I had not been into an IHOP in years. I saw an ad for a $7.00 breakfast value menu special. You can find the 4 specials at the bottom of the menu page on their website. On the physical menu you will find the specials buried in the dinner section and not on the breakfast pages. Most visitors would never know the value menu existed. I went in and ordered the ham and cheese omelet. Cheesy, rich and very filling. I was going to leave a 5 star review for that visit. However... ...I went back a couple of weeks later and ordered the House Scramble with bacon. My original vision was to smother it with breakfast gravy. To me breakfast gravy is thick and has sausage in it. When the food arrived the gravy was thin and was in no way a typical breakfast gravy. It was more like a dinner gravy you would expect on mashed potatoes. It sucked and the flavor was horrible. I had already poured it over my eggs and the hash browns. It ruined the breakfast. I asked the server about the gravy and it was explained to me they only serve vegan gravy. LOL. Secondly, the bacon was half raw, mostly with the fat on the ends. Raw bacon is a crime and you can get very sick from it. This second visit was a 1 star, if that experience. read more

Went in this morning with my mother and toddler, the food tasted okay however within 15 minutes of leaving my mother was throwing up on herself and had diarrhea in her pants before we even made it home. Both myself and my toddler are now sick, this is the only food we had today. I called the restaurant to let them know and was told we were the only ones who had called and complained of illness, which is by far the most cop out answer I've heard we weren't calling for a refund we were calling because this is the only place we could've gotten sick. If it was just my mom I might say it's just a fluke and she's sick but it being myself and my Toddler who all tried each others food it's obviously not. Our server was wonderful And it is by no means her fault but something was cooked wrong or there is some sort of bacteria. I ordered online for curbside pick up, as I had two sick kids and didn't want to take them inside, got a link asking me to let them know I'm on my way and then to let them know I'm here, asked for the color of my car.. well we waited about 10 minutes past the time we were supposed to pick up, finally went in and was told we don't do curbside, I don't know why that link is still there.. OK SUPER ANNOYING, but.. get out food all three meals are missing the sides, I ask for the sides, another 10 minutes, finally get the sides but no silverware, I ask for silverware, staff is now getting annoyed with me, but hey, it's what I paid for.. so by the time I get back to my hotel, foods cold and ewww.. would not reccomend this ihop.. and if you do go there, don't count on curbside.. read more

My son and I visited the N Division location Sunday 4/16/23 at 5pm. i frequent this establishment almost every Saturday. We watched a waitress having troubles finding a person's gift card, and it was found in the garbage can that had been gone through by this waitress. The customer left and that waitress went to where one of her orders were up, and she grabbed the food and delivered it without even washing her hands first. We told our waitress who was seating us and her comment was that she would be dealing with our order, and not the girl who went through the garbage. We chose to get up and leave with this uncleanliness of the restaurant. We have attempted to reach management and he isn't there and won't be there until Wednesday. I work a lot and have not spent much time with my family for the holidays. I wanted a special meal with them. We were sat quickly and the server was on top of getting our drinks and food order. We were sat close enough to the food window that we were able to witness how the kitchen staff treated the server. She asked the kitchen staff where her food was, the man in the kitchen immediately responded in a degrading nature and a rude aggressive tone to the server then told her to clock out and go home. This was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen. I felt like taking my family and leaving due to being so uncomfortable and upset for the server. I do not think anyone should be treated this way, especially in public for everyone to see and hear. Update: come to find out the kitchen manager, and the server are husband and wife. After I wrote this post things got worse and the wife pursued to talk crap at the table right behind us. The husband continued to yell at her from the kitchen. I have Trauma from my own past experience with aggression and felt to be in the middle of a domestic dispute. I was sick to my stomach, anxious and upset by the time I got my food. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. I will never go back. It ruined my meal and my entire day. I don't get another day off for the next month. We ordered take out from here today and we were extremely happy with the quality, quantity, and friendly service!!! We ordered the Breakfast Family Feast with Waffles and The Breakfast Family Feast with French toast. There were plenty of food, condiments, and utensils/napkins!! We love the cheesy scrambled eggs, the French toast was on point and I think the sausage was some of the best we've eaten in town!! The hashbrowns were cooked to perfection and the bacon was not overly crispy!! This is probably the best Breakfast we have had since March!! We definitely will be ordering from here again!! When we showed up no one seemed to know what was going on. The manager said "what is going on over here" and everyone stood there looking around with confusion on their faces. I don't like that the table in the middle of the restaurant are set 2 4 tops together. Like we should be asked if we mind sitting with another family or wait for our own booth. Took 40 minutes to get our breakfast (which were the smallest portions ever) and in that time no one came by to refill our small coffee carafe that had been empty for 20 minutes since all of us were drinking coffee. When food came it was luke warm. Never saw the waitress again until we stopped her for our check (still no more coffee). Super sad, ihop use to be one of my families favorites. I Hop was and sometimes still is if I want a decent breakfast that doesn't cost and arm and a leg. My granddaughters both love going to I Hop because they are a family oriented restaurant . We get senior discounts and my husband gets a Veterans's discount. Living close to the Marine Base for many years it was packed because they welcomed them. So this is day one of phase 2 and I went with my son to the IHOP on North Division. Pretty much everyone knows about the bill of fare so I won't dwell on: they always have fluffy pancakes and do a decent job with eggs and omelettes. But they are dealing with all of the requirements of social distancing while providing table service. And I have to say I am impressed with the efforts they have made but I'm more impressed with the good nature of all the staff. Learning a whole new routine for serving meals is a challenge. The staff was up to the task. In spite of the disruption in routine, there were smiles and friendly greetings and attention to all our needs. Because I am one of those people who fits in the at risk category I wore my mask in to the restaurant while I was in the waiting area and again as I left the restaurant going past people who were waiting. We love having our breakfast here .. a bit late in the morning though, around half past 9 .. it is like brunch to be honest, you don't need anything else till dinner. :) Still sold on the omelettes with veggies in it .. the spinach and mushroom is the favourite and the garden one is close second .. :) But this review update is not about the food, they are trained to make the order the same way and it tastes the same as well .. if you like it, in all probability you would like it the next time and the next .. Waited 1 hour for seating, ended up taking myself off the waitlist and just ordering online to go. The website stated it'll take 20 minutes. It took another whole hour. Went inside to check on the food & the lady at the desk turned around and glanced at the 15+ to go orders and said "I don't think it's ready yet". Another 10 minutes of sitting in the car waiting, and I called 7 times in a row with nobody answering. Finally the 8th time, I was able to talk with someone who stated the food was finally ready. I understand it's Valentine's Day and it was extremely busy but 2+ hours was wasted just waiting for breakfast. It's now lunchtime at this point. Worst customer service I've had in a WHILE. As a child of the 50's my family would go to iHop after church. It was a fun time and iHop created fond memories. Over the years iHop changed but my family would go and enjoy the food. In Spokane on Division Street is an original looking iHop. I stopped to eat there. The food was good but I noticed the portions got smaller which is fine. The waitress was extremely nice, friendly and attentive. I was a bit bummed out when I was told they no longer had the Harvest grain pancakes but was in time for their delicious pumpkin pancakes. I was happy they still had their delicious pecan syrup which the combination of pumpkin and pecan you can't beat. I enjoyed reminiscing the fond memories and making new memories.
