Greek salad, cacio e Pepe, pizza

One of the best meals we had in Rome and super convenient to our AirBnb and the Vatican. We came based on our host's recommendation and great yelp reviews. Started with a Greek salad and tried the cacio e Pepe and a salami pizza. Finished the meal with berry cheese cake. Everything was really delicious and fresh. Service was also excellent! The restaurant itself is beautiful and has cozy booths, large tables and intimate tables. It was raining when we went but they also have outdoor seating. As with all of our meals in Rome, prices were very reasonable and portions were generous.

My favorite place to get carbonara in Rome. Near the Vatican but not touristy. All the items on the menu are very unique but I go with the classic Italian pasta dishes. Everything is affordable so it doesn't make a large dent in your wallet:)) Wasn't a big fan of the seafood gnocchi. Pizza was big! Def had a hard time finishing it.

Good food near Vatican City. I've had quite unusual home made lasagne, it was with artichokes sauce - very good. I've also tried seafood pasta with a head of a tiger shrimp in the middle of the pasta! Next day I've had one of the traditional pasta (don't remember its name) - was OK, but a bit too salty. I've also tried pizza with meat - very good. I like also their red house wine. Service is nice and speaks English. It's good to know, that they charge fixed rate for service and put it onto the bill, it's 2 euro per person, doesn't matter what you've ordered.

    Parmigiana pizza!

Great place. Food was good and priced reasonable. Would recommend for a good place to eat near the Vatican.

Everyone needs a trip to Italy, if nothing more than to enjoy all of the food…read more When you've landed, you're hungry, and it's not lunch time, and it's not dinner time, you may end up, selling for whatever you can find is open We were absolutely starving, and wanting to indulge in our first Italian meal, what do you do when you're in Italy?! You may want to indulge in pasta or pizza! We walked in, and we were immediately seated. Air conditioning is nonexistent, and on a hot summer day, it would've been cooler to dine outside. had that been an option, and it was 95° out. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately told that Pizza and some of their baked Italian dishes were not going to be available. Boo. The wait staff seemed fairly nice, and offered to bring us glasses of water. The glasses were super tiny, and thankfully the waitress brought over a carafe of water. We asked for a few suggestions, since both of us had been craving pizza, and she suggested the Carbonara. She said it was one of the best dishes. While we were waiting for our food, several other tables were immediately filled up with other customers, families and friends alike. It was interesting that those tables were served pizza... I'll just leave it at that. The carbonara Was anything less than delicious. We both found the pasta to be barely cooked. Not al dente, but barely cooked. The seasoning was mediocre, and there was very little pork, which is supposed to be the highlight of this dish, in this dish. Diners tip: if you are not a local, keep in mind that your version of Customer Service may or may not fit what Customer Service is in Rome. Despite being hungry, I had a hard time, finishing the food, let alone actually eating it. The waitress only came over at the end to drop off the check, and when she noticed that I had barely eaten anything, first gave me a strange look, and then asked about it. It was definitely one of those situations where saying something was wrong would've been met with unwanted attention. This is in a place to add to your must try list... There are plenty of other places, even in and around this area that more than likely would be a better choice.

Bufala pizza with red sauce and lasagna was excellent. Seating was fast and good serviceread more
