Do not get delivery from this store. They have deceptive business practices. They provided me a day and time they had no intention of delivering during. They called me twice that day saying they will be there between 1 and 5 when they had no intention of coming at all. I called to find out they did not send all the items to the delivery company, so the delivery company knew the day before they were never coming. And they still called me twice saying they will be there the day of. I then had to call IKEA 4 times, as they do NOT call back. I am now on hold again for a 5th time, and going to ask for my $900 back and shop through someone else. read more

great ikea! much less busy than the Philadelphia store, was very clean and had helpful, attentive staff.

IKEA is like a grown up fun house. Enticing and exciting but ultimately scary. IKEA - the brand itself - has moderately priced home furnishings at a mediocre quality. It all looks nice, definitely not the best quality but it's cheaper than most other stores. The place is a giant maze and no matter what time of day you go you will feel claustrophobia and you will wait in a long line that will take a long time to get through. They never have a lot of cashiers so despite how long it takes you to walk through the mouse maze, you will inevitably spend most of your time in the checkout line. This location seems to be worse than the Philadelphia location - for lines at least. There is ample parking and the staff was helpful at the returns/exchanges - but again, long lines. If you need cheap furniture and don't care much about quality and like to wait in line then IKEA is your place. Sometimes you'll get lucky with a real gem. They do have great organizational products and decor. read more

Worst lines and not enough cashiers no matter what time of the day. Not enough people on the floor to even ask questions. Horrible...not going back. read more

Best food around at a great price! Salmon dinner with veggies 6.50. Great deal supper healthy food. Kids meals are 2.50. Feed your family for under 20 bucks read more

Was charged twice for an item, by the time I realized, my cashier was serving someone else. So I went to customer service to hope to be refunded. There was no system for taking people in order, as many people who arrived after me were seen at the desk before me. I was then told that I needed to return to that cashier and get a manager to do the refund. I find it hard to believe that customer service is unable to refund this. After waiting for 30 minutes my cashier was no longer there, meaning I was unable to receive a refund for a mistake that was not my own. Ridiculous read more

Awesome place! First IKEA I have been to and it was amazing clean, everything was labeled and priced correctly, will be back when I need more furniture! Also as a side note they are very straightforward to put together and include all the needed tools to do so. read more

The staff is always welcoming. We've used smaland a few times for my 4 year old son, and he loves it. I love to eat here ( swedish meatballs) and browse the clearance section! read more

This IKEA store is going downhill. It used to be great and my favorite. Things got changed over the years. It doesn't have much stock as before, it looks like they going out of business. A lot of empty shelves, I mean A LOT. A lot of product out of stock, bathroom lock did work (the individual door in a single customer room), the lock was actually absent and nobody seems to care. There were few registers open on Friday evening and even then.. the belt didn't work. And many other things to be considered as a down experience. C read more

I can't believe that a company this large has a customer service as abysmal as IKEA. Forget about trying to contact someone at a store since you need a specific extension (which is not posted anywhere on their website). Their corporate support is just as bad saying they are completely unable to take any calls at any time. It is an absolute shame because I really like some of their products but this experience has completely made me resent this giant store of particleboard. read more

Horrible pickup service Have been waiting for 45 min to pick up one item. Will not be back.

Staff is nice. I brought a bed and a mattress from there today and spent over 300.00! I had to go back because I was missing the hardware. When I got to putting the slats on, they were to big and then realized wrong brand for the slats! They had it in the wrong the wrong aile . Will be calling tomorrow and complaining! It's ridiculous! read more

Don't ever expect prompt service from the furniture pick up section. They told me my order would be brought out in 10 minutes, I regret to inform you that over an hour later I'm still standing here with no order and no explanation with no employee caring about my requests. If this were a Saturday maybe it's excusable, but it's 1130 on a Tuesday. Horrible service, I won't be back and you shouldn't come. read more

If you are thinking of purchasing a quartz countertop from this store, don't. I recently did just that, and the end result is a shoddy install for which I am currently looking for ways to remedy. I've tried contacting both IKEA and the contractor they sent to resolve the issue, in the end they threw a disclaimer in my face, as if a disclaimer somehow excuses incompetence. You'd think that being a big company that cares about providing quality products, IKEA would screen contractors and only work with those who meet certain standards. I thought that too, that's why I chose to purchase my quartz countertop at IKEA. It was not cheap and it wasn't the lowest price I found, but I trusted the IKEA name. I was wrong. I am now paying for that misplaced trust, I have to look at the shoddy work everyday. read more

