Wash, cut, and blowout were fabulous! My layers were shorter than expected but change was fine. Minimal wait time for walk-ins

I've been going to Chris for over 15 years. He has always done a fabulous job in my hair. I'm always happy when I leave the salon.

Well needless to say, we will be on the hunt for a better spot- FOR SURE. Here's what our feedback was to the establishment since they asked, and I decided to share here in case it's helpful to anyone thinking about going here: "The overall experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards expected of a professional wellness or spa environment. The walk between buildings felt awkward and disjointed, and the areas where services were provided were visibly unclean. This immediately detracted from the sense of calm and comfort that clients typically seek when booking spa services. The sauna instructions were overly complicated and nonintuitive. Rather than supporting a seamless, stress-free experience, the setup required unnecessary effort and attention at a time when guests should be able to arrive, decompress, and enjoy the service. One of the facials was particularly concerning. The provider fell out of her chair during the session, left the room for approximately 15 minutes within the allotted service time, and complained openly about missing supplies that had not been ordered. Her presentation and behavior appeared impaired or otherwise not fully attentive, which was alarming in a setting where professionalism, focus, and client safety are expected. There were also sanitation concerns. Gloves were not worn during the sessions- in particular extractions & close facial work, which raised hygiene and safety questions. Given the nature of skincare treatments and direct contact with facial areas, adherence to clear sanitation protocols is critical. Both facials were performed below expected standards. Product application felt careless rather than intentional for both clients. Creams were applied in a manner that resulted in product entering the nostril area for both clients. In one instance, the technician had to awkwardly clean the inside of a nostril during the service, which was unexpected and uncomfortable (and something never experienced prior). In the other facial, cream entered the nostril and remained there throughout the session, creating concern about inhalation; the client ultimately had to clean it out herself after the session. This experience was distracting and far from relaxing. Additionally, massage and sculpting techniques reflected a noticeable lack of refinement and training, particularly for clients accustomed to higher-quality services. Overall, the experience lacked attentiveness, professionalism, cleanliness, and the level of care expected in a premium setting."

We hung out there from noon to 8PM, so yes, we spent most of the day there and didn't even feel the need for any spa treatments! I loved that they supplied slippers and you could walk around with slippers instead of running around barefoot to everywhere. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for some of the jets not working, the temperature in some of the pools not matching the water temperature, the sauna rooms not hot enough, and the small menu of food options. But I did love that they had a media room to relax and watch TV, have an amazing pool upstairs which was the most crowded of all the places, and different places to just relax. So I was definitely relaxed! We enjoyed the main level pool the most and I loved that they served alcohol! So we had the option for drink or two. There were no kids either! So I would say this is a perfect getaway for adults for a one day trip!

Your pass is valid for the entire day. There is a heated pool on the roof as well as large indoor pool with hydrotherapy. Depending on the time of day, they do offer wellness classes. It looked pretty empty on this Sunday night on June 26th. From the outside you might not know how elegant the place is. Stepping through the security doors of this establishment, Stone Barrington would be impressed. I saw two women wearing Cheongsam Dresses. It is the second time today I have seen this style of dress. Maybe I need to get out more. Still, I like the look. The manager was kind enough to give me a business card before escorting me out the door when she realized I wasn't getting a massage today. A bit rude, but maybe they were getting ready to go home. I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this. 30 Minutes $60 60 minutes $80 120 Minutes $160 I did not get the chance to ask about Table Shower or Body Scrub. Four hands massage sounds like a plan, but I will have to find this out later on. I will be back to write an update on my first massage here. Oh, on their business card. They PREFER you to make an appointment. Walkins give you a 30 percent chance of getting in. I would have give a higher rating on first impressions on this place, but being escorted out the door left a sour taste in my mouth. Like I said, they may have been getting ready to go home. I will try this place again.

We were warmly welcomed, and they brought us to a shared room (not private) for the scalp scan. The actual analysis was SUPER quick, maybe 10 seconds, and they simply told me my scalp was clean. The staff didn't speak English, so even when I tried asking follow-up questions about my scalp condition, I wasn't able to get any clear answers. We booked a 90-minute couple's room, and the service started with a foot massage followed b a surprisingly long shoulder and neck massage. I did't time it, but it was long enough that I started wondering if I had accidentally booked a different treatment--in the best way! It was genuinely relaxing and definitely one of the highlights. The scalp massage and deep cleansing potion was soothing and felt amazing. One thing to be aware of is that the treatment completely relaxed the curl from my perm I've gotten 4 months ago and made my hair noticeably straighter. My sister loved it because it looked like she got a straight perm, but I was honestly shocked when my curls "disappeared." Overall, it was a relaxing and unique experience with some communication challenges and a few surprises. Still, worth trying at least once if you are curious about head spas!

I was able to make an appointment through email and they told me to come in on Sunday at 2 PM. I was ready to head out when I saw I had a few missed calls and voicemails asking if I could come in at 1 PM. However, by the time I checked it was already 20 mins past that. So I called them back and they told me that they had some sort of emergency and if I could come in at 4 PM instead. Thankfully, I was able to move some things around go in at that time. Once I arrived, I was asked to fill out a form that they would send me via email. I sat there for a few minutes until she did so. But moments later, the aesthetician came out and said that she is ready for me. I told her that I am still waiting for them to send me a form that I was asked to fill out. There seemed to be some misunderstanding or lack of communication between the front desk, person, and the aesthetician. I wish they had sent these forms before my appointment so I didn't have to waste time doing it there and cut into the time I was supposed to be starting the facial. I felt very rushed towards the beginning of my service. While I was filling out the form, the aesthetician (Darat) offered me some tea, which was a lovely touch. Then I headed in for my spa service. The actual facial itself was wonderful. One of the best ones I've gotten in a while. I told her that I recently got a nose piercing and to be careful around it as it is still healing. She was extremely careful and I felt no pain or sensitivity. She even threw in some head, arm and foot massages which I absolutely needed! It felt like a true spa experience. That is the reason I am giving it 4 stars, but docking one star because I wish the actual spa was a bit more organized in their scheduling and overall logistics. I think they have the potential, and I think I will be returning for another facial with Darat!
