I still needed flooring for another room, so this was definitely a generous offer and very much appreciated. I had another issue yesterday. One of the boxes of flooring I bought was incorrect. The very last box was another brand and another color! Oh no! The contractor didn't find it until working in the last room. The boxes were very long and very heavy, so not easy to go through and check. But after all, the store pulled the order. That item is now discontinued, so I was very worried about how we could finish this room. They located 5 boxes of it at another store about an hour away, but this was way too big for my car. Craig, one of the salespeople, called me and told me he would deliver it TO MY HOUSE within 2 hours!!!! My contractor is installing it now. Thank you so much Craig, Sarah and FLOOR & DECOR! This was my first visit to Floor & Decor. My daughter and I wanted to get some kitchen ideas for her home. I must say, I was very impressed by the wide selection of products they have to choose from. It's a very large place with so many selections of tiles for your floors, counter tops, and backsplashes in just about any material and price range you're looking for. As well as hardwood flooring in every shade you can think of. As we walked through the place, at least 4 people asked if we needed any help. I thought that was impressive because it's so hard to find good customer service now adays. When we finally decided we wanted help, we were lucky enough to get Sandon. He was the nicest guy! As he talked, we found out that he was a retired contractor and has been in the business for quite a few years. He helped match up some flooring and counter tops for us with the prices from our measurements. He also gave us valuable advice about different materials to use. We weren't ready to buy just yet, but I would definitely go back to Floor and Decor when we are. They also have free designers that can help you. You need to make an appointment for this. You can also buy a tile or two if you want to take it home to see it in your space and return it for a full refund. I must say i loved the selection and the friendly customer service and would definitely go back when we are ready to buy! read more

I went here last Saturday. Parking: lot Store: very big and bright The selections were great!!! There are so many different sizes of tile, and the designs were very nice! They sell sinks, shower benches, and shower stalls. I found some tile and the price was great! They have a price guarantee. I wish I had known about them before I purchased tile from Lowe's. I'm sure I would have saved big time!! The only downside was that I could not find anyone on the floor to assist. I only saw stock guys and a cleaning guy. There were piles of trash in a few places that weren't safe. I will be back! I have two bathrooms to do. read more

We used this place for our first bathroom remodel and had a great experience. Evidently a lot has changed in two years. Our first visit with a designer wasn't the greatest as she seemed distracted and kept forgetting things. Then, after scheduling another appointment and driving 30 minutes we find out that the designer called out sick and the store didn't even bother to let us know. Terrible return policy. I paid $800 cash for tiles and then returned the next day to cancel the order but they said they can only issue me a refund in a corporate check. Which will take up to 7 business days to receive. Ridiculous. I paid in cash and should receive the refund in cash. Instead my money is tied up for another week. A visit to the Tile Shop in K of P yesterday left me uninspired and disappointed. Although they did have some lovely displays, the lighting was low and after browsing for 20 minutes, no sales associate had approached me or asked to help. Frustrated, I decided to leave and drive to FLOOR & DECOR IN Devon, PA. At F&D the energy level was high, the lighting was bright, the prices were low, the shelves were well stocked with new inventory in many aisles, and lots of happy shoppers (except in the 2 long lines at check-out). Now to the best part... Sharron was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and focused as she assisted multiple customers. Although there were over a dozen employees helping others, I was glad she was assisting me! Please keep employees like Sharron around. She really appeared to be enjoying her job! How nice! I recently looked on Floor & Decor website for a 18 x 36 triangle shower bench. The website said they had a Maravilla English Ivory Triangle Shower Bench , sku 100892538 Size 18 x 36. With 4 instock. I went to store and bought the item. When I got home and looked on box it was 35.7" x 25.25 W. I then noticed that the manufacturer on the box (Avillano) was different then the one on the website. I then went online and reordered the 18 x 36 Maravilla Bench for pick up at store. The next day I went to pick up the bench. The store clerk brought out the same one I got the previous day - Avillano 35.7 x 25.25 bench. After checking the website again we noticed that the SKU for both items was the same and the website clearly stated 18 x 36 . I went in the store to return the bench and to let the manager know about the misleading information on the website. The manager didn't really seem to care about my frustration about having to waste my time and gas driving to the store twice for the same item. I did keep one of the benches with the hope that the contractor can cut it to size. However, I feel I should have gotten some compensation for my time ,, and frustration. I went here to get supplies for redoing my bathroom. EMILY the design coordinator was amazing. She gets a feel for your style and addresses it as best she can. She is patient and caring even though she is totally overwhelmed. She helped me pick out everything I needed. Floor, walls, accessories, colors etc. I was very pleased with her taste and support. Her assistant Andrew was a big help to her and me in locating items and confirming the choices. Tiara the manager was very receptive to assisting me as well in the beginning before Emily could get to my turn. I would definitely use them again. I wanted to checkout for kitchen wall decor aka back splash. One of my friend recommended this place and stopped today to check it out. This place is huge and for wall Record and floors. No one was there to Assist, so checked with one of the associates and he explained the process, that you go around select what you like and small quantities load to cart and checkout and same case with samples also. We are renovating our entire home and needed to pick tile for all the bathrooms and laundry room. The staff at this place is outstanding. Their designer Andrew Johnson has been immensely helpful! He has always made himself available and given me the right direction based on my theme/colors. The rest of the staff including Brian and others have always been super helpful - they worked with me on clearance items, delivery from other stores, design ideas, tile selection. Made the mistake of not coming here first. Simply because it was further away. Being Lazy I decided to go up to Montgomeryville's "The Tile Shop" which is 7 miles closer for me. They have everything here including the vast selection of Tiling Caulk which is $4 higher at "The Tile Shop" and $3 higher at Home Depot. They dont have any slimy shady salesmen following you around trying to talk you into buying. I'll be coming here when I start my other bathroom. read more

