I trusted Yelp and booked an appointment online. Kristine immediately made me feel at ease, asked me about my expectations and patiently explained her process. Kristine made sure to draw a line around my natural brow line so that I can envision what she was going to do. She did a nice job of cleaning up my stray hairs by first waxing then tweezing closer to the brow. So glad I found her! I am very low maintenance and she definitely did not upsell. You're bitter because she wouldn't let you make an appointment as you clearly cancelled on her twice, last minute, per your own review! She shouldn't have even let you make that second appointment! Be respectful of small business owners, especially during this tough time. You're obviously mad because the quality and price of this place are exceptional and unfortunately you won't be able to experience that again. Really a pity. Anyway- my actual review: I come here for waxing. I actually live in Boston but visit my sister in Bayside often and this place is amazing so it's my go-to. I get a no frills painless brazilian wax. She is super fast, she does an immaculate job and the price is beyond reasonable. Just text her what you want and a time and she is flexible. She fit me in once at 6:30pm no problem. Just show up for your scheduled appointment time and don't cancel last minute and all will be good! See you Monday! :)

I never get skin irritation or any stray hairs when she works her magic. The other women vary in skill set. There are some who are exceptional at brow threading but Nisha is the only one I trust for both. (Tip) Take advantage of cheaper deals on off peak days; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The Brazilian waxes are $5 cheaper Be mindful, after January 2023, I think prices are going up for inflation slightly.

I made an appointment for a microblading consultation a few weeks ago here,…read more There was no fee for the consult & i left very happy with the time spent with the  makeup artist, Stella, & with the manager, Brian, who went over the cost of the service, along with other services I'm considering to do in the future. They were both extremely helpful & professional. Fast forward to today :  I had microblading  done  & I'm extremely happy with the results !  I've had microblading done before, but I wanted to try someplace local, but I've hesitated in the past because I didn't feel comfortable with the level of skill and experience from other microblading/perm eyebrow salons. After having my eyebrows done today, I can honestly say I would highly recommend Beauty Street for permanent, semi-perminent eyebrow microblading & design.  Salon was clean, ambiance was relaxing & I look forward to trying some of their other services in the future.  Check out their website since they provide many different services - they're definitely worth looking into!  I left having already made an appointment for a touch-up up (as recommended & included in the initial  cost). I'm  looking forward to going back to BEAUTY STREET again !  I highly recommend ! A++

I've been here twice already and am about to book my third appointment. If it's your first time, they'll do a skin analysis with a face scanner and it'll tell you how hydrated/pigmented/uv damaged etc your skin is. Every month they run different promotions but Black Friday is when you should get all the deals. The space is very clean and welcoming. The staff are all so nice and nobody sells you on anything which is my biggest turnoff from these places. The best part is they take tips via Venmo and Zelle.

Birthdays coming up, so I figured I'd try it out after I saw a friend get hers done here (hers also came out soooo pretty!) I went to Meredith and she helped me find a good way to customize my lashes so that it suits my eyes. One eye has lashes continually falling out . The lash glue was irritating my eye for days and the lash volume was just noticeably uneven due to fallout in one eye. Finally, ( as I was on vacation then in Myrtle beach a few days later) I went to have them removed . The tech told me whoever did this work placed the extension way to close to my eyelid which is why it's irritated she was able to remove only a few lashes from both eyes as the glue that was used wasn't breaking up from the solution she was using and because the last was put on too close to the eye lid the solution poured right into my eyes Disaster . Be careful ladies bc you don't want these extensions glued so close to the eyelid , it's supposed to be at least 1 mm away from the lid
