The facials are sooo relaxing and refreshing. My skin texture and appearance have improved significantly since I've started coming here. A lot of my gal pals have gotten eyelash extensions and I wanted to try it out too. One day while I was getting my facial done, I was asking Michelle what the process was like and inquired a lot about the aftercare (because I've heard that it can be a hassle, especially when it comes to cleansing your face). I took the plunge and tried the lash extensions, and I LOVE THEM. I have gotten soo many compliments about the extensions and everyone constantly asks where I got them done. Some of my friends couldn't believe how natural they looked. The lashes took some time getting used to it, but I think it was definitely worth the price I paid for. I love how much time it shaved off from my make up routine (I used to curl lashes, then put on about 3-4 coats of waterproof mascara). The night time cleansing routine got a lot faster, too. Overall - I love getting my lash extensions and facials from here. The staff is professional and the environment is clean. Their bookings are also very flexible and they're open every day! I book my appointments with them by speaking Korean. But they also speak English, and I believe one of the workers also speaks Chinese, as well. I would say that the only downfall is that the parking can be a bit of a hassle sometimes (they have one spot in the parking lot, but when it's taken - you have to find street parking). I got my eyebrows 6D microbladed by Mabel a week ago and I am very satisfied with the results. She was very experienced, careful, patient, sweet, and gentle. She knew exactly what I wanted and she paid close attention to detail and took her time with her work, which I admire very much. At first, the color will be very dark, but within 5-7 days the eyebrows will appear very natural.

Since all my favorite lash extension salons either closed during covid or relocated to an area that…read moreonly has paid street parking, I was looking for a new spot closer to home. I decided on trying out Fay Lashes since it was only a 2-block walk from my apartment. I was thrilled after my first appointment for a new set, they really went above and beyond in making sure the style was exactly what I wanted and took care in giving me soft and voluminous lashes. Unfortunately, every other appointment over the next 6 months was a disappointment. At first, I expressed to them that the long inner corners were uncomfortable and poking my eyes, and requested they be shortened but they told me I had to buy a brand new set if I wanted that done - which, as you all know, is much more expensive than a routine fill appointment. Second, once you're done they make you hold the fan to dry the glue yourself and basically try to rush you out the door even if your eyes are still tearing from the fumes. Third, I started noticing that they began to use fewer but larger clusters of lashes at every fill, which creates the illusion of volume but leaves obvious gapping when one falls out a few days later from being too heavy for my natural lashes. It got so out of hand that I would be "done" in only 15 minutes when I know full well that a normal 3-week follow-up appointment takes at least 45 mins to an hour when applied correctly. I did not appreciate the shortcuts they were taking, so I took my business elsewhere.
