We only had to wait about five minutes for seating and our waitress was very nice even though she was busy. They gave us a booth! My favorite I got a bacon omelette, side of toast and a short stack of the Dulce de leche pancakes. We also got the hungry man with a side of pancakes. This place is always packed! And it makes sense as to why. The food and service are great. The food is good Ihop food. Same menu, and specials, but done right. The service really separated it from the rest. The Host Julio is one hard worker. He was greeting the guests, taking their names down, seating them, running orders to help the staff, working the phone. AND in his spare time wrapping the utensils. Now when I say spare time, there was none. At one point he was checking on orders while wrapping utensils, as he was checking for tables. Seriously hard worker. Our server margaret. Today was a friend and family setting. My friend and her family. Her son loves free refills so he suggests we go here. I do find it a bit expensive than other restaurants but hey, they are treating so who's complaining? She did!! I the service was sticky business and if you read the expression on peoples faces you would tell that the someone was pretty annoyed by the request of refill. We had a family dinner on a Saturday night because of the promotion for a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal. For the adult entrees, we ordered the blueberry and lemon crepes and the fisherman's platter. Both hit the spot. I took my leftovers home. For the kids' entree, we ordered of their new meals: French toast sticks with strawberry and banana. The toddler only ate the fruit and took the French toast sticks for breakfast the next morning. New comments: 1) Had 2+2+2 combo bkfst...one with sausage (tiniest links) and one with bacon. * pancakes arrived under cooked. pancake split open in center and showcased the under cooked dough. When we tasted pancake it was a very soft consistency and dissolved in your mouth like mush. Requested replacement pancakes and they were no better...had to be the pancake mix they concocted. 2) What happened to the pourers with different flavor syrups?? Had to request blueberry and strawberry and was surprised when they arrived in tiny plastic containers like used for takeout...They tasted watered down! Decided to come to ihop with my son because I was craving pancakes. Glad we did. Stanley was our server and he was pretty friendly. Amazing!!!! The New Owners have this place running on point! So glad to see new owners who care, taking care of this local establishment! We had stopped going because the old owners, who were very nice all the time, seem to just give up. But this place has a new future & it looks very bright.. The Food was plated beautifully & it was plentiful. We had 2 Sampler's, French toast & Mozzarella Sticks, & they all were wonderful. Everything was hot, & tasted great. The cooks here are certainly putting the time in, great job! The service was wonderful, we had Jocelyn. She was kind helpful & very courteous. Always smiling & & answering every one of our questions. She's a true gem that understands what customer service & satisfaction is all about. A true asset to the new face of the business.. As for the ambiance, they could use a little more brightness in their decor, but now opening 24 hours is a wonderful idea. I look forward to going there to enjoy a wonderful meal late night. We have been ordering take our from here from the Ihoppy hour which is a great deal because entrees start at $6. Ihoppy hour starts at 3 pm at select locations. They have a decent selection of entrees as part do the deal some of which include a burger and fries, pancakes and chicken strip, an omelette or chicken sandwich and fries etc. Everything we tried was pretty good and the portion were decent. The downside to all of this is that recently we tried placing our regular Ihoppy order online only to find out the Ihoppy Hour is now only available for dine in only. We were very disappointed with this because we honestly do not have the time for dine and prefer to take it home. I really wish they would go back to allowing it for take out as well. :-( read more

We randomly decided to make an IHOP visit on a Friday afternoon at around 3:30. To our pleasant surprise they have and IHOPPY hour menu with great meal deals for $6. We ordered the following: -The eggs, bacon and homefries platter -the burger with fries, you can get this with a side of pancakes if you prefer - kids funny face meal Everything was really good and very fresh. This is such a great deal. Also, to our surprise on Wednesday and Friday's kids eat free. The meal ended up being mora tan reasonable. This is actually one of the better IHOP locations. I've been to quite a few in Nassau and NYC. They take the cake well... pancakes overall. My daughter loves IHOP, so ! For MLK we had a early breakfast. They have the 2X2X2 $4.99 Deal here so I took advantage on a Monday off! She got 2 pancakes, bacon strips & eggs. Topped it off with a Hot Cocoa. I had the Avocado wheat toast with fried eggs platter. For $9.99 it came with a small fruit bowl we both shared. Service was quick and the staff was amazing. They work the crowds very quickly and efficiently. I deducted a star for the baby parking lot and terrible coffee for $2.99. The coffee needs work here. Not sure what brew they're using. We have been a regular at this IHOP for over 10 years. We have also tried the IHOPs in Westbury and in Hicksville but always seem to come back to this location. Tonight I had the cowboy burger and my partner had split decision. I ordered an additional salad and they asked for thousand island dressing, them waitress said we don't have thousand Island dressing due to the pandemic I asked for ketchup and mayonnaise to make my own thousand island dressing, she's getting offered me a house dressing which was very similar to 1000 island dressing. It was fine in fact it was even better than thousand island dressing I would recommend that dressing going forward. The server didn't ask how it one of the hamburger cooked which obviously tells you it's going to be well done my partner asked for soft bacon, it was so well done the crumbled on the plate still a lot to my hamburger which helped. The coffee was fresh we also asked for milk which they didn't have they only had skim milk we dealt with it. I was probably eligible for the senior coffee discount but didn't bother asking. The only thing I felt was unusual was the high price, the hamburger split decision extra salad two coffees ran $46. March 12, 2019, 7 am to 7 pm- It was IHOP free pancake day and my hubby and I did not pass the opportunity to enjoy the last hour with the rest of other pancake lovers. As we were getting three stack of pancake for free, we made our pancake tipped with the special syrup. It was not disappointing. We matched it with their famous breakfast sausage. It was worth each bite. We enjoyed their cold drinks as well. What's more enjoyable was the pancake dinner costed us less than $20. Who could beat that? The place looks small outside but as you stepped in, it has plenty of room. Service was good in-spite being busy that last hour of the night. This was my first time at IHOP trying out their savory dishes. I was in the mood for fish and chips so I ordered the fisherman's platter which cane with fish and chips and shrimp with a side of tartar sauce. It was delicious! My friends ordered the French toast with banana foster which was AMAZING! We had another order of steak omelette and fried steak both which I didn't try but my friends said they were tasty! As for drinks, most of us stuck with regular coffee but one of us got the mint hot chocolate (the Grinch special) which was way too sweet to drink. I ordered through Uber eats and the delivery was quick and efficient. I decided to try the gluten free pancakes. They honestly tasted just like regular pancakes which was great. Before COVID, I would usually order Harvest Grain Pancakes with sugar-free maple syrup. The pancakes were whole wheat with pulverized walnuts or pecans. They served it with a small ball of butter and a short stack was generally sufficient with their pot of decent regular coffee. Today was our first return to iHop since COVID started and they have a new menu hat does not include Harvest grain pancakes or sugar-free maple syrup. After overcoming my disappointment, I ordered an omelette with onions, peppers and mushrooms, which was delicious and seemingly used four scrambled eggs. They placed us in the right back end of the IHOP. Parking was horrible; we managed to find parking across the street since the lot was jam packed. Our waitress was pleasant. The food was OK. I got the french toast combo; bananas foster brioche french toast, scrambled eggs, sausage and hash browns. The french toast was good, eggs were a little soggy for my liking, sausage good and hash browns ehh. The top had the crunch you want for hash browns however underneath the top layer tasted like uncooked potatoes. For drink I got the iced coffee, regular, which was good with free refills. The waitress seemed busy with many tables which left us waiting for a while to find her and ask for the check. Overall, what you'd expect from a chain restaurant.
