When we contacted the restaurant, they refused to issue a refund because we were unable to bring the contaminated food back in, even though we provided clear photo evidence. Apparently, their policy is that you must physically return food that is unsafe to eat, which is absurd. Once you discover hair/trash in your seafood, your first thought is to throw it out, not to get back in your car and drive 15+ minutes for a refund. The complete lack of accountability was about as gross as the food itself. No apology, no attempt to make it right, just a flat refusal and dismissal of a legitimate health concern. If you care even a little about cleanliness, food safety, or customer service, stay far away from Yummy Crab. There are plenty of better restaurants in coeur d'alene that won't serve you contamination, and then blame you for it.

Poke bowls are my go-to for a protein packed meal that's healthy and leaves me feeling full. Now the crab cakes!? If you've never tried them from here and you're a crab cake lover, then do yourself a favor and order some. They were perfectly cooked with a crisp outside and stuffed with a good amount of tasty fresh crab. The 2 sauces of my choice to go with the cakes are: traditional tarter sauce and then take your lemon slice and squeeze the juice on top and mix it in and the Cajun tarter sauce--it has great flavor with a little bit of spice. My pics don't do justice--the flavor is where it's at! My roommate got his favorite Shrimp Po Boy Sandwich with fries and he was a happy camper. I will say, their fries are authentic and actually taste like real potato. We arrived at lunch hour and the ambiance was definitely busy, which is normal. Service was great and food came out fairly quick. Every employee I saw stayed busy, either helping people, cleaning, or chef'ing it up.

I felt as if our server should have told us immediately that this was a shared option, but even then to make every person pay $57 is nuts for the portion of food that you receive. We are content creator, so we happen to record every dish that we received. ( the leisurely) First thing they brought out was roasted nuts and marinated olives. (6/10). Some of the olives were hard, but the roasted nuts were pretty good. 2. My wife is allergic to shrimp so they were gonna bring out the grilled ponds but instead the chef decided to bring out brussels sprouts. (2/10). It was awful. I almost gagged legitimately, and my wife felt the same, the brussels sprouts also had a foul smell to them as if they were spoiled. - it was paired with the winter salad. In my opinion, that was the second best thing that they brought out. It was very rich in flavor,colorful as well. 3. They then brought out some pasta. Tagliatelle Pasta. This is the best thing that they brought out. The noodles were fresh and the meat choice ( roast) paired very well and it was mildly flavorful, enough to swing both ways but we'd say it swung in the right direction. I'd give it 8.5/10. 4. They then brought out steelhead trout with couscous and cauliflower with roasted carrots. - I think the audacity to give two full grown adults. A 1/3 portion of fish is quite literally disrespectful. The piece of fish itself was not seasoned, but it happened to pair slightly with the couscous and whatever sauce. It was quinoa actually.. (6.5/10) flavor wise. I hate really complaining about food, but this was so underwhelming.. that I may have contested the bill if my baby didn't poop out of his clothes during the visit. I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.
