The best IHOP I have ever been too. Prompt seating and service. I can't stress how good my server was at providing me great conversation and personal attention. I never had to ask for anything. Customer service is poor. Arrived on TWO occasions Monday around 9am & Tuesday around 8:45am waited to be seated after 10 mins that's 10 mins without an acknowledgement I left thinking ok I tried again. Two strike iNot is out!!!! read more

I love IHop, I always get the T-bone steak and eggs, and here (although not completely cooked how I like) it was just as good as every other ihop I've been to! But our waitress wasn't very nice, not that she was rude, just not very relatable. Towards her fellow coworkers she seemed happy but to my husband and I and other customers she was kind of cold. read more

This is a very clean, well-run IHOP. The servers are attentive and pleasant to talk to. The food is consistently good and the service is usually quick. They seem a bit understaffed on some days, but it hasn't been a problem. read more

Great service this morning with Allen! I had French toast, eggs and sausage. My sister had the smokehouse combo with sausage, eggs, red potatoes and pancakes. Sooo good. Allen was helpful with suggestions for a meal and substitutions. Staff were very efficient even with the hustle and bustle of the Sunday morning crowd. Normally I would not select IHOP for a Sunday breakfast outing. However, today I met with a relative, and this was the closest place to their home. I was a little put off when I saw the line standing in the lobby, but the manager assured us that the wait would only be 15 to 20 minutes. The actually wait was about 30 minutes. However, considering the number of families that were waiting to be seated, and the number of people that continued to pour in to the place, I was impressed with how the restaurant kept the line moving. Once seated, I was surprised at the cozy atmosphere. There were no booths available for just 2 people, so we had to sit a table where one seat was a cushioned bench and the other was just a chair. Thankfully, they did not squeeze anyone into the small table adjoined to ours. The waitress promptly greeted us, and took our drink orders. Within just a minute or two she came back with our drinks, and we then placed our food order. I noticed that other guests who were seated at the same time as us, received their food much faster than we did. I was beginning to get concerned. However, just when I decided to flag her down and inquire about our order, she appeared with our breakfast. I can certainly see why we had to wait while. The food looked absolutely divine! The french toast that my relative ordered, looked so good, it made me wish I had ordered that too! However, I had plenty to work with on my own plate. The Country Fried Steak was so big that it literally covered almost the whole plate! There was practically no room for my hash browns and scrambled eggs! The pancakes, which were on a separate plate of course, were huge and fluffy. I was amazed at the portion size as well as how wonderful everything looked! There was so much food that I literally could not finish it all. I ended up sharing my hash browns, and a small piece of my steak. I decided that I would take the rest of my steak and pancakes home to eat for lunch. I was truly impressed with the service at this IHOP. I took notice of all the servers who were working the tables near by, and I must say that they provided top notch service. This is a place that my husband and I come to almost every weekend. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that there is always a wait, but that is a good thing because that means their food is that good. Every time we have come here, we have had the best servers and the best food. Our food has always come out promptly and we have never had a bad experience here. The restaurant is always clean and the servers are always busy and helping each other. You can tell this place is a family oriented business and they care about their customers. If anything, it is a lot of the customers who come in who make the place ugly, and I don't mean by the way they look. My husband and I have witnessed customers screaming at their servers from across the restaurant or snapping their fingers at them and that is just rude. I can only hope those type of customers start to go away, so the rest of us who do enjoy this restaurant and the food can continue to enjoy our meals there. read more

Best IHOP in the history of foreverdom is the Tech Rd, Silver Spring! I love this location, it's all ways fast, friendly and clean.

This particular IHOP is definitely as good as it's going to get. The customer service is excellent, the food is really good for the price, and the prices are very reasonable. It's usually crowded because it's a great place to eat and very affordable. The manager, Cameron, has made that restaurant so successful because he knows how to make a customer happy and understands what good customer service is. You can tell that customer service is extremely important. The place is always clean, too. I love going here. The servers aren't so money hungry for tips that they rush you out. I've spent time just reading and drinking coffee and the servers still wait on me and always tell me to take my time (even when I'm not buying anything more than coffee). All of the managers are great and I've not had one server that wasn't customer oriented. Great job, IHOP! You have a loyal customer in me (and my son Kris). read more

Waited for 15 minutes to have a man seated before us in a booth for 4 people. When confronted the manager he said no one wanted to sit next to the door. I replied "you didn't offer it to me", so he sat my party of 2 in a half booth with a wobbly table and unclean. Left immediately and will never return. read more

