This store is located in Downingtown in a busy shopping complex between Bj's and Wegmans. They have a shared parking lot. As you enter the store, they have lot of shopping carts to grab, and you will be amazed with the way the store is organized. The collection is just stunning with the seasonal items, rugs, home goods. Towards another end you can see international food items which is of great quality and quantity and variety. Overall, its a great store with lot of international items worth buying.

Being a part of a store who offers "True" customer service where a staff goes out of their way to make the customer feel valued, appreciated and special is exciting and rare. On left hand side the seasonal art and craft supplies were amazing starting from Halloween, Thanksgiving and the huge collection of Christmas items Then it leads to the back of the store where you can find greeting cards, Stationeries and school projects and towards right back end you can see the portraits section. FDC and I were in the area so we decided to check out the new digs. The shopping center it's located in is large and has ample free lot parking. The space is bright and open. What we noticed was a change - in the old location there were rows and rows of shelves, with dishes organized by pattern or color. If you were hoping to find a replacement for a broken plate in your pattern, or to add to your set, you could easily do that and chances were, they'd have your pattern even if it was passed down from your great grandmother, who brought it with her to the New World. In the new space there was thoughtful merchandising of items, displayed in settings with style groupings but not necessarily patterns. Saw some patterns scattered in different places, like Kings Crown Ruby Stained goblets. I get it, they compliment lots of styles. Finding 5 of them may involve hunting. The store is lovely and well displayed. We found inspiration and were charmed. It's still a great store, it's more though general shop for amazing dishes and such and less looking for an item in a pattern. In its former format, Dishfunctional filled a need no one else had. Now it's just shopping for cool stuff. We'll still visit, my dish loving heart weeps though for what was lost when some real estate developer decided what West Chester really needed was more "luxury condos" on a semi-industrial area. One other thing - they still have a robust eBay presence so if you are looking for a specific pattern or style, check there. Also Alfred has an encyclopedic knowledge, so ask him about what you are looking for - or if you want to know more about a gorgeous bowl- if he's there.

(It is currently stuck in the down position. Not good during football season!) I Contacted Touchstone. Their customer service was very responsive. They emailed instructions to "reset" the controller. In doing so, it gave an error code apparently indicating the motor was bad. They shipped a new motor and control box on the same day. I've not yet received but UPS indicates delivery in 2 days. -Customer service and responsiveness....5 Stars! -Product rating????..... I've no idea how to rate the product at this point. It worked flawlessly when easily installed. Loved it!....5 stars! -Failing to work after 10 weeks (0 Stars!) Now having to remove and replace the motor myself, it definitely is a hassle. I'm hoping it was a "one off" situation and not an indication of the actual quality of the lift. Breaking after such a short period of time is definitely a concern. I will update this review in future. ******************** It's now 6 weeks later. Turns out it was not to difficult to switch out the motor. The instruction was easily understood. Took all of 45 minutes. Has worked perfectly thus far.

Contacted the company and sent pictures and best I got, If I packed it back up ( It came on a pallet ) and hauled it to ups, they would accept and refund me. Or I could have a new one sent, still having to package the one and send back, only option, espresso... or a whopping $250 credit back and I get to now paint over the stain that was put on the cabinet. VERY disappointing the options and customer service was a joke. Would not recommend at all!

We've bought seedlings of all sorts here, and never had a problem transplanting them in the garden. And the houseplants I've gotten recently were healthy and pest-free. My new purple clematis is also doing really well! If you're looking for perennials, most of them are outside on the display tables. Indoors, you'll find more annuals and houseplants that need a bit more controlled humidity and warmth. There are tree saplings out back and more greenhouses to check out. There's even a small furniture shop upstairs. The shop inside is full of quirky products, and as always, super fun to browse or pick out seed packets to try germinating at home. Staff are really friendly and know their stuff. If you're having trouble finding something, they can point you in the right direction or place an order for something that's not in stock. That's how we got our shishito pepper plants this year! Very excited to see how they turn out.
