For the record, I have not been asked, pressured, or bribed to update my review, I just feel it's fair to share how my experience has changed. Since then, I've been to several other facial places and estheticians, and none have compared to the quality of facials I've had at Sandra. It is undeniable that every esthetician on this team (including the one I had the negative experience with) is exceptional at giving facials. And, overtime, the positive experiences have accumulated and outweighed the negative one. Recently, I had a skin analysis with Sandra herself. She was detailed, patient, and answered every single one of my (many) questions. The products she recommended have genuinely transformed my skin -- I trust her recommendations and trust her with my skin (huge deal for me!) and am planning on doing some more intense treatments with her. Shoutout to the entire team for also remaining professional and kind to me, even though everyone clearly knows Im the one who wrote the controversial review.

She's also really affordable I highly, highly recommend her. Taking care of your skin is super important. Invest in it. Invest in Martha! She's very sweet, good natured and makes you feel welcome and at home! I def will not go to anyone else to take care of my skin!

I went in for a deep cleaning facial and she explained each step which made me feel comfortable and more knowledgeable about my skin. Martha is a kind and skilled esthetician who customizes and takes care of her clients from the moment they arrive at the salon. While filling out your client and COVID form, you are treated to a nice automatic foot massage before being escorted into the room. Martha is always willing to offer her skin suggestions without being pushy, and at the end she asked if I wanted any product suggestions or additional tips. I discussed my concerns and she gave me some great advice! I felt relaxed and very calm throughout the experience. Afterwards Martha offered me a choice of waters and extra cookies and chocolates in honor of the holiday season. Her rates are very reasonable for the service provided (first time clients get 10% off as well) and I look forward to my next facial with Martha! Tip: Pay in cash to avoid the credit card processing fee, although you can pay completely by credit if you so choose.

There was no rush, no attempt to sell me more than what I need and she explained everything about my face and what she was doing clearly. I didnt need a full facial but she did like 5 different treatments to my face and my pimples and only charged me for one thing. I feel comfortable with having her in charge of my face without mistakes and not feeling taken advantage of. Which I have known to be very rear. I asked her about some scars I would like to remove and she honestly said to come back in the time of the year when I am least in the sun. I felt that she was looking out for my skins best interest and not her wallet. Place was a little difficult to find as there are multiple entrances with that address and it had a construction scaffolding covering the building which was not her fault.

I'll absolutely take responsibility for not canceling ahead of time, that part is on me. What bothered me was how it was handled afterward. The confirmation text I received after the scheduled appointment was written in very casual slang, which felt unprofessional for a spa. Then when I explained that I had a medical emergency, the response I got was dismissive and snappy rather than compassionate. I understand policies and no shows, but tone and professionalism matter. Especially in a business centered around care and client experience. It just left a bad first impression, which is disappointing because I was genuinely excited about coming in.

It felt like far too much was done at once, especially for skin that was already acne-prone and sensitive. I was also sold a moisturizer for around $60 that ended up making my skin red and irritated. I'm sure others may have a different experience, especially if they don't struggle with acne or sensitivity, but I really wish I had listened to some of the other reviews before going. I was already considering Accutane beforehand, and my skin became so much worse after this facial that I'm now on it. Please be cautious if you have reactive or acne-prone skin.

The consultation was straightforward & quick--Katie thoroughly examined my skin and reviewed the high-resolution photos taken with their machine. Afterward, I was taken to a private room to sign a consent form outlining the procedure. Katie then applied numbing cream to my face, and after it took effect, she removed it and began using the laser to treat my skin. Despite the numbing cream, the treatment was still painful, and my face burned a lot afterward, which is a normal part of the process. Following the laser session, I was brought to a separate room where I used cold air and an iced face roller to cool my skin for about 20 minutes before leaving. The treatment is on the pricier side, but the results are truly fantastic--Although the procedure was painful and the healing process took about seven days, it was absolutely worth it in the end.
