She made me feel comfortable and was very friendly. I didn't have a swimsuit and they let me borrow a disposable swimsuit. I only did the $85 to use the spa no massage or facial. Pros: loved the dry sauna. All workers were kind. Slippers and robe were normal. Tea and pineapple was a nice treat which didn't cost anything. They had makeup wipes, toothpaste, combs, hair dryer in female bathroom. Cons: have you seen the movie backrooms? It felt like that but as a spa. The wet sauna had an unpleasant odor. Almost like mildew. The layout is very random on each floor. Random boxes filled with materials. Broken sauna right next to hot tubs. Whole lemons in the hot tub was kinda weird. Not sure how long they had been in there. The salt room had random things in it, almost like a storage room. Didn't feel like salt was being pumped in like other salt rooms I have been in. Overall it just felt like the sauna as a whole needed a massive face lift. I didn't get into the hot tubs as everything just felt old. Just felt weird vibes to be honest. Maybe the services are great as I didn't partake in those. The lady at the check-in said the body scrubs are great. I would not send friends here.

In the middle of a street in Koreatown, NYC, you enter a shabby looking entrance and take a very small elevator upto Juvenex, where you're greeted with tranquil scent, running water and humid air. The entrance is a great contrast the grubbiness. Lockers with keys are in the changing rooms, and the spa provides robes, slippers and paper undergarments. The spa package included a soaking tub with a bottle champagne and fruit snacks. The full body scrub was performed by two industrial spa mechanics who scrubbed my shark like skin until there were lumps of it all over the table in an unappealing mass. I apologized and thanked them for using what felt like the plastic brushes designed to get the grime off of cars at a car wash. The deep tissue massage was something I'd been needing (no pun intended) for a while for neck and shoulder pain, and while uncomfortable was conducted well and professionally, and eased pain for several days / week afterwards. My skin felt much healthier and wasn't as sore this winter as a result. As a pricey treat I'd recommend Juvenex, the couples massage is a worthy gift for your partner.

When I was trying to see if it was possible to make an appointment on the same day, the receptionist said I can just pay at the spa, instead of getting a Groupon deal (probably because Groupon takes out some portion as commission). I was really hesitant because I've paid the spa directly before and when the service was terrible, I couldn't get Groupon customer service protection. Since this spa allowed me to split 3 facial package with my husband, I agreed to pay the spa directly. We were 10 minutes late because there just wasn't any parking available around Main Street, but the receptionist was very understanding and said don't worry about being late. Once we got there, we were in a couple room and got changed and got started right away. I had Tina and my husband had Zoe - they were both professional and extraction and décolletage massage was nice. They didn't push us to upgrade the service and my husband and I were so comfortable that we both fell asleep and snored. I definitely had a better product and techniques before and I would rate this place more like 4.5 stars, but since the customer service was great, I'm leaving 5 stars. *Tip: pay in cash because if you use your credit card, tax will be charged.

I came on a groupon, in my search to find my new regular spot, but honestly was rather disappointed. The products used are ok - Keve and Collin - some generic spa stuff (did not see any commercial stuff like Vaseline or other drug store brands, as you might at some other cheap spas). My facial was actually somewhat torturous -- the facial massage is just so rough and not at all relaxing or rejuvenating. I felt like the facialist was trying to force moisture back into my poor dry skin. The extractions were fine, on the properly aggressive side. I HATE that they use razor to do eyebrows - no reason not to pluck, esp as I wasn't that overgrown! I would not return, though packages run from as low as about $35 per facial in a package of 10.

She showed me what how my brows could look like with their 2d or 3d microblading. I left with a microblading package to try and save my brows that have gone downhill since my college days. I picked the 3D package and did two sessions. I'm very happy with my brows because one side was fuller than the other and now they look even. After my last microblading session I also purchased a hydrofacial package. It comes with massage and facial as well. I like this skincare spa, it's very relaxing and I'm just going to stick with this place. Need to get rid of my scars. You can also come back for the free eyebrow trim and shape as well. Can't wait to try out the other services. Yo-yo is the one who always takes care of me and I highly recommend her. I felt safe in her hands. On…read morea particularly weary day where I was exceptionally tired and my pursuit of completing errands was thwarted by sudden rainfall, I decided to finally give it a try. I was quickly ushered to a back room free of frills, aromas, or aesthetic warmth--only consisting of a double bed set-up for couples. I took this as an ominous sign that there would be no one coming to save me. They were extremely prompt in returning, thus hustling me to undress much faster. Once settled, the female masseuse went to town on my back. She was extremely attentive and was not shy about battling each and every sore muscle out of my back--kneading out my knots meticulously, as if she were tenderizing a tough piece of steak. This massage was not for the weak and timid--rather for those who seek solutions and reprieve from tightness, void of frivolity. Those who enter must decide which of these two categories they are, and throughout that massage, I had to remind myself that I was the latter. After a fruitful hour and a fairly good price paid, I emerged from that massage a new woman, freely agile and with a refreshed lightness in my step.

It's very unprofessional to ask for a higher tip, especially when the service provided was poor.

I was seated instead of lying down during the massage, which may have also affected the experience a bit, but it was still very effective. Overall, it was a great visit.