Well it was the absolute worst time I've experienced in a very long me and a few friends came in to eat We got seated when we got our Server he was obviously had a biased opinion based on our appearance he did not greet us nor did he introduce him self he ask where we ready to order when we said yes once we started to order he ran off and left us with no clue to what was going on shortly the location manger came over and told us he was accusing us of using profanity towards him and in actuality no profane language was used in the servers presents we explained how that was not the truth and to have the server come back and repeat to him what we said because he ran away from the table before even taking a single order the manger told us it's not necessary and he would have a new server for us shortly 15- 20 minuets go by and We ask why haven't we gotten a new server and he pointed at our table and said now we cannot be served then proceeded to have the police excourt me and my group of friends out the restaurant it was one of the most embarrassing moments I've ever had trying to dine in at a restaurant especially over such a misunderstanding by an employee that was clearly intimidated and uncomfortable servicing me and my friends in the future I probably wouldn't dine at this location because of my appearance and physical stature I might get poor service or I may leave intimidated by the police with no service at all like I did with my last visit read more

My family and I frequent this IHOP and always have a great experience. We dine in, we've gotten carry out. Service and food is always terrific. We have been eating there for the last 2 years. We were there last night and were served by Ms. Renee. She was quick, friendly, and patient with my father-in-law when he had difficulty communicating what exactly he wanted to order. We really like going here because we have 4 kids and we never have issues with getting seated quickly. Always have a server that knows the menu and gets our order right the first time. Everyone that works there is smiling and friendly. The Team there does a great job. read more

i always take my family to this ihop it is close to my house but on 10/01/2019 i took my wife for breakfast before i was going to work and i had my work shirt on which cost $45.00 it was just cleaned and no stains on it, when the manager brought our food there was butter on the end of the handle on a steak knife and when he laid our food down he laid it so the handle rubbed on my shirt and left butter stain on my shirt i know it is a little petty but now the stains wont come out and i had to go home to change and i was late for work, he didn't even apologize about it. so we are not going back when you have a manager that does not care about customers that rubs off on the employees. read more

This is the first time I felt compelled to write a review after lurking as a guest for a while. I came here as a party of one on a busy Sunday afternoon. Quoted wait time was 20 minutes, although it was actually 35 minutes, no big deal. Once seated at my sticky table, it took 5 minutes for the woman who was supposed to be my server to walk by and tell me she would help me in a few. Again, no big deal. The restaurant was busy and at least she acknowledged me. Five minutes later, the manager walks by and asks if I have been helped. I repeated what the waitress said and he decided to take my order for her. She walked by a little after my order was taken and asked if I have been helped. I told her yes, thank you. I am mildly annoyed at this point. My food was brought to me by a different server. There was no regular syrup on the table and when the opportunity presented itself to flag down my "server", I asked her for syrup and napkins. The food was hot and delicious. The only saving grace of this place. When I am done eating, the server walks by and I ask her for the bill. She says, get this, do you know who your server was? She knows damn well it was supposed to be her as she was the one who told me that she would be with me in a few. I was never properly greeted by anyone for that matter. Her name was on my receipt. I felt as if she assumed that because I was a party of one that she would not get a good tip. She didn't even try to give decent service. I had to ask her for everything. By the end, I felt she didn't deserve ANY tip and I pride myself on tipping graciously when it is deserved. I gave her $2 on a $10.90 meal. I would return for the food but I would make sure as hell I got a different server. read more

I'm really glad this ihop is here! I moved back home for the summer from school and occasionally when I have the day off I'll stay up all night with my brother and play video games. After the long fun we've had of course will work up an appetite and since the neighborhood friendlys is not open till 7am ihop is open 24 hrs which is convienient if you'd rather not wait till 7 to eat if your hungry at 5-6, when we usually go! We have done this routine twice now, play all night then go to ihop and everytime I've went I got the new garden scramble with the two pancakes, perfect! Scrambled eggs with green and red peppers mushrooms and onions. I'm getting hungry thinking about it since I just woke up lol! As far as the service our waitresses have looked out for our every need and then some. They treated us like we were their children. This is and ordinary ihop with excellent service even at 5-6 am! read more

This location is ok. The food is the same quality as every other IHOP. The only problem I have had is with to-go orders. The lines are always busy or they put you on hold for an extremely long period of time. I understand that they are busy but pleas just check on the customer and let them know you will help them as soon as you can. Overall the restaurant is average. I love this place. I think IHop does an excellent job for the level of restaurant it is. Well, I should say that we always get breakfast there, so I can't vouch for anything else. But they always make me a skillet even though skillets are not on the menu anymore. The skillets are awesome. The waitresses are always so nice and friendly. The harvest pancakes are great, and my husband always seems very happy with whatever egg/meat/pancake choice he makes. The servings are big - great, I love leftovers. read more

