there probably was an issue in the reply, downplayed it actually placed it on me as being a more "sensitive" to those kind of chemicals client But hope come back and spend more money at their facility but didn't offer so much is a partial credit even knowing that I didn't get the service I paid for read more

I've been to this float spa a handful of times before and thought it was an absolutely amazing place and have strongly recommended it to friends... I wanted to visit again this evening and called around 8:30pm and the staff said they were closing for the night, and didn't give a reason. I may come back... But there are many float tanks in Vegas... and as a customer I really appreciate with Operating Hours are consistent. read more