My contractor had to drive 1-1/2hr to finally pick the order up. Then had to wait almost 2hrs to get the order loaded. Very disappointed with Devon floor and decor. I came in to pick up 5 boxes of tile in a standard 3x6 subway. A style they consistently carry. When I asked the first employee to help me find additional tile he told me they had none left and to go to the pro desk. The pro desk then told me I could place a stock order as they did in fact have many more and should do so at the register. After paying I was sent back to the pro area, but no one was working the desk. I found another employee on the floor they said someone would be with me shortly. Eventually someone comes to the desk after waiting about 15 minutes, Looks at my order and states it'll be at least another 25 minutes to get the 5 boxes of tile. My trip to the store which should have been an easy purchase lasted over and hour, with multiple different employees giving me completely different information. read more

I literally thought I was being punked the service was so bad. I would give this zero stars if I could. I received a partial wrong order after purchasing in store and having the associates load directly into my vehicle. Once I realized a few of the boxes of tile were glossy instead of matte I drove 1.5 hours back to this location and explained the situation. The first associate couldn't locate my order after asking me me for the order number and then my last name so she sent me to the demand desk in the back of the store. One of the managers found my order and I told them I'd like a concession if possible. He said to give him a minute. A different associate comes out, hears the situation and takes the wrong tile to the back and returns with the correct tile. He notices I'm still standing there and asks me if he can help with anything else. I'm like yes I just told the manager I'd like a concession if possible. He speaks to the manager and returns with a message to offer 50% off only the boxes which were wrong ($13 concession) which is laughable. I agree to it and am walked over to the returns register where the associate explains the situation to the original associate I spoke to. She asks me for my phone number and pulls up my order immediately. I had to point out that I JUST spoke to her and was rerouted to a different counter because she couldn't find my order 10 minutes ago so how is she finding it now. Just ridiculous. Then the 2 associates spoke among each other for 3 minutes trying to figure out what half of $5.21 is and they decided the answer was $2.21!!!! I was floored! I explained to them how the math worked and walked off disgusted with a $13 concession due to a pick error to make a 1.5 hour drive home. Will not be returning to this location read more

This is the best place to find what you need in tile, flooring and anything else you need to help with your project! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. We had to go back as I did not get enough tile the first time and they had us wait in the front, ran over and got the tile and had everything in their computer tallied up waiting for us. There is a wide range of in-stock tile, flooring, trim moldings, and the tools you need if it's a DYI project. The salespeople there are quite helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us to load a cart with our 200 sq ft of tile and unload the boxes Into our car without us having to ask. I would definitely recommend this location and would shop here again. It was a real lifesaver when our contractor had a cancellation and told us have everything in 6 days if we wanted him to squeeze us in. read more

