Originally we were debating which company to use to repair our pool liner and steps and had gotten quotes from several companies. We went with a company that claimed they could refurbish the steps... well we learned the hard way that some things are just too good to be true. I regret not just finding a way for Whitey to do my liner. I know he would have done it right and taken the time to answer all of my questions. I know this because my neighbors who we referred to him said that was their exact experience. He and his son kept coming over to check and monitor the refill of the pool once the liner was installed. Our experience with another company was not like that whatsoever. We kept having our calls and texts with legitimate questions ignored. If you call Whitey he may not pick up right away but he will call you back when he has a moment and will answer your questions. I appreciate that after 4 months of going back and forth to get a clear picture and answers. I also would say that when you look for companies to fix your stuff pay attention to the recency of reviews. I was floored when I saw the ratings on this website and a couple of other places. Whitey has customers spanning back decades. If I had to guess, many of them are old school too and won't take the time to jump online and leave a review.