It's fun to go here sometimes to get ideas when remodeling, but the quality of the products aren't great. Also, if you go on the weekends it is very crowded and hard to get through the crowds. read more

I really love Ikea and think they have fantastic products. The new location is fabulous and really well designed. And the parking lot is very well organized. But. I avoid Ikea like a plague on the weekends. If you don't like kids running around you and smoochy couples, make a point to visit Ikea on the weekdays. read more

Very poor customer service. I ordered $800 worth of furniture, IKEA had to cancel the delivery secondary to a snow storm (understandable) since that time I've been making daily phone calls to resolve this (apparently their is no commission to be made rescheduling a delivery) the last person I spoke to agreed to just refund my $ it's been 10 days but no sign of a refund. read more

Honestly, I just really loved the smoked salmon that was $7.99 for 7 oz. I usually pay $6.99 for 4 oz. I came here for plastic storage bins. They were $6.99 with the lid. Although I am unhappy with the fact that the lids do not click or lock, they will do. The only reason I bought them because I end up taping bins anyway. I also bought my trusty Tupperware set for $3.99 for a bunch of pieces. I bought this set and swear by it because of the variety of sizes. I make sauces a lot so I like that fact that there are smaller containers. However MR IKEA, can you please start selling them in a color other than green?! read more

Great location! Love the child sitting service! 1:30 hr for IKEA Family Members!!!

I placed an order on 5/20/2020 with IKEA online and have had multiple delivery issues with the company that they have contracted to deliver their items in my area, NAL Group. I have also left a review of that company. Despite my repeated assurances that I would never shop with IKEA again based on the completely inept delivery company if my issue wasn't resolved, IKEA made no effort to retain my business or the potential future business of everyone I know. I have submitted complaints to the BBB for IKEA as well as NAL Group regarding my first time experience with both companies. read more

I hate their furniture, it is only compressed pencil shavings and Elmers glue. But..their food is excellent and reasonably priced. Nutritional breakfast for $2.99. Tasty and fulfilling dinners for about $7. read more

I love love love #Ikea. I love the items, my son really likes his Ikea kids bedroom... however I felt like this location is going downhill really fast. The employees were a bit rude and there are numerous check out lines, but only 5 open? On a Sunday? When its packed? Didn't make much sense. The lines to check out were horrendous. If you can, go during the week. When employees acknowledge you and aren't rude. read more

Enjoy the USA headquarters for IKEA because you've found it! I've only once made it through this location without buying something. It's much more of a challenge than the South Philly location. This tells me that the selection is bigger and better. Also, fun tip for people who need ideas but won't sink as low as pinterest. Look through the catalog. Lastly, the meatballs. I'd love to buy a special girl those meatballs someday. read more

Free 1.5 hours of child care and they actually engage them in activities from what I've noticed (coloring and that sort of thing). The food is cheap ($.50 all beef hot dog or $1 frozen yogurt anyone?). Picked up some of those $4 spice racks for holding hair products and creating a mini children's library. And the rooms are fun to look at--yes, a lot of the furniture is cheap and poorly made as we all are well aware of, but it's fun to look at how small spaces are configured and organized. read more

The customer service here is the worst I've encountered. Don't go to this IKEA if you can help it. They do not care about customers as people but view them as expendable and as a nuisance. I was talked to in a patronizing manner and was not heard. The other two (Elizabeth and Paramus) are at least decent and will treat you like a person and talk to you respectfully. They were willing to listen and help. read more

Of course they have great furniture, but the staff are friendly and very helpful, too, from couch advise (so honest they advised us to get a cheaper couch than we were considering) to mattress help (Frank helped us get a lower price than it should have been on a mattress because it was advertised lower somewhere else in the store) to a friendly loading guy that helped us with our huge mattress and heavy furniture. Good as-is section, though I guess it's always hit or miss. Found a $65 desk topper (i.e. just the wood) for $3 and a shelf for $2. read more

