So I crutch all the way into the nail salon + I sit in one of the pedicure chairs. All of the workers are busy, they definitely were not prepared for my "appointment". I wait for about 10-15 minutes and then someone comes and starts my pedicure. he was so rushed and was going in between me and another person. He asked me which pedicure I wanted, I chose the 2nd option which is like a 20 minute massage with hot stones. I got no hot stones and about a 3 minute massage. People kept coming in asking for a mani or pedi and the owner kept saying yes just 5 minutes, meanwhile every staff member was slammed. And you could tell they were just rushing around. I had asked for a manicure too and the owner started rushing on my nails, she was going so fast that 3 of my fingers started to bleed so much that I couldn't even get a manicure. I got frustrated with the service and just asked to be done and leave. I went to checkout and she charged me for the 2nd level pedicure which I refused to pay. THE CHERRY ON TOP is I got a terrible fungal infection and I have to be on topical medication for a year to prevent permanent damage + had to pay to see a dermatologist. It is true that it is now called Thumbs up. This experience left me questioning the cleanliness of equipment used. I would rather walk around with ugly nails than have them done in a dirty place.