We waited for 40mins to be seated, and then another 10 minutes to make our orders. For a busy Sunday morning, we thought this was normal. I visited iHop on July 4th for the first time in about 2 years and was extremely disappointed. We were told our wait would be 10 minutes, we were called by mistake 30 minutes later, and finally sat at the worst table in the restaurant 45 minutes after putting our name down. Our server, Elvina, did not bother to write down our order, which included an appetizer (that came out with our food), which caused our orders to inevitably come out incorrect. We were sat directly next to the server's station and the kitchen, and yet found ourselves overlooked by her the entire visit. I had to get her attention a few times just to get the check, and she only voluntarily came to our table four times. Once to take our order, give us drinks, twice to drop off food. My order was completely wrong, but by the time I flagged her down, we needed to leave and get the bill. All the food I didn't receive was still reflected on the bill, and instead of removing it, she gave me whatever was currently in the back for other tables in a to go box. Not to mention, what she did bring out was cold. But she never came by for me to even speak to her about it. Between the misleading wait time, and the terrible service, I'm not sure how this establishment can provide a pleasant experience to customers. On a busy day, somehow most of my food was cold, and not surprisingly incorrect. I'm not sure why the company is trying their hand at burgers when they can't even master breakfast. Instead of enjoying my entire meal in the restaurant, I was forced to take parts of it home, which was then wasted because going back home was not part of our plans. I've enjoyed other iHop experiences in the past, but I would not suggest trying this one. read more

There are a few Ihops I will never go back to because I've never had good service and the food orders always get messed up. However, I don't think I've ever had a problem here, and my friends and I definitely love coming here when we're hungry and are craving breakfast. I'm usually not a fan of going to chains for breakfast, because I work at a locally owned breakfast shop myself. But my friend and I had been to the silver diner up the street and been ignored completely. So not only were we hungry but we were also grumpy. Well as soon as we walked into IHOP we were seated quickly. Within minutes our server appeared at our table and took our drink and food orders. She was friendly, fast, and efficient. Ihop has great food. I order from them a lot! It's great. The staff is super-friendly! Once I walk in I see a wave of hands and warm, welcoming smiles there to greet me. But, they have a huge line and you have to wait for like 30-45 minutes for a dine-in and around 35 minutes for a pick-up! And I just think that's a little riduculous! Also, when we call in to get a pick-up they always get our order wrong somehow. When we order white toast they always give us something different, when we say bacon they give us sausage! And it's awful. But other then those two things they're pretty good! read more

I generally shy away from reviewing chain restaurants, but I have been to this IHOP three times in the past month and a half, and each time the service was excellent. The manager was present all three times that I took my son out for breakfast, and you can tell that, while he runs a tight ship, he is not afraid to get his hands dirty. The wait to get into the restaurant is typically long, but the hostess does not sugar-coat it: her predictions are accurate. Once inside the restaurant, the service has been fast and friendly. We have had Janet A as our waitress two of the times. She checked on us just the right number of times during the meal, and was efficient with the bill. The five stars are for the service. The food quality is very good, and the variety of offerings extends to those watching their health, which is a change over the years. The food isn't expensive, but it isn't cheap either. This restaurant is clean, and the staff, although they had to work fast, move tables around for larger parties, and take complicated orders, did an outstanding and unobtrusive job,never making us feel rushed. read more

Went for breakfast this morning. Was waited on by Janet, server 242. Everything was going cool but when you see two people sitting at a table, never assume anything and ask if the checks will be seperate....that never happened. So Janet brings one check to the table and my friend and I (both females) decided to just both put our credit cards in the wallet and asked that she split it down the middle (although my friend's bill was more than mine, I chopped it up because we didn't want to go through the hassle of asking her to bring seperate checks). Well she split the bill and we both signed receipts for the split amount. This evening, something told me to check my bank account and I see the entire amount charged! I look at the receipt I signed and again, its for the split amount so now Im scared and thinking Janet committed fraud at this point. I call the store, explain the situation...well attempt too and the general store manager Kamram, talked over me the entire time, yelling and going back and forth with me as if he was the angry customer. Talking over me, he told me that she charged me for the full amount first, then the correct amount and that I should see the difference within a few days. So basically now I am without the full amount in addition to the split amount since there were two seperate charges and for days I am without my money. I told him that right now I only see the full amount deducted from my bank account and he talked over me saying that no I don't and that it's pending...sir that is what you see on your end....not in my bank account. As I explained to him, I'm not angry that Janet made a mistake...I'm angry that she never said anything about it to me as the customer once she did. Had she returned to the table and told me in advance about her mistake, I would've never been alarmed when I noticed the charge and I would've been ok but the fact that she remained sneaky about the situation really upset me. The general store manager Kamram said he was very sorry and apologized (finally after I ask him to listen to me)...I am the angry customer, not you. Your job as general manager is to listen, apologize and make it better, not argue, talk over me and justify the mistake. I had to say..because he never offered, if I can be compensated for their mistake and was finally offered a free breakfast...again..after I mention it. I think it should've been one of the first things said instead of telling me the money is pending when I clearly see it was deducted from my account. I ended the conversation because I felt I wasn't being heard and received a voice message from the general manager, apologizing again and offering a free meal. By this point, I have a headache and it's just been too much stress. I'll choice Denny's, Eggspecations or Tastee Diner in the future. read more