We bought a huge Pax closet system from Ikea & decided to have their service put it together. The system was delivered & assembled. However, AFTER it was assembled they said the doors will be delivered on a later date. I had to then go to the store to figure it out what happened to the doors & why they weren't delivered. That took about an hour of my time. The doors were finally delivered weeks later. My husband was going to put the doors on...no big deal, right?? No!!! The doors should've been put on FIRST!!! I've tried calling customer service but you end up sitting on the phone for 20-40min with no resolution & you can't call the store directly. (The guy in customer service said that's because the stores get a lot of calls..hmmm I wonder why!?) So now my husband has to disassemble the entire thing only to reassemble again. Thanks Ikea! Great job! read more

Never again. First, the salesperson didn't include a piece that we needed for each of two beds that we bought, so we trekked all the way back to the store for those. Second, how's this for 21st century customer service: to make arrangements for pick up of a return that you bought in the store, you MUST return to the store. No phone # is available, no online way to make arrangements. You must show up in person to make arrangements. So, so done with IKEA. read more

Mislabeled product so I ended up with the wrong table. Customer service says they won't replace it unless I drive an hour back to the store even though they admit their fault. I was happy to ship it back but they refused. read more

I live close enough to it, and has become my go to spot for.. "stuff" have a kids play area , and a restaurant. The food is Ok - don't expect too much now. I kind of like IKEA in general, but there's nothing commendable about this place. the staff is helpful , and know where "stuff" is! read more

This IKEA was SO MUCH FUN. I never went to one before and this was the best experience I could have asked for. My parents and I spent a whole day shopping to furnish my apartment. They service was great and the location was perfect for where I am currently living. They delivered my big furniture for $60! The furniture is very basic, and yet they have accessories and styles that are way better then any shit you'd find at like Bed Bath and Beyond or whatever. It's more function over anything. I wanted a small couch that had a pull out bed for guests? They had it. I wanted a desk with shelves above the desk? Got it. OH, and one last thing: THE FOOD. I eat their lox on a daily basis. And they have a dessert called "Appelkaka" which is just funny. Oh those Swedes! read more

Wow...people working there behind the kitchen are miserable. Trays were nasty had ketchup stains on some and grunge. Serving staff couldn't be bothered. No Swedish meatballs and they didn't care to put out more. Not prepared at all! We walked out. read more

Okay so I was in the market for a shoe cabinet, decided to stop by ikea.. Bad move. First, I'm a fan of ikea. They always seem to have the odd things I'm looking for. Yesterday I stopped at the store in Conshocken, it was packed! Literally crazy in there, fortunately I knew what I was getting. My nightmare started during checkout, I get in line and they are very long. I notice the line next to me is credit/debit only, there was a yellow sign hanging from the register number. Im in line and the cashier starts scanning, I have a child in the cart and a few odd items. The cashier could not reach the box, I offer to help. She then yells at me and says I need to do it. I just looked at her and said okay. She insisted on having the box removed, I do so and as she is putting the box back in the cart she hits my daughter in the arm. Ridiculous! No apology or anything. She was too busy talking to the other cashier across from her. After all that I go to pay. She says swipe your card, I said I would like to oh cash. Not uttering a word she just points to the yellow sign (below eye level) and it's a credit/debit sign. The other lane was clearly marked credit/debit not this one. Whatever things happen, I figure she made a mistake hitting my and as did I. No, she cancels the order and makes me go into another line. She even had to have a manager come over to cancel the order, I had to wait another 15 minutes in line. Bad move by manager and cashier. Will not be back read more

A good place to lose an afternoon. The food is pretty good if you want to eat there before shopping (brilliant money maker on their end). I never asked anyone for help because I didn't need it. If you've ever been to more urban locations of IKEA in Brooklyn, NYC or Elizabeth, NJ you will appreciate the wonderful employees of this location in the heart of PA. You are greeted with "good mornings" and "hellos". People are ask if you need help. You can readily receive assistance even if the item is not on the shelf. If the employee you happen to ask does not know - they will actual consult another person who does know. The store is clean and we found the online inventory to be accurate. It is well organized with areas under renovation clearly blocked off with signs and barricades. The nursing room could use some work - it's a comfy chair with a changing table and no windows or discernible ventilation which can make it a little smelly when you are trying to feed your baby. Other than that - this place is many steps above its urban counterparts. read more

$ .50 hot dogs & the ligonberry soda are a good thing but the upstairs food is sub par. The soup was good as were the veggie pattys but the wraps were runny & bland, the apple cake was dry, fell apart, & bland, and what ever forgetable side we had was well, forgetable. read more
