My husband and I were walking around and got pulled in by their happy hour deal and cute vibes! My husband got a Hugo Spritz first and a beer second, and I only got a Mirto spritz (I'm slower than he and just wanted a casual drink). They also brought out olives & chips for a snack which my husband loved! The server was very friendly, we really enjoyed him! We didn't order any food, but did see they had a gluten free option as well. No extra charge for sitting, which is something they stated when they first sat us so that was nice as well.

The area around the Trevi Fountain is a complete mob scene, thousands of tourists many waiting in line for a seat at a bustling establishment. Noise and chatter fill the air. Walk a few blocks and you will find Il Maraggio. When you get here the whole environment changes. The maître d' greets you with a warm smile and treats you like a member of the family. You can sit outside, but if you want a quiet romantic experience, dine inside. The menu is robust. As an appetizer we had the Artichokes (Roman style). They were fabulous. For the main course we had the vegetarian lasagna (white not red) and the grilled sole. The maître d' came to the table and filleted the sole expertly leaving nothing but a luscious delight. The vegetarian lasagna was fantastic. We also ordered a salad that was tasty. Don't miss this gem.

Found it on our way to the next landmark. Stopped for a couple beers, and appetizers. Love the outdoor seating, a big fan of it especially when visiting Rome. Service was good, no issues there. If you're ordering off the menu, order an Italian dish, don't order a burger and expect it to be great. You're in Italy for sakes!!

Think chef boyardee in a good way. The chef used an authentic Italian pasta sauce based on his mother's recipe, and the authentic SatdiniAn pasta tasted just like it. My capreae salad was fresh, large, and delicious. The local wine was good, and the prosecco delicious (maybe why I am correcting so many typos). Nothing better than lunch at an outdoor table in the middle of Rome with pleasant service and fresh tomatoes.

    Gluten free veggie pizza.

Right around the corner from the Trevi Fountain and Victor Emanuel Monument. It's about halfway between the two. They have gluten free options. Gluten free pizza and pastas. It took about ten minutes for them to prepare it. I had a pizza. It was pretty good. The convenient location is a definite plus as well.

Watch out for this place. Food was mediocre and they sneak in an extra 10% charge in addition to the 12% listed services charge

Food is fine but portions are ridiculous. There is a 12% service charge in addition to overpriced pasta. Don't go here

Located in an outer neighborhood (you can take a bus from Pizazza Venezia to within a couple of blocks of the restaurant), we had a late reservation but entered to find the comfortable main rooms still active and lively. When our waiter realized we spoke English, he sought out the owner who helped us navigate the large menu of choices and with his encouragement, we made a meal of primarily the restaurant's starters. We had crudos and tartares, raw clams, and plates of fish and vegetables. The food was extraordinary. Probably the best seafood I've ever had, and I grew up on the New England coast and now live in NYC -- I think I know fish. We also enjoyed a delicious Sardinian wine and ended the meal with the owner's treat of two small glasses of a strawberry liqueur, house-made. Our only regret was that it was our last day in Rome and couldn't return to try more things on the menu. We appreciated the restaurant's friendliness, helpful service, and most of all, the superb fish and shellfish. If I can't travel to Sardinia, I can only hope to return soon to Rome so we can eat at Eleonara d'Arborea again.

They are known for the best Truffle anything anywhere. lol. A little tricky to find and very small. Maybe 6 or 7 tables at most. I was surprised when I read the Yelp reviews that a few of my awesome Yelpers also dined here too and gave high marks so I was very excited to give them a try. After ordering some tasty vino we went the Focaccia with mozzarella, black truffle with a truffle cream sauce. The Focaccia was lite and a thin crust. Topped with some delicious mozzarella and black truffle made this appetizer and home run choice. After the Focaccia I decided to stay on theme and went with the Fettuccine al tartufo nero e porcini (fettuccine black truffle & porcini mushrooms). Holy cow, a delicious culinary delight. Some other hits of the table included the beef fillet with green pepper sauce & Digione mustard. Astice grigliato, verdure al vapore e maionese alla curcuma (Grilled lobster with steamed veggies in a mayonnaise turmeric sauce and a Lasagna, tartufo nero, funghi, mozzarella e grana (lasagna with blach truffle, mushrooms, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese) All were just amazing. Impeccable service and an old world Italian charm decor made this a delightful experience.

What a hidden gem in Rome!…read more Went here about a year ago and still think about this meal to this day. My party stayed here a long time, and the restaurant eventually filled up (we got there early for dinner). The break down of what my party ordered: Pane (bread) x2 - €2 - didn't really order this, it was just brought out at the start of the meal. Sauté Di Cozze (mussels sauté) - €10 - not a huge mussels fan, but I ate a couple. Looked really good, so I'm sure if you like mussels you would enjoy this dish. Risotto alla crema di scampi (risotto with scampi cream) - €12 - the scampi cream really stood out in this dish. I'm a big fan of risotto so this dish was still pretty good, but I personally don't care for scampi cream. Spaghetti alle carbonara (pasta with beaten eggs, bacon, pecorino cheese) - €10 - I've had carbonara before this (and have even made it myself at home), but I've never had carbonara as good as this. Usually I get sick of cream sauces on pasta pretty quickly, but I could eat their carbonara all day everyday. Definitely my favorite dish of the evening. - the pasta was the most al dente pasta I've had in my whole time in Italy. Spigola alla vernaccia (sea bass, olives, vernaccia wine, cherry tomato) - €15 - solid dish, didn't stand out. Panna cotta della casa (homemade panna cotta) - €5 - classic panna cotta, nothing special but still a great way to finish off the meal. To drink: 1/2 liter of wine - €7 - delicious for a wine and light, got me tipsy 1 liter of water - €2.50 Limoncello on the house! - the staff was very generous with their limoncello. It made the experience at this restaurant even better than it already was! Although there were a lot of dishes that weren't to my liking, it was more because I'm not a fan of the raw ingredient rather than the restaurant preparing them poorly. Since the carbonara really changed my life, the alcohol was generous, and the staff was amazing, I still give this restaurant five stars. I would definitely come back here again and recommend it to others.
