Drinks seem to be the focus and great if your taste in drinks isn't all that sophisticated. Menu is broad with a lot of choices but nothing really tastes great...just okay. Chicken Karaage was tempura chicken with a sweet glaze served with a side sauce. Flavor just seemed diluted. Tried the Spicy Bangkok Chicken Bowl and it was basically the Chicken Karaage on rice with a little heat served with the exact same sauce. We also order the Double Smash Burger but it too just tasted a bit bland and the texture was firm. Burger did not come with fries - we had to add crispy potato's (they don't have fries) after the burger was served. They were served with the same sauce as the the chicken dishes. So the food wasn't much to draw us back in again. The atmosphere was nice. Modern look and plenty of space with a comfy vibe. Lots a people and it was pretty loud but we felt comfortable. Like I said, it feels like a great place to just have some drinks with some friends and maybe get something to eat, but not a great place if you really want something good to eat. We don't regret coming here and had a good time even though the food was mid. Service was good and we like the vibe, but there are so many other places in Dallas that would are worth trying or revisiting before we would come back.

We arrived at 2pm and they didn't have the server staff going to full power, but we so enjoyed the art deco environment, food, drinks and staff service overall. Just had to wait a bit here and there for a server to return when we were ready for more drink orders from the bar. All bartenders and servers were very skilled and customer service oriented, Even Coast probably needed one server more or something as it got full by 3 as the hostess had told me. Love the art deco mermaid pins the female staff wore, plus other unique thought out accoutrements. We like to share plates and loved everything we had! The oysters, burrata, smoked clam chowder, yellowtail curd, smoked salmon dip with homemade potato chips, and the fried cod, frites and Cole slaw. Some of us had cocktails- all great, then we all switched to wine, then finished with espresso martini and amazing dessert. Everything was expertly hand crafted (cocktails), and the food expertly prepared so our high praise and compliments to the Chef, Sous, Cooks, Servers, Hostess and Restaurant Manager, who did stop by and check on us. Thanks for a great experience! We'll return!

So disappointed they dropped the fried green tomatoes from the menu. Prices are reasonable, especially for spirits and beer. We started with the chicken fried quail tenders, which had a fantastic dipping sauce with them. For entrées, we had the New York strip chicken fried steak and the steak frites. I wasn't crazy about the chicken fried steak as it was a ton of batter and a very thin, thin piece of steak inside. I don't think I would order it again. The mashed potatoes and green beans and jalapeño gravy were very good though. My friend enjoyed the steak frites.

The day I visited it was calm and quiet. Service was good no complaints. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. Food was pretty good. I would probably order wings and pizza next time. Seems better for bar type food. However, I had to try the lobster garlic noodles my friend recommended and raved about. These noodles definitely have potential. I love the strong garlic flavor. I appreciated the big chunks of lobster. The mushrooms were a perfect addition. I just wished for another flavor with the garlic. Like some sweet chili sauce for a little bit of sweetness and spice would be a game changer. I will say the next day when I heated up my leftovers the flavor was even better. I still think it could use a little heat and splash of sweetness. The presentation was good and the food looked appetizing. The dessert wasn't bad decent for a sports bar. I enjoyed the presentation. The ice cream was delicious and the cake was ok. The pink dragon was tasty and once again I liked the presentation. It was a good cocktail choice on the menu. Overall for my first visit it was a good experience. I would give it a 3.5 for the experience. I wish Yelp had half stars. I will visit again soon to see as my feelings are mixed.