Any flooring is rarely behind the "show piece" and god forbid you need someone to operate a fork lift or even find which aisle it's in, which half the time ends up being multiple aisles away. Asked someone to cut open a crate and they just walked away and I had to use my own keys. Also forget about any personable cashiers. Awful place to shop unless you just are looking to walk around and stare at the pretty possibilities of what your flooring could be and not actually make a real purchase. read more

He was very nice, professional, and offered to set me up with the Manager of the Design department for an appt to win back my business I made an appt for today at 9 am. My contractor actually met me at the store as well; we were ready to make selections and place an order. Well guess who didn't show up??? Yup, no show again. Blake explained the guy had an emergency. Wow, they sure have a lot of emergencies at this place. My contractor and I went to the Tile Shop in KOP and placed our order there. What a difference in selection and service with very comparable pricing. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business and I'm not sure my contractor will ever recommend them to his customers again. read more

Absolutely horrible experience!!! Will never shop at this location. The staff are rude and take forever to do nothing. I waited 30 minutes in my car for a tile order to be told by one staff member " you can go pull the tile off the shelves for yourself!" I went back into the store for a woman to tell me they didn't have the tile I had ordered online and paid for. I showed her my email confirmation and she said there's nothing I can do. I asked to speak to a manager she told me to "go up front, I don't know what I can do!" I waited and waited for the mystery manager to come, they never did. I went to Floor and Decor 'just to look', as I had been to Home Depot for ideas on a master bath renovation. Well, this place is awesome. First the service. Actual qualified personnel asking if assistance was needed and giving very knowledgeable answers. A breath of fresh air. Worked with Jose in stone and was able to purchase beautiful tile for shower walls, shower floor and everything needed. Second, the prices! Very reasonable on all items and I have been pricing for over a month. Third, selection. If I needed 15 boxes of a tile, voila, it was there! Not like HD which was telling me we have 4 but you can't get 5 at Downingtown, etc. I will NEVER go to Home Depot again for any flooring needs. I highly recommend Floor and Decor. Awful customer service. I liked the flooring option but after being charged nearly $3k for the order we discover that they don't have the product in stock so the order was redirected to St Louis and we paid almost $400 for delivery. After waiting the appropriate time to receive our order, we now are told it will be 14 days to get the product to the local store before it can be delivered. We have contractors on hold and this retailer cannot or will not give me a ETA for delivery. We have twice been told that they would call us back and twice they failed to call. read more

This store is terrible! The manager is ridiculous. They ordered the wrong amount of flooring, refused to fix that issue, and then planks arrived damaged. They sent me a form to file a warranty claim. To dissuade people from complaining, they require the customer, who has been wronged, to pay $150-200 for an independent floor inspector. The warranty is a joke. Customer service department couldn't care less. Do not shop there. My contractor had several issues with them as well and warned me not to purchase my floor there. Wish I had listened. Bottom line- Save your time and money and shop somewhere that respects its customers and takes accountability. I've yet to come across a more indifferent organization. This is going to be a very long review. Please bare with me. I went to Floor & Decor after exhausting the local big box hardware stores. I drove from the beaches in Delaware all the way to Devon, PA to shop at this store based upon the selection online. I designed three bathrooms and a kitchen with the designer Olivia. Olivia told me she would pull the lighter shade of tile from the stoval floor tile for my kitchen. I offered to help her and she told me not to bother and she would have my order ready when I came back to pick it up. She even pointed out the darker shade of tile flooring that was bundled together to prove someone else had probably done the same thing. I was elated when I left the store. I posted pictures on my facebook page, I shared all over the local renovating Facebook pages, I told EVERYONE I knew in the Delaware area to make the trip to buy flooring! I couldn't wait to start the renovation! Fast forward to Saturday when my husband, two toddlers and I made the long trip to pick up the remainder of our order. I insisted on checking the tile before they loaded it because I wanted to make sure Olivia delivered on her promise. Much to my dismay, she did not. The young gentleman assisting me told me it was going to be hard to separate. He pulled over the operation manager, Blake, who was quite possibly the rudest manager I have ever encountered. Blake basically rolled his eyes, said we could sort the tile but couldn't do it in the warehouse, that Olivia never should have offered it and that they were undermanned and he couldn't deal with it right now. Wonderful. Two young gentleman helped me sort an entire skid of the stoval tile. We came up with 35 tiles out of a whole skid that would work in my kitchen. At that point, my hands were bleeding, I was more upset and I decided to try to find another tile that would work. Collin listened to the situation but didn't offer any assistance. I didn't even know he was the store manager until I overheard someone later. As I was walking looking at tile, Jose, came up to greet me. Y'all, Jose and the gentlemen that helped me sort are the only reasons why I am giving this place a Two star review. Jose listened to my frustration, he helped me pick a new tile for my kitchen, he went above and beyond to help me. He explained why Olivia would never have been able to deliver on that promise of separating the tile. Jose and the gentlemen that assisted me have my deepest gratitude. Olivia did a great job helping me decide on tile for my extensive renovation but I am dismayed that she promised something she didn't follow through on. read more

