They clearly do an inadequate job during closing of winterizing the system and blowing out lines properly, because the last 2 years we have had damage to the pipes, pump and tiles that was completely avoidable. Then they charge above market prices for repair and hold off on providing service till repairs are done by them. They now send one inexperienced person to do the job that was done by 2-3 people earlier and charge more. Each maintenance report just blames the customer for their poor quality of service. It takes 90 minutes + to get to 180 degrees but still doesn't hold the temp well - its routinely at 175 when I get out. I have shown them that the heater is not pulling enough electricity to heat the area (power is available) indicating a defective heater. Jeff - the ops manager doesn't care. "Call the manufacturer" is his solution.

The purchase costed more than Costco or an online retailer, but It's well worth it. There are a lot of logistics when purchasing a hot tub such as delivery, installation, electrical, setup and so many other factors. And also warranty. These folks did an amazing job from electrical to set up and so many other items that's needed when setting up a hot tub. The best part is they provide amazing service afterwards. I've had to call for maintenance a few times and capital hot tubs takes care of it. Recently my control display died and Jay came over and took care of everything and was courteous, professional, and he knew his stuff. On top of that Jay also fixed another item under warranty that I wasn't even aware of. If you're looking for a real hot tub please don't buy online. Instead go to these folks and they will make it great and also after.

Thankfully everything worked out very well with the roof, but unfortunately, some granules and nails slid into the pool. When the husband got home after the roof was completed, who's a lawyer, said the pool looks like it's trash, needless to say, I almost passed out on the spot especially when he owes me $28,000. I contacted Paul from VIP POOLS and he was so understanding about my problem. He said to me don't worry about it, I'll take care of everything, when I'm done the homeowner will be very happy. Thanks to Paul the job is done, the homeowner is ecstatic and I was paid the 28,000 that was owed! Five stars is not nearly enough considering his outstanding workmanship, communication and his willingness to help!!!

We've had issues with our pool, and they've been willing/able to help in multiple ways. Obviously, they'll come out and do the work (and do a great job), but a pleasant surprise is that often, rather than send someone out and charge a fee to address an issue, Chris would give me a call and walk me through addressing the issue myself. Not only that, he also identifies ways for us to save money on equipment by making smarter choices. I feel more capable of addressing issues with the pool now myself and trust that Hydratech is a good partner for us in managing the pool. Highly recommend.
