I called Total Spa after i had another spa repair come…read moreout to take a look at my spa - the reason for the call was that the black hot wire kept tripping the breaker when connected- the "other" company came out right away and after about 10 minutes said to me- Ma'am im really sorry to tell you this but you have a bad circuit board" said i would need to order the part myself due to they not being a master spa dealer- I said ok- immediately ordered the circuit board (670$) and i called the "other" company and told them i ordered the circuit board and that it was expected in 2 days. They then told me i needed to drain all the water out in case we get another cold snap and that they really couldn't tell me when they could come out to install due them being very busy. Told me to drain the water and use a wet vac to get as much water out of the tub as i can- so i proceeded to do as directed, that night i got to thinking about it and just had a bad feeling, so in the am i immediately started looking for a 2nd opinion. That is when i found my life saver Tim- called him- he called me back the next day (friday) and i told him what had been told to me- he said that doesn't sound like a bad circuit board and said he could be out that following Monday- Tim came Monday and within 10 minutes found the problem- just sound bad wiring from the electrician, he fixed it! I am so thankful for Tim! He is very professional, and honest. If i could give Tim and Total Spa 10 STARS i absolutely would! He is your guy for Total Spa Repair! After I caught on to what he pulled with the bill and went to his store to discuss it, he gaslit tf out of me saying he was no longer doing business with ME to save face in front of the new young woman at the desk I'm certain he's attracted to - reframing me as the issue not his politics and greed. Mr. Sipple came to troubleshoot a problem with our hot tub and correctly diagnosed the circulating pump was the problem. He was going to order the part needed and then return to install it. I foolishly paid him $275 up front for the installation. Over 2 weeks later I contacted him and he was going to come the next morning. He never showed up, did not contact me to let me know, nor respond to any of my calls and texts. Meanwhile we were to get freezing temperatures and we needed the hot tub fixed ASAP to keep it from freezing. Mr. Sipple never responded to my calls and texts. He left us hanging and still had my $275. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was in a terrible car accident that day and gave him some time until after Christmas in case money was tight for him. When I contacted him to get our money back he put me off twice saying he needed more time. Then he was supposed to meet my husband to pay him in cash. He never showed up nor contacted us. He has stolen our $275. Don't trust him. We finally got our hot tub repaired by Valley Pool and Spa. They were great. Don't trust Sipple.