Would have rated it higher except the E-commerce site is disappointing and staff does not handle phone calls in a professional manner. This store has an excellent selection, but given demands during Covid, supplies are often sold out quickly. That is not the store's fault, but a sign of the times. Staff is helpful, but if you need serious design help either see one of the designers at the front, come at a non- busy time or get your own designer. People who need handholding ought to hire their own designer before they come in. If you are browsing, either expect to be doing the work yourself or have help from a designer or installer. A lot of the complaints about the store seem to reflect a customer need for handholding without a true understanding that this store is essentially the Home Depot of tile and floor stores. It's a big box with lots of inventory, and if you know what you are looking for it is a great resource. If you expect swanky service, go hire your own designer and and let them do the heavy lifting for you. The above notwithstanding, there e-commerce site is substandard, and inventories listed on the site do not necessarily reflect what is in the store. That does not make them unique however, as many retailers have this problem. Some of these reviews are unfair and do not reflect the reviewers' understanding of what the store is about. Again, if you want swanky service this is the wrong store. So my complaint after many phone calls and Visits to the store: Staff are helpful, but if you call they are only helpful if they answer the phone. On one call to this store I was on hold for a very long time and a person from the hardwood floors department finally answered and worked really hard to help me when I had a question about ceramic tile, which was not his department. While I greatly appreciated his effort to solve my problem, a better process for handling customer calls when first received would be greatly appreciated. My one serious complaint about this store (Other than the E-commerce site being substandard) is that phone calls are not answered promptly, and if a call is actually answered the caller is placed on hold for a very long time, which is extremely frustrating. My experience is not one call, as this is happened numerous times. Obviously an area for improvement for management."Hello floor and decor can I place you on hold" is not sufficient. Someone needs to actually talk to the customer when they call... or if they are placed on hold someone needs to monitor that fact and make sure that the customer is not stuck waiting for a very long period of time for someone to actually release them from hold and talk to them. read more

My husband and I just visited Floor and Decor in King of Prussia for the first time. We needed to find a hardwood engineered floor that was more durable than the cherry we have downstairs but similar coloring. We found it in a matter of minutes! I had asked a person who works there if he could get me someone as we had a few questions. 10 minutes had passed. I saw another employee that appeared to maybe be putting out stock and asked him if he could please get us a associate that could answer our questions. He immediately went into a back room to look for someone for us and also paged someone to come back to us. Meanwhile he said let's see if maybe I could help you. This employees name was Trey he works as a command associate. Trey was extremely helpful to us!! He wasn't fully knowledgeable about the wood question I had but he was very honest about that which I totally understood it wasn't his area of expertise However he answered every question we had. Brings our car couldn't fit the amount of boxes we need Trey explained you don't need to worry about that we will hold it for you for 14 days free of charge. The other question was about a installer and Trey said Home and Decor doesn't have a installation staff but up at the register they will give you a brochure that has a number you can call to get a local installer. Trey checked the stock for us and scanned the number, he then went up front to the register with us as we placed our order. Thanks to Trey we had a wonderful first experience at Home and Decor!! We were in and out of the store in about 45 minutes! Matt had just finished working with a customer and was on his way to help us when we had were already to go place our order. I must mention Matt was great in answering our questions about the type of wood we selected he seemed very knowledgeable with the scale of hardness of the various woods. Matt also informed us of the underlayment we needed to get and the other parts needed to finish off the floor So when Matt rang us out we had everything we needed other than the installer (which he did give me the brochure of where to call)!! Great experience all the way around!! We will definitely be a repeat customer if other needs arise!! I think Trey should be promoted or however Floor and Decor moves their staff into other departments! He was so courteous and helpful and being a former general manager of a large furniture store I can say Trey is definite asset to Floor and Decor!! read more
